What did Thalapathy Vijay give to Anirudh Ravichander after the success of their first film together Kaththi?
Thalapathy Vijay is all set to bid farewell to cinema after his last film, Jana Nayagan. The movie is scheduled to release in January 2026, and people are quite excited about it. H Vinoth directed the movie while Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. Recently, Anirudh recalled an anecdote from the past and reminisced about the special gift that he received from the Tamil actor after the success of their first film together and how it remains a crucial part of his life. Anirudh Ravichander reveals Thalapathy Vijay's special gift for him. Speaking with Anupama Chopra in a recent interview, Anirudh Ravichander gave a peek into his music room, where a gigantic piano is located. The composer revealed that it was gifted to him by Thalapathy Vijay after the success of the music album of their first film together, Kaththi. He said, 'I sit and play this a lot. I mean, in fact, whenever I kind of present a tune to the composer. This was gifted to me by Vijay sir, actually. When I was first, it was my fourth film, called Kaththi. So when the album of that did well, he gifted me this piano.' Anirudh reveals how Vijay's piano serves as a memoir to him even today Moving on in the conversation, the artist added that even now, he has kept this piano with him as a memoir. Moreover, Anirudh mentioned how before every song of his, he plays the tune of the track to the director first on this piano without any other instrumentation backing it. Once they like the tone, then only he presents the full song. In his words, 'So I have kept this as a memoir. Whenever I present any tune to the director, I always present it on the piano first without any backing or instrumentation. I just play the melody and show them. They like the melody, then I show them the song.' Thalapathy Vijay gets a 51st birthday tribute from fans Fast forward to now, Thalapathy Vijay will be marking his 51st birthday on June 22. His fans across the world are all set to celebrate and mark the day, more especially this year since he will be leaving cinema permanently after his last film Jana Nayagan. Ahead of his birthday, producers of his iconic film Leo, Seven Screen Studio, dedicated a special tribute video for the actor. The 44-second clip captured some of the greatest achievements of Vijay as an actor from his debut film to the final one, Jana Nayagan.

Vignesh Shivan's 'Love Insurance Kompany' starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty to release on September 18
Director Vignesh Shivan 's eagerly-awaited romantic entertainer ' Love Insurance Kompany ', featuring actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead, will hit screens on September 18 this year, its makers announced on Monday. The film has been produced by actress Nayanthara , who is also the wife of director Vignesh Shivan. Seven Screen Studio, the production house that is presenting the film, took to its X timeline to make the announcement. Posting a video clip to announce the release date of the film, the production house wrote, "This SEPTEMBER 18th, come and celebrate the festival of LOVE in theatres." Taking to his Instagram timeline, Vignesh Shivan wrote, "LIK from September 18th. Need all your blessings, love & support." It may be recalled that the director, in April, had penned a lengthy post in which he had announced that post production work of the film had begun. He had also thanked his entire team for their hard work, passion, honesty and love for the film. He had then said, "Abundance of passion, love, honesty and hard work from each and everyone has built #LoveInsuranceKompany. Every day of shoot had a lot of challenges! But we never forgot to have a smile and also enjoy the process !" The director said that without the support of everyone in the film, whatever magic they had tried to create in the film wouldn't have been possible. "Without compromising even for one frame, we are proud that we have put in our best efforts to make an original, fresh entertaining movie," Vignesh Shivan said and added that, "Post production works kick start with all your love and support!" The director had then said that the makers were looking to release the film for a festival. He wrote, "To Bring it (to) you on a festival date to celebrate more with your friends & families." Love Insurance Kompany, the shooting of which was recently wrapped up, features apart from Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, actors S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen among others. The film boasts of an impressive technical team. It has cinematography by ace cinematographer Ravivarman and music by Anirudh. Pradeep Ragav has been assigned the task of editing the film, which has stunts choreographed by popular stunt master Peter Hein. ‘PR04': Pradeep Ranganathan's next, co-starring Mamitha Baiju, titled ‘Dude'; first look out
We had previously reported that Dragon star Pradeep Ranganathan and Premalu star Mamitha Baiju have teamed up for a film bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Now, on Saturday (May 10), the makers announced that the film's been titled Dude. The makers announced the title with a first-look poster that features Pradeep, scars all over his face, wielding a sacred Mangalsutra that is wrapped around his fists. Pradeep, the director of Comali and Love Today, was last seen in the blockbuster comedy drama Dragon. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his film with Vignesh Shivan. Titled Love Insurance Kompany, the movie is produced by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and co-produced by LK Vishnu Kumar. Malayalam star Mamitha Baiju, catapulted into stardom for her performance alongside Naslen in Premalu, made her Tamil debut with GV Prakash Kumar's Rebel. She will be seen in Jana Nayagan, superstar Vijay's last film, directed by H Vinoth, and Irandu Vaanam, co-starring Vishnu Vishal.
