Tom Hardy surprises gobsmacked parents at Crawley high school sports day
Kids at a Crawley high school – and not to mention their mothers – got the surprise of their lives today when none other than Tom Hardy rocked up to join their sports day. The Revenant actor, 47, decided to dip into the fun at Oriel High School's sports day at K2 Leisure Centre in the West Sussex town, and snaps were taken of the unlikely moment. The pictures, posted on This is Crawley's Facebook page, show the Hammersmith-born actor wearing glasses and a grey vest top, with his tattoo-laden arms on show. Two men and two women, all dressed up for the sports day occasion with matching t-shirts, grinned at either side of the world-famous actor. Naturally, the comments section lit up, with many local women joking that they are immediately joining the K2 gym. 'I've never wanted to move back home and join a gym so much in my life!' said Claire Lesson. Maxine Harrison said: 'Might have to go collect my son from sports day now…..2 hours early!!' 'Was making a pit stop on his way to mine,' joked Kim Pullen, while Romana Branch simply said: 'Starting to look like Gary Liniker.' Unluckily for all Tom's enthusiastic fans, the Mad Max actor is very much settled down with his wife of 11 years, Charlotte Riley. The couple welcomed two children together – born in 2015 and 2019 – though they are kept very much out of the public eye. Tom also shares his eldest child, Louis Thomas, 17, with his ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed. It was previously reported that in 2018 Tom and Charlotte moved out of London to enjoy a more private life in the Surrey countryside. Before the move – reportedly due to fears over a stalker – the pair were living in a Richmond house, reported to be worth £3.5million. Speaking to Esquire magazine at the time, he said of London life: 'If someone takes a photo of my kids, all bets are off. I will take the camera off you and beat the f***ing s**t out of you.' He added that when he walks around London he knows he sticks out like a sore thumb. 'It's like spotting a giraffe walking down the street. I get it. I can see people's behaviour, I can see when a camera's coming, I can see when a phone is moving, I can see people's body language,' he said. 'There is no difference between that and a hyper-vigilance. It's just odd. But [pictures of my] kids are a f***ing no. They really are. And that's what really bothers me, and it will fast-track me immediately to respond like any father in any situation, regardless of where they come from and what they've been through.' 'Being a father has given me the kind of purpose that makes you think more carefully about how you live your life,' he said. 'I made a lot of mistakes, and I put my mum and dad through a lot because they were so worried about me. How to unlock A Champion's Path trophy in Elden Ring Nightreign?
If you're trying to unlock one of the hardest achievements in Elden Ring Nightreign, then A Champion's Path will be your biggest challenge. This isn't just about beating a powerful boss. You need to master every playable character in the game. That means time, effort and most likely, a few friends to back you up. Defeat one Nightlord eight times The Night devours the reckless. Only the honed edge of mastery shall strike it our dedicated #ELDENRING #NIGHTREIGN advanced tips article: To unlock A Champion's Path, you must defeat the same Nightlord eight times. Each time, you must use a different Nightfarer. These are the playable characters in the game, including names like Duchess and Revenant. If you have not unlocked all the Nightfarers yet, that will be your first step before you can begin. It does not matter which Nightlord you pick. You can choose any one of them, but you must face the same one for all eight runs. You will also need to play each run yourself. If your friends use a different character, that will not count towards your progress. Only your own character choices matter. Team up with skilled players This challenge is not easy to do alone. You should try to play with two other friends who know how the Nightlords fight. They can help deal damage and support you while you focus on playing with each new character. The more your team understands the boss fights, the smoother your runs will be. On the dawn of the fifth day, 3.5 million Nightfarers took up arms against the Night in #ELDENRING # are ever grateful for your passion. Before starting the full challenge, take some time to practise with all the Nightfarers. Each one has different weapons, skills and fighting styles. You do not want to go into battle using a character you do not understand. Practise makes a big difference when you are trying to complete eight clean runs. Get the achievement after all eight wins Once you defeat your chosen Nightlord with every character, the trophy will unlock. You must also complete the related expedition each time for the win to count. This means going through the full battle and finishing the objective at the end of each run. How to unlock Duchess and Revenant classes in Elden Ring: Nightreign
As a multiplayer spinoff, Elden Ring: Nightreign changes up the formula from the original game in some major ways. Besides the shifting world and focus on playing with friends, the biggest change is that you no longer make your own unique character. Now, you will choose from a selection of classes to embody on any given run that each have their own skills, attributes, and starting gear. Six are available from the start, but the Duchess and Revenant are locked. These are two of the more unique options in Elden Ring: Nightreign and should be your priority to make sure you can have the best team composition. Here's how to unlock each class. Recommended Videos Difficulty Moderate Duration 1 hour What You Need Get the Old Pocketwatch Purchase the Besmnirched Frame How to unlock the Duchess class Of the two locked classes in Elden Ring: Nightreign, you have to unlock the Duchess first. Thankfully, you almost can't avoid performing most of the required steps, but there are a few obtuse moments we can guide you through. Step 1: Beat the first Nightlord boss while doing the Tricephalos Expedition. This is the default expedition that you will be doing first anyway. Step 2: When you beat the boss, you will get an Old Pocketwatch item. Some players have reported getting it even when they died fighting the boss and not beating it, so you may only need to reach the boss and not actually win. Step 3: Back at the Roundtable Hold, visit the Priestess and choose to "Show her the old pocketwatch. and watch the cutscene. Step 4: The Priestess will reveal that she is actually the Duchess and unlock the class in the character selection screen. How to unlock the Revenant class Once you've unlocked the Duchess you can move on to unlocking the Revenant. This class is easier to unlock, but very easy to miss. Step 1: In the Roundtable Hold, pay a visit to the Small Jar Bazaar. Step 2: From the list of items, purchase the Besmirched Frame for 1,500 Murk. Step 3: Go to the east wing and find a phantom that has appeared. Step 4: Interact with her to get teleported back to the tutorial area where you will fight the Revenant and three summons. Step 5: Win the fight and you will unlock the class. If you fail, you are free to try again as many times as it takes.
