Second person dies after motorbike crash

A woman in her 60s, who was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, suffered serious injuries after the incident on the A36 in Knook, Wiltshire, on Saturday. A36 crash: Family pay tribute to 'adored' motorcyclist who died in collision

A motorcyclist who died in a crash involving a car and three other motorbikes was travelling to France for "his next adventure", his family Best was described by his family as "loved and adored by all who knew him".The 62-year-old was fatally injured when a car collided with the four motorcycles on the A36 in Knook, Wiltshire, at about 10:30 BST on a tribute, his family added: "His loss will leave a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He had an impact on so many lives and will continue to live on in our memories." Three other people seriously injured in the crash remain in hospital, Wiltshire Police said. Mr Best was described as a keen adventurer, having travelled to the Empire State Building in New York to celebrate his 60th birthday and gone scuba diving in Mauritius. "He dedicated his life to being a good husband, father, son, brother and friend," his family said."Rob and his friend from his local scooter club were on their way for their next adventure to Normandy when the tragedy happened."He leaves behind his extensive family and friends, all of whom are devastated by his loss."Mr Best's family thanked other motorists who stopped to support him and his friends after the collision and asked for privacy.
