Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain's Saanand Verma: It's the biggest compliment for an actor when fans copy his dialogue
While TV shows and films may come and go, iconic dialogues stay with us for a much longer time, says actor Saanand Verma . The actor, who is known for his show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and has been part of films such as Raid, Mardaani and Chhichhore, says that he loves it when his fans recreate his dialogues. 'I remember I used to say Gabbar Singh's dialogues a lot. My father would often tell me, 'Come on, say Gabbar Singh's dialogue.' And I would say it at least 10 times a day, 'Kitne aadmi the?' That was the fun of it. When an actor performs, he does it with emotions and feelings. That's how he connects with common people. And when that connection happens, people enjoy it and even try to imitate it. So many kids say 'I like it,' so many people say ' Wah Beta, tum goo khake hi maanoge,' and many say 'who's your daddy. ' This is a big compliment for any actor when fans copy something of theirs, enjoy it, and have fun. What more could an actor want in life? I feel very lucky that this is happening to me,' he says. As for feedback, the actor says that he really loves it when he gets feedback from his mom. 'It really matters to me that my mother likes my work. My mother watches Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain very regularly on &TV at 10:30 pm, and she feels very happy and proud of me. My sister also watches all my work, and we discuss everything in detail. She is herself a very good actor, so she also guides me and shares her views. It gives me a lot of peace and happiness when my own people watch my work and we have these discussions. It feels so good when they feel proud of me,' he says. Appreciation is very important, but social media comments can sometimes be negative too, he says, adding, 'I don't think I have been trolled. And even if I have, I don't really know about it. Earlier, I used to read comments and even reply to them. But now, because of a lack of time and also because sometimes there is negativity and some strange people say odd things. I don't focus on comments anymore. So I really don't know if I've been trolled or not. And even if I have, it's okay. If not, that's okay too. The main thing is, when you are in public life and millions of people watch your work, it's not necessary that everyone will support you or praise you. If you enjoy hearing praise, you should also be ready for criticism. An artist can't always expect appreciation. Sometimes you have to face criticism, too. I'm not afraid of it. I just try to do my work with all my heart. And if someone trolls me, let them. I even pray for them, may God keep them happy. I have no enmity with anyone. I'm friends with all, enemies with none.' Talking about his upcoming track in the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, he says, 'In my upcoming track in Bhabi Ji, the light moment is that I want to fulfil a big dream of mine. I want lightning to strike me from the sky, and I want my whole body to turn blue because of it. For this, I've even made a device that I carry around and keep saying, 'Let there be lighting! Let there be light!' So this is going to be a very fun and interesting track that is coming soon. ' Keep reading this space for more updates.

Raid 2 OTT Premiere: When And Where To Watch Ajay Devgn's Latest Film Online
Last Updated: Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 to stream on Netflix from June 27. Here's everything you need to know about the film's OTT release, cast, plot, and more. After its theatrical run earlier this year, Raid 2 is now set to make its way to the digital space. The sequel to the 2018 sleeper hit Raid will begin streaming on Netflix starting June 27, 2025, offering viewers a gripping dive back into the world of white-collar crime, corruption, and high-stakes justice. Headlined once again by Ajay Devgn as the stoic and relentless IRS officer Amay Patnaik, Raid 2 draws inspiration from the real-life 1980s income tax raid on businessman Sardar Inder Singh — one of the longest and most sensational raids in Indian history. While the film hit theatres on May 1, reactions from critics and audiences have been mixed, with praise for its performances and real-world relevance, and some critique around its pacing and narrative execution. Taking over the female lead duties from Ileana D'Cruz is Vaani Kapoor, who stars opposite Devgn in this installment. The film also features Riteish Deshmukh in a key role, adding further star power to the ensemble. Much like its predecessor, Raid 2 focuses on the cat-and-mouse game between the taxman and those trying to game the system — only this time, the stakes are higher and the opposition even more powerful. Devgn reprises his role as Amay Patnaik, an upright Indian Revenue Service officer who won't back down, no matter how influential his targets may be. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the original, the film is written by Ritesh Shah, Jaideep Yadav, Karan Vyas, and Gupta himself. Backed by Panorama Studios and T-Series, the production boasts a strong lineup of producers including Abhishek Pathak, Pragya Singh, Krishan Kumar, Gaurav Nanda, Bhushan Kumar, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. For fans of investigative thrillers rooted in reality, Raid 2 promises an intense watch. And for those who missed it in theatres, the Netflix premiere on June 27 is a date to mark. Raid 2 Opened To Strong Numbers At The Indian Box Office, Despite Competition From Regional Biggies Raid 2 kicked off with a bang, collecting Rs 19.25 crore net on its opening day in India. This equates to a gross collection of Rs 194.50 crore. Positive word-of-mouth and a tight narrative ensured Raid 2 held its ground in theaters. For a mid-budget film, this is a commendable result. The film's success is particularly notable in the post-pandemic era, where audience turnout for Bollywood films has been unpredictable. Brand Ajay Devgn Shines On Ajay Devgn deserves applause for his stellar post-pandemic theatrical run. After delivering hits like Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan, he has once again proven his box office mettle with Raid 2. Even Singham Again, despite its underperformance, netted Rs 240 crore in India.
