'Very tough opening month' - fans on Liverpool's fixtures

Following the release of the 2025-26 Premier League fixtures, we asked for your thoughts on Liverpool's are some of your comments:Mike: If the Reds get their transfer targets and they gel quickly with the rest of the team, then I think we will be league leaders after 10 The start is really difficult and the run-in with Everton and Manchester United thrown in there. Other than that, it's not too bad and evens out as the season goes on. The run from December and January is decent as well, a little kinder than previous years. Of course, they're all difficult fixtures but we handled them well last year. Once we get past the first 10 games it should be OK from there. Bring it If we manage to resolve Ibrahima Konate's contract, bed in the new players and get a striker in, then we will look even stronger than last season. I would say top of the table after 10 games is a realistic Very tough opening month and the final set of games don't look great either to be honest. If we're going to retain the title this year, then it will be fully An incredibly tough run of fixtures at the start and end of the season. Will have to win the title by the end of April again to avoid a potentially nervy finish!

Former driver arrested for killing elderly Hyderabad couple

HYDERABAD: Two persons were arrested in Medak on Tuesday over their alleged involvement in the murder of an elderly couple. According to Rajendranagar police, the primary accused, Mohammed Shakeel Salman (33), used to work as a driver for the victims — Shaik Abdullah Abdul Hamid, a retired SBI senior official, and his wife, Amtur Rafai Rizwana, a retired lecturer — in Arbiz Residency in Jana Chaitanya Colony Phase-II, Upperpally, Hyderabad. He was a driver for the deceased for two years, but dismissed from his duties eight months ago due to unsatisfactory performance. On Thursday, Shakeel and Mujeebuddin gained entry to the couple's residence disguised as 'Ali'. Once inside, Shakeel fatally stabbed both victims with a knife. Sacked driver & friend held for elderly couple's murder in Rajendranagar

Hyderabad: Five days after an elderly couple was murdered in their home in Rajendranagar, their former driver and his friend were arrested on Tuesday for the crime. The accused, ex-driver Mohammed Shakeel and his friend Mohammed Mujeebuddin, were caught based on CCTV footage, DCP (Rajendranagar) Ch Srinivas said. Police said the motive was unclear, but suspected that the driver may have bore a grudge as he had been jobless since being sacked. Cops also did not rule out robbery, but the accused claimed to have taken only Rs 600 from the man's pocket. The bodies of the couple – Shaik Abdullah Abdul Hamid (77), a retired assistant general manager of SBI, and his wife Ummatur Rafai Rizwana (70), a retired lecturer – were found by the watchman soon after two persons, one in burqa and another in a mask, left the duplex flat on June 5. The couple lived on the fifth and sixth floors of the building, while the remaining portions have been rented out. They have four children, two residing in the US and two in London, police said. Police found that Shakeel had worked for two years as a driver for Abdullah's family. About eight months ago, Shakeel was sacked by Abdullah as he was unhappy with his work. Cops said that the person in the burqa was Shakeel and Mujeebuddin was the one with the mask. On June 5, the duo had gained entry by telling the watchman they had come for physiotherapy. They locked the door and then allegedly attacked the couple who were found with several stab wounds.
