Love Island has made a comeback this month, already causing a stir with some brutal new twists and surprises wreaking havoc in the villa. From fresh bombshells to secrets being unveiled, tensions are escalating. Despite new challenges and new surprises, one thing has stayed consistent since the series returned in 2015, Iain Stirling. The sarcastic Scottish comedian is now for his witty voiceover of the reality show, however some may know him for different reasons. ‌ Iain Stirling was once the face of a CBBC programme, and in fact it was his first gig alongside his canine co-star Hacker T Dog. He left CBBC in 2013, only to return for a special 30th-anniversary celebration two years later. He went on to present programmes like The Dog Ate My Homework and Love Island on ITV2. He is also recognised as a comedian and a writer. However, as the latest series of Love Island graces our screens, a major throwback photo reveals the star looking vastly different from his current appearance. In a photo shared last year, Stirling sports longer hair than he does today and looks significantly younger as he poses next to fan favourite Hacker T Dog and Phil Fletcher who is the puppeteer behind the character. You said you were on a show but I had no idea you were my little teen crush! Awkward" One person said: "This was my whole childhood mate" Another chimed in: "Ngl. Now, as we know Iain works on Love Island and Love Island USA, but he also co-hosts the podcast Murder They Wrote with his wife and presenter, Laura Whitmore. The pair married in 2020 and they have a 4-year-old daughter together.

Renowned Hindi and Marathi actor-director Vivek Lagoo passed away on the evening of June 19. He was married to the late actor Reema Lagoo, and although the couple separated, they maintained an amicable relationship until Reema's untimely death in 2017. The funeral for Vivek will be held at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai on June 20 (Friday). The couple is survived by their daughter, Mrunmaeyee Lagoo, who has made a name and space for herself in the film industry. In an emotional post on Instagram, she paid tribute to her father and wrote, 'We fought together long and hard, but now it's time to say goodbye with love and gratitude. MY DAD! My best friend, my guide, my number one fan and the voice in my head… I will miss you… the best dad a girl can have.' She has served as a writer for the film Thappad (2020) and the popular Netflix series Scoop (2023). Reema made a name for herself with iconic roles in films like Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), and Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999). Vivek's last rites are being held at the same spot where Reema's funeral took place in 2017. The actor had reportedly complained of chest pain before being rushed to the hospital by her daughter and son-in-law. She suffered a heart attack and passed away that same night.

The veteran actress complained of chest pain shortly after wrapping up a shoot for the TV show Naamkarann. She was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to a heart attack that night. Reema's last rites were also performed at the Oshiwara crematorium.
