UFL's top 3 rushing leaders are ex-New York Giants The 2025 UFL season came to a close over the weekend with the DC Defenders defeating the Michigan Panthers, 58-34, to capture the league championship. The "high-level minor league" features eight teams, and they play 10 regular-season games. Unsurprisingly, many former NFL players -- some stars and some unknowns -- line the rosters, and the New York Giants are no exception. Here's a look at several former Giants who were among the UFL's leaders in various statistical categories. Rushing trio Jashaun Corbin (514 yards, 4 TDs) Jacob Saylors (499 yards, 5 TDs) Deon Jackson (417 yards, 4 TDs) Saylors also led the league in average yards per game (55.4) and was second in yards per carry (4.4) -- stats that are based on snap counts and playing time percentage. Corbin, meanwhile, had the best single-game performance of the season (142 yards). Years with Giants: Wing (2015-2017) Interceptions Two former Giants -- linebacker Tae Crowder and cornerback Deandre Baker -- were tied for second in the league with two interceptions apiece. Crowder amassed his interceptions over 10 games, while Baker was limited to eight games. Crowder also led the league with two interceptions returned for a touchdown. Years with Giants: Crowder (2020-2022) Baker (2019) Tackles Safety Jordan Mosley signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022 but suffered a broken hip during organized team activities (OTAs). That led him to the now-UFL, where he finished the season fifth in tackles (67). His 41 solo tackles were good for the seventh-most in the league. The UFL announced that no matter how teams finish, the USFL Conference title game will be held at Protective Stadium in Birmingham and the XFL Conference championship tilt will be held in St. Louis on June 8. Elsewhere, the Memphis Showboats (2-6) outlasted the San Antonio Brahmas (1-7) in overtime, 24-22. In the end, Memphis QB Troy Williams led his team to two straight two-point conversions in OT for the Showboats' second win this season.
