CBS' Young NCIS Announcement Wins April Fool's Day — View the Kiddie Cast
April 1 is always a good day to remember Gibbs' Rule No. 3: 'Don't believe what you are told; double-check.'
There are still a few hours left for this April Fool's Day, but I feel confident in declaring the 'winner' (among teasing TV shows and stars) to be the announcement that Young NCIS is 'coming soon to CBS.'

The goof came complete with a cast reveal of kiddos that correspond to current NCIS cast members Diona Reasonover, Katrina Law, Sean Murray, Gary Cole, Wilmer Valderrama, Rocky Carroll and Brian Dietzen.
'This fall, there's no case too small,' the official NCISverse Instagram account announced. '#YoungNCIS is coming soon to a TV near you.👏🧒 '
And lest there be any doubt that this prequel spinoff was faux, confirmation was found in the accompany hashtags: '#NewSeries #NCIS #NCISverse #AprilFools #TV #YoungSheldon #WhatToWatch'

Among the actual NCIS cast who weighed in on the online prank, Law commented, 'I 100% believed' in the Instagram reveal, while Reasonover replied with an apt, 'Omg.'
The still-active Instagram account for Young Sheldon, the clear inspiration for Young NCIS (font and all), meanwhile inquired, 'Are you casting? 👀'
Placing a distant second to Young NCIS was Shark Tank vet Barbara Corcoran's Tuesday-morning sharing of the 'BIG NEWS' that she had gone in for her fourth career facelift, to 'look 25 again,' and 'boy was it worth it.'
Which pop culture-related April Fool's Day prank earned high marks in book?
