Keep your feet tapping or dancing for Ramsgate
Friends of Ramsgate – both locally and globally – are urged tp support the fun run (or walk) along the scenic Ramsgate Ramble this Saturday (14th).
The Run4Ramsgate campaign is a fundraiser by the Ramsgate Ratepayers' and Residents' Association (RRRA) which is urging everyone to become part of the solution and help transform Ramsgate's main village street.
If you can't walk or run on Saturday – you can donate via – Run4ramsgate SA.
Some R34 000 has already been raised towards the R100 000 goal. All funds will go directly to improving Ramsgate's main village street, managed by the dedicated RRRA team.
On behalf of the team, spokesperson of the association Sarah Unsworth, said it's an exciting opportunity for residents to turn their village street into a vibrant, welcoming space.
'This has been a wonderful team effort, and this run/walk is part of a fun awareness campaign for the greater good. Let's come together and bring this vision to life! Run with us or for us – we need your support to help raise funds for a great cause – our village improvement project.'
Meet at the Ramsgate tidal pool parking at 09:00. The fun run starts at 09:30. Entry fee is R20. Lots of lucky draw prizes to be won.
