Nissan India expands to 283 touchpoints, eyes to reach the 300 mark by year end

Nissan India intends to grow its dealership network from about 160 outlets to 180 by the end of 2025 and aims to end this fiscal year with 300 touchpoints. He said, 'As Rajasthan continues to emerge as a key automotive market, we aim to deliver not just vehicles, but meaningful experiences backed by innovation, quality, and trust. We look forward to building lasting relationships with our customers here and being a part of their mobility journeys." Interestingly, the CNG kit with the Magnite is a retrofitted one, which means that these CNG kits are not factory fitted, rather fitted at the dealership level. The fitment of these kits will be carried out at government-authorised fitment centres. Nissan stated that the CNG Kit is fully developed, manufactured & Quality Assured by Motozen (3rd Party) as per country Regulatory Standards. Motozen will provide warranty for Kit components which will include a 12 kg single CNG cylinder. The rollout of this eco-friendly CNG kit fitment for the sustainability-aware and environment-conscious customer will be done in a phased manner across the country. The CNG option comes with a three year or 1 lakh km warranty. While the carmaker is yet to reveal the official power output and fuel efficiency figures, it is expected that the CNG powered Magnite will generate less power as compared to the petrol powered variants. This is common across every brand. Meanwhile, the fuel efficiency is claimed to be 24 km/kg in the city and 30 km/kg on the highway. In terms of features, the 2024 Nissan Magnite continues to get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with enhanced graphics, push start/stop button, automatic climate control, and USB Type-C ports. Nissan Motor India expands network with five new touchpoints in Rajasthan
In a bid to strengthen its regional footprints, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated five new outlets in Rajasthan, taking its network to 283 customer touchpoints across the country. The newly launched touchpoints include a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 20,000 sq. ft. workshop in Jaipur, a 10,000 sq. ft. integrated 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facility in Udaipur, and a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom in Ajmer. These touchpoints were inaugurated by Nissan Motor India's Managing Director, Saurabh Vatsa. With this, Nissan has 19 touchpoints now in Rajasthan. Nissan is prioritising Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets as it prepares to launch its future vehicle portfolio, positioning India as both a key domestic and export hub. Magnite leads growth and exports According to the company's statement, the New Magnite continues to be a cornerstone of Nissan's India strategy. It has contributed to Nissan's best annual sales performance in seven years, with FY2024-25 recording over 99,000 units—28,000+ domestic and 71,000+ exports to over 65 global markets. Further enhancing its customer offerings, Nissan has introduced a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for the New Magnite SUV .

Nissan expands footprint in Rajasthan with five new touchpoints
In a strategic push to strengthen its presence in the Indian market, Nissan has announced the addition of five new customer touchpoints in Rajasthan, expanding its total network in India to 283 touchpoints. The new facilities—spread across Jaipur, Udaipur, and Ajmer—include showrooms and service workshops designed to deliver an integrated and premium customer experience. With this expansion, Nissan now operates 19 touchpoints in Rajasthan, including multiple outlets in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Jaipur, the company inaugurated a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 20,000 sq. ft. service workshop, both located on Gopalpura Bypass. Udaipur welcomed a comprehensive 3S facility (Sales, Service, and Spare parts) spread over 10,000 sq. ft., while Ajmer saw the opening of a new 4,000 sq. ft. Raj Nissan showroom on Jaipur Road. Nissan Motor India is reinforcing its dedication to sustainability by launching several green initiatives to commemorate the World Environment Day . These initiatives include installing solar power systems at dealerships, conducting tree-planting activities, reducing plastic usage, and introducing a CNG retrofitment kit for the Nissan Magnite. The company aims to reduce environmental impact and promote a cleaner future. The company has installed grid-based solar electricity generation systems at seven dealerships across India. The dealerships include Acuity Nissan (Baroda), Aarav Nissan (Mehsana), EVM Nissan (three dealerships in Kerala), Dada Nissan (Jalandhar), and Roshan Nissan (Jaipur). These solar installations are designed to power 100 per cent of the workshop and showroom operations. Excess energy generated is redirected to the power grid for later use. This reduces the dealerships' reliance on conventional energy sources. The kit also delivers enhanced fuel efficiency without compromising on performance. In the first phase of the rollout, the retrofitment kit is available across seven states. The dealers have installed grid-based solar electricity generation systems at seven of its dealerships across the country - Acuity Nissan (Baroda), Aarav Nissan (Mehsana), EVM Nissan (3 dealerships in Kerala), Dada Nissan (Jalandhar), and Roshan Nissan (Jaipur). These installations power 100% of the workshop and showroom operations with excess energy redirected to the power grid for later use. The company claims that this initiative reduces dependency on conventional energy sources and exemplifies Nissan's move towards cleaner dealership operations. Participants will also receive a "Green Service Certificate" and seed packets to encourage more tree planting beyond the dealership premises. Additionally, Nissan has also reduced packaging plastic usage by 15%, reinforcing its broader commitment to responsible environmental practices.
