The Inbetweeners star took to her Instagram page to share a carousel of photos taken throughout the first year of his life. The first photo showed little Barney sleeping on Emily's chest shortly after she gave birth to him. The 35-year-old and her boyfriend Alistair Garner welcomed Barney James Garner into the world last June, and paying tribute to him, she said: "Happy 1st birthday to our son Barney James Garner. The Baby Barn Owl. I've dreamt of you my whole life. It was always you. I love you beyond words, our beautiful, BEAUTIFUL boy. You are so cherished my heart could burst." Emily shared mirror selfies from when she was pregnant, snaps of her and her partner opening baby presents as well as pictures of her and Alistair cuddling the little one. Emily usually keeps her love life out of the public eye, but previously opened up about her romance with Alistar, whom she began dating in 2023. Talking to The Times, Emily admitted to feeling 'lonely' before finding love with Alistair. She said: "I feel like my whole life had been building up to that moment, not just getting a part in that show, but also my personal life. It feels like the stars have aligned. That is genuinely how it feels."

Four-star DJ Williams shuts down recruitment after Louisville commitment
DJ Williams has come off the board. The Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day star, who plays both ways on Friday nights, will play his college football in the ACC. "Louisville is going to win out," Williams told Rivals. "It's definitely the connections I've made there so far, with Coach (Deion) Branch and Coach (Mark) Ivey. Coach Ivey has been pursuing me since I was pretty much an incoming freshman, so that connection has been extremely strong since Day One. Advertisement "The vibes I get from them are way plan they have for things, the structure is truly remarkable." The four-star took an official visit to Louisville to kick off the month of June, before trips elsewhere, yet UofL ran away with the recruitment over the last travel stop. "I really knew after last weekend," Williams said. "As we were going back home, my family and I sat down at the airport and talked about the pros and cons. From Coach Branch being an extremely great person and teacher, he does a tremendous job and he was in the NFL, won a Super Bowl MVP. He always has my back. "He sees himself in me and has been giving me key pointers to work on going into my senior season." "I've always wanted to be on the offensive end," he said. "It was kind of a no-brainer for me. I will be their vertical, deep go-to guy. It's crazy to think about, especially hearing from Coach (Jeff) Brohm, the offensive guru." Ole Miss, Miami and many others worked on Williams' recruitment for some time, but the remainder of his visits are to be cancelled going forward. Advertisement "We're shutting it down," he said. "It feels amazing. A lot of the stress has pretty much gone away, now I can relax, be myself and have a great senior year. "I'm ready to work and get this thing going." Louisville's top-20 recruiting class now features four Rivals four-stars within it, as Williams joins fellow Floridian Jaydin Broadnax among the highest-rated recruits to pledge to the Cardinals to date. Three Predictions: Alabama, Louisville, Rivals Five-Star
Jeff McCulloch/ Rivals national recruiting analyst John Garcia Jr. has predictions on an SEC program going on a strong run in recruiting, Louisville adding a surprise commitment and an unexpected headliner at the Rivals Five-Star. Advertisement RIVALS FIVE-STAR EVENT: Roster | Big Ten programs in the spotlight | SEC programs in the spotlight | Key QB storylines | Key RB storylines | Key WR storylines | Key TE storylines | Key OL storylines | Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy MORE PREDICTIONS: Rivals Five-Star, Illinois, Oregon CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State THE ALABAMA RUN HAS JUST BEGUN With a big quarterback flip of Elite 11 recruit and blue-chipper Jett Thomalla, Alabama is poised to go on one of the nation's biggest runs in the middle of the summer months. Official visit windows wrap up this week and it coincides with plenty of big fish the Crimson Tide are chasing relative to visits and/or commitment windows. Advertisement Among them are five-stars Cederian Morgan, Jireh Edwards and Tank Jones, with Morgan and Jones being in-state targets. Throw in running back Ezavier Crowell and fellow Yellowhammer State native Xavier Griffin inching closer to decisions, and the foundation of Kalen DeBoer's next great class in Tuscaloosa would appear all but set. Alabama should be on the plus side of more of these decisions than not. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ALABAMA FANS AT DJ WILLIAMS SURPRISES WITH LOUISVILLE COMMITMENT With Ole Miss grabbing the final official visit of DJ Williams' June tour, there has been some buzz for the Rebels to strike with the two-way talent. But as the decision date draws closer, it's the first official visit destination that may have set the bar so high others could not catch up. Advertisement Williams began his visits at Louisville the very first open official visit window of June and the offensive-minded staff views him as a game-breaking pass catcher at the next level. Word is Williams prefers to play wide receiver and that is one of the reasons the Cardinals now go into the announcement window as the program to beat. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH LOUISVILLE FANS AT A 2028 PROSPECT WILL STEAL THE SHOW AT THE RIVALS FIVE-STAR The Rivals Five-Star is just days away from kicking off in Indianapolis and throughout the preview content we've built up at Rivals, there is an intriguing name that continues to pop up – Eric McFarland. The athlete has chops at both running back and wide receiver, and he has become one of the stars of the college football recruiting offseason with his blistering production at various events. This will be the most competitive to date, but McFarland has risen to every challenge sent his way thus far, so it's foolish to assume he would slow down despite the dozens of fellow blue-chip recruits that will line up on the other side of the ball with hopes to. The IMG Academy product will be the talk of the event by dinner time on June 24.

Oklahoma 2026 QB target shines at Elite 11 finals
While Oklahoma's quarterback situation remains a mystery in the 2026 recruiting class, one of their targets is having a week at the Elite 11 Finals in California. Four-star quarterback and Oklahoma Sooners target, Bowe Bentley, has performed well at the Elite 11 finals and earned the distinction of top performer from night two by Rivals recruiting expert Adam Gorney. Down to Oklahoma and LSU, Bentley delivered arguably the best performance of the night. What we loved the most is that the Celina, Texas four-star was firing the ball on most throws, really spinning it and getting it there with purpose. He was good throwing from the pocket, escaping pressure, resetting and getting it out and hitting receivers on every kind of route. It was a really strong, impressive showing that showed off a range of skills. - Gorney, Rivals In addition to Gorney's praise, Bentley earned high praise from 247Sports recruiting analysts Andrew Ivins and Tom Loy, who lauded Bentley's intermediate passing ability. Charles Power of On3 liked what he saw from Bentley and said he was 18 of 20 on his throws. Bentley is an incredible dual-threat quarterback. He can throw to all levels and has the athleticism and speed to create big plays with his legs. He's drawn some comparisons to Oklahoma starting quarterback John Mateer after an undefeated season for Celina. In his junior season, Bentley threw for 3,211 yards and 47 touchdowns and ran for 923 yards and 16 more scores on the ground. Advertisement The Oklahoma Sooners are working to secure a commitment from Bentley. Both OU and LSU hosted Bentley for an official visit in the last month, and both schools feel like they're in a strong position to earn his pledge.
