Imagine waking up on vacation in a bed facing the ocean, before heading to your private gym for a morning workout. From there, you could unwind in a personal massage room or take in the sea breeze from a wraparound balcony. And that's before you even leave your cruise cabin. Regent Seven Seas Cruises' new Skyview Regent Suite will include those and more features. The six-person space will start at $25,000 per night when it debuts aboard the luxury line's newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige, in 2026. "At Regent, we are committed to setting new standards in ultra luxury travel, and the Skyview Regent Suite is a true embodiment of that promise," Jason Montague, Regent's chief luxury officer, said in a news release. "At nearly 9,000 square feet, this breathtaking two-level suite delivers the most exclusive and elevated experience at sea, complete with every imaginable luxury included in the voyage fare.' When will Seven Seas Prestige launch? The 822-guest Seven Seas Prestige will depart on its maiden voyage on Dec. 13, 2026. The two-week transatlantic sailing from Barcelona to Miami will visit Malaga, Spain, Madeira in Portugal and more. What does the Skyview Regent Suite include? Guests will find lavish accommodations with two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms – including a spa-like main bathroom with a hand-carved floating tub and sauna – and a formal dining area. Take in views from an ocean-facing bar, or chill on cushy sofas in the in-suite living room. Natural light will fill the space courtesy of a skylight, and a floating natural stone staircase will connect the suite's two levels – or passengers can opt to ride the private elevator. "In the Skyview Regent Suite, we aimed to capture the essence of modern Italian design, combining clean, elegant lines with exquisite craftsmanship to create a truly unforgettable experience," said Elias Sol, Senior Associate at Studio DADO, which is behind the suite's design. The room's hefty price tag comes with many perks, including a private car, driver and guide in port; included laundry and dry cleaning; a menu of linens and pillows; a butler and more. Guests will also get access to the private 12-person dining venue, The Study. The Skyview Regent Suite is one of a dozen suite categories onboard the new vessel. Where will Seven Seas Prestige sail? The ship will spend its first season in Europe and the Caribbean, with cruises available between 10 and 15 nights. Destinations include London, England; Bordeaux in France; Belize's Harvest Caye private island and more. Cruises currently start at $6,499 per person for Deluxe Veranda Suites. Bookings will open on June 25, but guests can register their interest in advance on Regent's website, by calling 1-844-473-4368 or through their travel agent. A first look inside the largest cruise suite at sea – which costs £20,000 per night
A suite may offer extra space and a touch of luxury on a cruise ship, but with its latest vessel, Regent Seven Seas has really pushed the boat out. The luxury cruise brand has unveiled the largest suite at sea on board Seven Seas Prestige, which will launch in 2026. Set across the front of the ship above the bridge, guests will get 9,000 square feet of space, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The suite will accommodate up to six people and will feature a more than 3,500-square-foot wraparound balcony. Despite prices for the Skyview Regent Suite starting at £20,000 per night, the brand says it has already received high demand for bookings. On entering, guests will be greeted by a grand foyer featuring sculptural leather wall elements and integrated lighting that leads to a reception area with a floating natural stone staircase and a private in-suite elevator. The main level will centre around a formal dining area with a cosy library-style seating nook. A sleek ocean-facing bar will connect to a spacious living room with a bar cart and plush sofas. On the same floor, there will be a second full guest suite, while the main suite will be based on the upper level and will include a seating area that transforms into a bedroom where a handcrafted bed by renowned Italian bedmaker Flou faces the sea for uninterrupted views. The spa-inspired main bathroom will offer twin vanities, a hand-carved floating tub, sauna, and a walk-in shower. There will also be a large walk-in wardrobe, complete with a central island and glass-front cabinets. When not relaxing or dining, guests can also make use of the private gym, yoga space and dedicated massage room. And it's not just the space guests will be paying for. Passengers will have access to a private dining venue for up to 12 people, located on Deck 11 between restaurants Chartreuse and Prime 7. Skyview Regent Suite guests will also have a dedicated butler service and daily Serene Spa & Wellness treatments with priority access and a private fitness session included. A private car with driver and guide will meet suite guests at every port of call, plus there is unlimited laundry and dry cleaning, personalised stationery and a curated pillow and linen menu. And if all that's not enough, passengers will also be welcomed with luxe extras including a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne and Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac, designer bath amenities, an aromatic suite fragrance collection, an in-suite caviar service, daily canapés and even a shoeshine service. The 77,000-tonne, 822-capacity ship will make its maiden voyage from Barcelona to Miami on 13 December 2026, with itineraries scheduled until May 2027 to visit the Caribbean and Europe, including two transatlantic crossings. Fares start at £5,079 per person for a deluxe veranda suite. There are 12 suite categories to choose from on Seven Seas Prestige. Forget cramped cabins and bunk beds, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is offering jet-setters the chance to sail in the world's biggest luxury cruise ship suite. The Seven Seas Prestige claims to be the 'most luxurious cruise ship in the world' and is now offering the Skyview Regent Suite which includes a wraparound balcony, two bedrooms, a private elevator and a personal gym and sauna. Split across two levels, the luxury suite also has its own living room, a floating stone staircase, a walk-in closet, a dining area with its own bar, as well as access to two high-end restaurants. The lavish 817sqm-suit can sleep six guests and is the most spacious on board the ship. But guests will have to fork out an jaw-dropping £20k per night to stay in the floating palace. Guests are waited on by a personal butler and can enjoy daily spa and wellness treatments. The ship will sail 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe in 2026 and will dock at locations including the private island of Harvest Caye, Belize, London, Lisbon, Portugal and Bordeaux, France as well as sailing up and down the Panama Canal. The ship's maiden voyage in December will see the Seven Seas Prestige depart Barcelona for a 14-night transatlantic festive trip. Calling at Miami, Málaga, Spain, the Portuguese island of Madeira and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands the trips also features up to 38 included shore excursions. The luxury liner is the first new ship to join Regent's Explorer-Class vessels in ten years and boasts a capacity of 822 guests with 630 dedicated crew members. Carnival and Royal Caribbean are making major cruise ship upgrades
Although cruise lines put a lot of careful thought and attention into ship design, they don't always get everything right. Sometimes, cruise ship features miss the mark, or designers fail to recognize something that was important to passengers. Occasionally, they even overlook something that passengers say has a negative impact on the cruise experience. Related: Royal Caribbean passengers demand key onboard change Passenger preferences and needs change over time, too, so certain features eventually become outdated as new innovations are developed that enhance the cruise experience. Luckily, the fact that there's limited space on a cruise ship doesn't mean onboard areas like the pool deck, restaurants, bars, and casinos, can't be redesigned at some point. Even spaces that can't be fully reworked, like staterooms, can be refreshed to add some enhancements. When cruise ships go to dry dock for routine maintenance every few years, they often receive significant refurbishment throughout to overhaul existing venues and make improvements that will elevate passengers' future sailings on the ship. Sometimes when a need arises, cruise lines will even make upgrades to a ship without taking it out of service for dry dock. That's something Royal Caribbean is currently doing to fix a big casino problem on some of its newer and most-popular ships. Here's your cruise news for Thursday, June 12th. Carnival Valor is back in service after completing a month-long dry dock over in Spain. The 21-year-old ship received major upgrades including the addition of the Heroes Tribute Bar and WaterWorks Aqua Park. Public spaces were also refreshed, staterooms upgraded with USB outlets, and the casino and spa were also expanded. Valor resumed service yesterday in Barcelona and is now sailing a 15-night repositioning cruise to New Orleans. Yeah, Regent Seven Seas has unveiled its most extravagant suite yet, the Skyview Regent Suite aboard the upcoming Seven Seas Prestige. Spanning nearly 9,000 square feet over two levels, the suite will set you back $25,000 per night and includes a private gym, sauna, bar, elevator, and a car and driver in every port. And Royal Caribbean is expanding the casino aboard Wonder of the Seas, converting the Crown Lounge on Deck 4 into a larger, non-smoking gaming area. The Crown Lounge will be relocated to Deck 16 and reopen later this month. The expanded, redesigned casino will reopen in mid-July. Wonder of the Seas is currently sailing Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral and will reposition to Miami in August.
