Coca-Cola Beverages Florida Celebrates 10 Years of Growth, Innovation and Community Impact
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) proudly celebrated its 10-year anniversary on May 29, 2025. This milestone represents a decade of the company's growth, innovation, and commitment to local Florida communities. Founded in 2015, Coke Florida began its sales and distribution operations in central Florida and acquired north and south Florida operations within 22 months. Today, the family-owned company operates in an exclusive territory that spans from Jacksonville to the Florida Keys. This operating footprint allows the company to serve over 21 million consumers and the 140 million visitors who visit Florida each year. 'From the first truck that rolled out of our Tampa facility on May 30, 2015 to today, I am immensely proud of our growth, success, and contributions over the past decade,' said Troy Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Coke Florida. 'When we set out on this journey, we never said we wanted to be the biggest bottler in the country; we said we wanted to be the best. I often share that our two biggest assets are our brands and our people, and I truly believe that we have the best beverage brands in the world and the best team at Coke Florida. We have big plans for the future, and we're just getting started.' The company invests heavily in its infrastructure throughout the state, creating jobs and economic activity in local communities. Since its inception, Coke Florida has built a new facility in St. Petersburg, and purchased and expanded facilities in Jacksonville, Orlando, Ocala, Sarasota, and Winter Haven. Most recently, the company completed a new 800,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Distribution Center with a 250,000 square foot fleet maintenance facility in Tampa Bay. Coke Florida has also scaled its delivery capabilities by greatly expanding and diversifying its fleet, and today is recognized by Transport Topics as the 8 th largest private beverage fleet in the U.S. As a locally owned and operated company, Coke Florida is committed to the communities it serves. Three pillars guide the company's community engagement: Sustainability, Education, and Economic Empowerment. Sustainability programs include the planting of 600,000 trees and native species over the years, a partnership with USF Stavros Center to offer the Sustainability Superheroes program which trains teachers on sustainability practices, and providing hundreds of rain barrels and rain barrel workshops to support water stewardship. Coke Florida's focus on providing educational resources where they are needed most is demonstrated through partnerships with local community organization such as Boys & Girls Clubs, The Skills Center and Big Brothers Big Sisters. The company sponsors annual backpack donations, invests in laptops and technology lab resources, hosts digital skills training workshops, and in 2023 established a 10-year, $2.8M Coke Florida Refreshing Minds Scholarship℠ program, which provides two-year and four-year, full-tuition scholarships to deserving students in economically challenged communities. Continuing the goal of enabling communities, the company annually supports Habitat for Humanity. Over the past ten years, it has built 19 homes, contributed more than $1.5M, and has provided more than 3,600 volunteer hours. Coke Florida was named a 2025 US Best Managed Company by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has received this recognition and the achievement of the Gold Standard Winner.
