Satechi FindAll Glasses Case makes your specs almost impossible to lose

Apple's Find My network can be a godsend if your iPhone or AirPods go walkabout – and now the Satechi FindAll Glasses Case has come along to make your specs harder to lose too. Made from vegan leather (AKA not leather at all), the Satechi FindAll Glasses Case has Bluetooth 5.4 LE onboard, so once you've added it to your Find My app you'll be able to use your phone to track the case down when you can't remember where you put it. There's no ultra-wideband onboard, so it won't be as accurate as Apple's AirTags, but it should still help you narrow down the search to the point that you can trigger the 80dB SOS chime and use your ears to locate it. That'll also go off as a 'don't forget me!' alarm if you leave it behind anywhere. The 150mAh battery inside should last up to eight months and it supports wireless charging (both Qi and Qi2). If you have a MagSafe charger you can also stick it to that. Shaped like a Toblerone to ensure it's compatible with as many pairs of glasses as possible, including Ray-Ban Meta's AI pairs and those slightly odd 'extended reality' ones, you can choose from three colours: black, sand and desert rose. When your glasses aren't inside, it also folds down flat to make it easier to carry around. The case will set you back £40/$50 and Satechi's FindAll range also includes a luggage tag, a keychain, and a Tile-style card for slipping into your wallet.

Satechi's new SSD enclosure matches the Mac Mini

Satechi has announced a new SSD enclosure with an aluminum design that matches the black and silver finish and dimensions of Apple's Mac Mini M4, but thinner so it can perch atop the tiny desktop computer or be used as a matching stand. But since it connects using an included braided USB-C cable, the enclosure is compatible with any device that supports external storage drives. The USB4 Slim NVMe SSD Enclosure looks familiar to Satechi's Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub that launched last January for $99.99, but is $20 more expensive at $119.99, available now through its online store. Both can be used to expand the storage of the Mac Mini M4 using an SSD, but while the Stand & Hub accessory offers slightly more functionality with extra USB ports and an SD card reader, Satechi's new enclosure offers much faster transfer speeds. The enclosure is compatible with all but the largest NVMe SSD sizes — 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 — and supports capacities ranging from 1TB to 8TB. Satechi's Stand & Hub offers transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, but the USB4 Slim NVMe SSD Enclosure pushes that to 40Gbps, assuming the device you're connecting to also supports USB4. If it doesn't, the enclosure is backwards compatible, and you'll just see slower transfer speeds. You can insert an SSD by removing the bottom of the enclosure after giving it a short twist, which also reveals a storage compartment for the short included USB-C cable. Its minimalist design also integrates a thermal pad and cooling vents to 'maintain peak performance without thermal throttling.'

You can track Satechi's new glasses case using Apple's Find My network

Satechi has announced four new additions to its FindAll line of trackable accessories, including a collapsible glasses case that increases your chances of finding a misplaced pair of prescription specs or sunglasses. The $49.99 FindAll Glasses Case features a vegan leather exterior paired with a microsuede-lined interior designed to safely store glasses. It folds flat for easier storage while not in use and features a lid with a secure magnetic closure. It communicates with Apple devices over Bluetooth 5.4. Battery life maxes out at around eight months of use, but the case is rechargeable using a wireless charger. Unlike Apple's AirTags, Satechi's FindAll products lack precise UWB-locating capabilities. You may have to do some hunting to find your misplaced glasses at the last place they were detected, but you can trigger a sound to make it slightly easier. Also launching today in black, desert rose, and sand color options are a new FindAll luggage tag, keychain, and slim card that, like the glasses case, can all be tracked using Apple's Find My network. Satechi's $44.99 FindAll Luggage Tag also offers up to eight months of battery and the ability to top it off using a wireless charger. It's made from vegan leather and includes a place to write your contact info that's protected under a privacy flap. While you can hide Apple's AirTags inside your luggage, Satechi's is designed to look like a regular luggage tag hanging on the outside of your bag while hiding its true functionality. The $29.99 FindAll Keychain includes a built-in keyring, wireless charging, and a bump to up to 12 months of battery life between charges. For keeping tabs on a wallet, the $34.99 FindAll Card is made from aluminum and tempered glass, and it offers an impressive 16 months of battery life before you need to plop it on a wireless charger. It's also rated IP67 dust and waterproof, so if you accidentally drop your wallet in the toilet, then the card will still be functional after you retrieve it.
