Shake Shack's viral Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake is back by popular demand next week

As if you needed another reason to visit Shake Shack (seriously, we already have their crinkle fries way too often), it's bringing back its smash-hit Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake to all locations nationwide. We first encountered the viral milkshake back in April 2025, when it was given a limited-time test run at select Shack locations in Los Angeles, New York and Miami. Visitors in those lucky cities formed lines to make sure they could get the drink—and by 10 a.m. each day, the shakes had run out. So now, Shake Shack is making sure you can get one, too. Starting Tuesday, June 24, the brand will be serving the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake at all Shake Shack locations nationwide. It's a drinkable take on the titular chocolate bar (which has been transformed into everything from boozy cocktails to cheesecake bombs), which was first created by Emirati Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai and became popular on TikTok for its delicious mix of smooth milk chocolate filled with crispy, finely shredded filo dough kadayif and creamy pistachio and tahini filling. According to Shake Shack's press release, its international team visited the Middle East in December 2024 and first got the idea to make a milkshake based on the dessert—the culinary team was already working on developing the crackable chocolate shell and this seemed like the perfect bev to apply it to. The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake first became available at Shake Shacks in, where else, Dubai this February, before it came to LA, NYC and Miami two months later. And now the rest of the U.S. will get a taste. The shake will be priced at $9.49 and will contain pistachio frozen custard blended with toasted kadayif, covered in a crackable dark chocolate shell you can plunge through with your straw. On top, you'll find a sprinkling of chopped pistachios and kadayif. Your nearest Shake Shack will start churning these up next Tuesday but get there early—the premium ingredients required to make it mean that there will only be 50 shakes available each day. Moreover, you can't order by app—you have to go in person to get one. That kind of continues the mystique of the original bar, but at least you don't have to go all the way to Dubai for it!

You can now get Shake Shack burgers on Delta flights out of Miami

Listen, we love a Biscoff cookie as much as the next traveler, but if we had to choose a mid-flight snack, we're definitely choosing Shack— Shake Shack, that is. As part of a wider expansion of the partnership between Delta Airlines and the beloved NYC-born patty purveyor—which first kicked off with flights out of Boston last December—Delta passengers can order Shake Shack Cheeseburgers flying out of Miami International Airport as of Tuesday, June 3. The mouthwatering burgers are made with a 100-percent Angus beef patty and melted American cheese sandwiched in a toasted, squishy potato bun; diners can customize their order with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and the chain's signature ShackSauce. The beefy offering is available to customers seated in first class on eligible flights of over 900 miles—they are able to pre-order a cheeseburger as their meal option using the Fly Delta app or the link in their email, between 24 hours and seven days of departure. The cheeseburger is served alongside a Caesar salad, potato chips and a dark chocolate brownie. Miami is one of seven new Delta routes that have added Shake Shack to select flights, joining John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Orlando International Airport, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Salt Lake City International Airport. Along with Boston, markets like Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles and LaGuardia Airport in NYC already offer the Shake Shack in-flight items. 'Customers are raving about the Shake Shack experience onboard our flights after serving more than 10,000 burgers out of Boston since launching in December,' Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service, said in March. 'This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience – whether that's making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure.'

With Shake Shack proclaiming that it's Fried Pickle Season, the announcement couldn't have come at a better time. The new addition to the restaurant's menu features thick, juicy dill pickles fried to perfection, with a crisp outer layer packed full of flavor. Related: "Move aside Crinkle Cuts – it's time for our newest side to make its debut! Brine-y, Crispy, Craveable. I Tried Shake Shack's New Fried Pickles & Have BIG Feelings

You know what's absolutely shocking? Shake Shack only has a single side dish (crinkle-cut fries) on its menu. And it's been that way since the chain first opened 20 years ago. But that's about to change—for the first time ever, Shake Shack is introducing a new side to its menu. While you may have previously enjoyed the chain's fried pickles atop its Carolina BBQ Burger (another limited-time menu item), this marks the first time customers can order up a side of fried pickles to enjoy alongside any of the Shack's delicious handhelds. The catch? This option will only be available throughout the summer. And let me tell you, you're going to want to get your greedy fingers all over these. The fried pickles are made with the brand's own dill pickles (the same ones you'll find on many of its burgers) and proprietary brine, and are coated in a seasoned, fried batter, served alongside house-made Shack Ranch for dipping. The seasoning on the fried pickles might taste familiar—it's the same stuff you'll find on the Chicken Shack and is every bit as delicious when surrounding a pickle. One of the chefs in Shake Shack's Innovation Kitchen calls them a "warm pickle explosion," and I agree, they're dill-licious. These fried pickles have all the elements that take a fried pickle from good to great. There's a tangy bite of acid, a slight hint of heat, a substantial crunch, and, of course, fresh dill pickle flavor. Not only is the flavor perfectly executed, but the outer fried breading holds up extremely well—my fried pickles never got soggy, even over the 20 minutes that I kept going back for more, even after my full stomach kept telling me to stop. The ranch sauce provides a creamy juxtaposition to the crunchiness of the pickles and only adds to the overall dish. (I say this as someone who doesn't even really like ranch!) Now, this isn't my first foray into fried pickles. Like any New Yorker, I've paired the addictive snack with many a sports-viewing outing. I even recently got my hands on Popeyes' new fried pickles and, for that matter, its whole pickle menu. While I liked the chicken chain's version just fine, Shake Shack's takes the snack to the next level. Honestly, after what's sure to be a 10 out of 10 fan reaction, I wouldn't be surprised if (hot take incoming!) no one ever orders the fries again. At $3.99, the fried pickles are available beginning May 20 throughout the summer. And yes, it must be said: they're kind of a big dill. Shake Shack is adding a new side to its menu for the first time ever — and fans say it's ‘perfection'

It's dill-icious. On Tuesday, Shake Shack announced they were adding fried pickles to their menu, the first-ever side that isn't crinkle-cut fries. The new item features dill pickles in the restaurant's 'proprietary brine,' fried 'to perfection' with a crispy outer layer, and served with a side of house-made Shack Ranch. Shake Shack 'Move aside Crinkle Cuts – it's time for our newest side to make its debut,' the press release read. 'Our newest side, Fried Pickles are here, and they are stealing the spotlight.' The addition of fried pickles to the menu builds from the excitement of Shake Shack's rollout of their summer BBQ menu. Advertisement Last year, one-third of customers who tried the summer lineup shared their delight for the fried pickle topping, featured on the chain's Carolina BBQ Burger and Carolina BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Shake Shack said. One-third of fast-food consumers also expressed interest in more side options at the Shack — and the chain pickled their interest. Fried pickles will be available on Shake Shack menus for $3.99 for a limited time. 3 The fried pickles were initially toppings on two of Shake Shack's sandwiches on the summer BBQ menu. Shake Shack Advertisement Shack Shake also recently released a new shake — the Dubai Chocolate Shake, inspired by the viral pistachio cream-and-pastry filled chocolate bars. Meanwhile, the restaurant is celebrating National Burger Month by offering a free burger to patrons every day from May 1 through June 1. 3 The addition of fried pickles to the menu builds from the excitement of Shake Shack's rollout of their summer BBQ menu.
