Rag'n'Bone Man joins Celebrity Gogglebox
Rag'n'Bone Man has joined the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox. The 40-year-old musician is set to star alongside Romesh Ranganathan on the Channel 4 show this summer. In a promotional video ahead of their Gogglebox debuts, Romesh said: "Hello, I'm Romesh and this is Rory. "We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren't we?" Rag'n'Bone Man - whose real name is Rory Graham - then said: "Yes we are, this Friday at 9pm." Rag'n'Bone Man has already enjoyed huge success as a musician, after being named the British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards back in 2017. However, his upcoming appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox will mark his first foray into the world of reality TV. The Human hitmaker previously admitted that he's struggled to cope with the pressures of fame. He told BBC 5 Live: "I'm quite a private person. I have a small group of friends and I don't like massive crowds. "I couldn't describe something that I felt more uncomfortable with than being on a red carpet and having people shouting at you and taking pictures of you. And then having to go to an after-party where you're paraded around as the new thing. "I remember closing my eyes at one point and wishing that one of my mates would come and rescue me. It just doesn't suit me." Earlier this month, meanwhile, Jamie Laing and Munya Chawawa were confirmed as part of the Celebrity Gogglebox line-up. Jamie admitted at the time that he was looking forward to being part of the hit TV show. The 36-year-old star - who first found fame on Made in Chelsea - said: "I usually watch Googlebox with Sophie, my wife, so Munya is taking her place this week! "I love Gogglebox, so it's been a brilliant experience to be a part of. When Munya came onto my podcast last year, we had a brilliant chat, and now we're watching TV together - what could be better?" Prior to that, Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay, Vicky Pattison and Pete Wicks, and Jennifer Saunders and Beattie Edmondson were announced as being part of the Celebrity Gogglebox line-up.

Chart-topping pop star joins Celebrity Gogglebox in first ever reality TV gig joined by beloved comedian - and the pair hit screens tomorrow
A chart-topping pop star has joined Celebrity Gogglebox for their first ever reality TV gig, joined by a beloved comedian - with the pair hitting screens tomorrow. Singer Rag'n'Bone Man is teaming up with comedian Romesh Ranganathan on the popular Channel 4 reality show, with the pair's first episode set to air tomorrow night. The star-studded spin-off from the original programme, which launched in 2013, sees the cast of UK notables react to the week's biggest telly moments from their sofas. And the singer, 40, whose real name is Rory Graham, and the TV host, 47, are the latest to join their number. Four-time platinum-certified artist Rag'n'Bone Man, who has won three Brit Awards, is best known for his first hit single Human and his debut album named after it. Romesh, meanwhile, can be seen fronting The Weakest Link, presenting on BBC Radio 2 and in his long-time comedy partnership with fellow funny man Rob Beckett. He made a light-hearted video with Rag'n'Bone Man to announce their upcoming appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, the latest series of which began earlier this month. A deadpan Romesh addressed the camera: 'Hello, I'm Romesh and this is Rory. 'We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren't we?' Rag'n'Bone Man replied, ahead of his reality TV debut: 'Yes, we are, this Friday at 9pm.' The pair are the latest to take to their sofa for Celebrity Gogglebox, which first launched back in 2019. For the latest series, darts legend Luke Littler has also joined the programme, along with his friend, the YouTuber known as Angry Ginge. Meanwhile, beloved celebrity pairings returning for the current series include radio presenter Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, as well as the Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder and Bez. It comes after returning cast member, presenter Rylan Clark, revealed editors of Celebrity Gogglebox had to cut some 'career-ending' conversations from his appearances on the show with his mum, Linda. The star, aged 36, first rose to fame during his 2012 participation on The X Factor. He has since continued to fly while hosting shows including Big Brother's Bit on the Side, Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, This Morning and more recently, Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour, with Judge Robert Rinder. Fans of Celebrity Gogglebox have enjoyed seeing a more unfiltered side of Rylan on the programme, including plenty of wise cracks at his mum's expense. The pair quickly became a fan favourite due to their zingy banter and no-holds-barred commentary. But appearing on This Morning last week, the pair admitted there are plenty of sofa conversations that do not make it to air. Conversations between them can push the boundaries the mother-son duo often have to implore editors to make cuts. 'When he mucks about', Linda explained: 'I go, "Please don't put that bit in!"' 'We're lucky the editors clearly like us', Rylan added: 'Because the stuff they've had to cut out is career-ending… We're like, "Yeah, can we not use that please?!"' Rylan, and Linda, 72, have featured on the celebrity edition of the Channel 4 hit since it started back in 2019. Many fans have come to adore them, calling for them to have their own spin-off show.

Robbie Williams, 51, rocks a biker jacket as he films dramatic scenes for his latest music video in London
Robbie Williams was spotted filming his latest music video in London ahead of his mega 2025 tour on Friday. The Take That star, 51, lit up parts of London as he belted out his latest track Rocket, while surrounded by cameras and curious fans. Dressed to impress and full of energy, Robbie looked confident as he strutted around the city, ready to relaunch himself to the top of the charts. The pop icon sports red tartan trousers for the outing, along with and a statement leather jacket, which featured some funky graffiti and badges. Underneath he wore a black and white graphic T-shirt and finished off the bold look with a pair of dark sunglasses, monochrome trainers and an array of chunky silver rings. In one scene Robbie had a host of backing dancers behind him who were dramatically waving their arms around as they followed the rocker with a huge speaker. In another scene, Robbie stood beside a live band belting out his new tune. The new single drops just weeks before he hits the stage headlining Edinburgh's Gas Murrayfield Stadium on May 31, London's Emirates Stadium on June 6, and Manchester's Co-Op Live on June 11. The UK leg will also include a date at Bath's Royal Crescent on June 13 and the star will be supported by Rag'n'Bone Man and Lottery Winners. Keeping up his cheeky chappie persona, Robbie couldn't contain his excitement about his upcoming tour, as he walked around with a sandwich board with the words 'Robbie Williams tour amazingly tickets still available' on one side and 'Let me entertain you' on the other. The singer was mobbed by beloved fans who watched on with adoration as he walked around the streets followed by his dancers and camera crew. Fans looked thrilled as Robbie took time out during the filming to pose for pictures with them. When he announced the tour last year, the Rock DJ hitmaker boasted: 'This tour is going to be my boldest yet - I can't wait to see you next year. 'There will be songs from the movie 'Better Man' and some new music too…but more on that soon. RW.' Keeping up his cheeky chappie persona, Robbie couldn't contain his excitement about his upcoming tour, as he walked around with a sandwich board with the words 'Robbie Williams tour amazingly tickets still available' on one side and 'Let me entertain you' on the other Robbie also revealed he had 'written loads of songs' and is feeling more 'ambitious' than ever. Last year he told Virgin Radio: 'I've got loads of plans. I've written loads of songs, I've got my film [Better Man] at the end of this year and I'm doing Hyde Park in the summer. 'I have never been busier, I've never been as ambitious as I am right now. I am full of purpose, and I am loving life.' It comes after the singer opened up with his fans about how he struggles being recognised and asked for selfies when out and about. The singer took to Instagram as he recounted how he had been asked for multiple photos on a recent flight as he admitted requests for selfies cause him discomfort and panic. Robbie explained that while he can mask it well, he urged fans to consider what else could be going on for him in the moment as he made the point he is a normal man with a family. Discussing the flight he pointed out he had had little sleep and was trying to look after his four children, and one selfie would undoubtedly trigger more as it would alert people as to who he was. He explained that one fan had passed him a 'lovely note', praising his Netflix documentary that detailed his struggles with fame. Robbie then decided to write back as he explained a selfie would cause his anxiety to 'spike, because then the whole cabin would start wondering who I am'. Revealing that more notes and requests for photos then followed he dived into a discussion on being a celebrity and the pressures that come with it. He explained: 'There's a kind of unspoken law: as a celebrity, you should be accessible 24/7. 'Greet all strangers like you're the mayor of the best town anyone's ever visited. Make sure their wishes are met, whatever they are.' Yet Robbie stressed that celebrities are normal humans like the rest of us as he added, many are 'fans of fame, not necessarily of me'. He wrote: 'What I am saying is - let people be people. Humans struggling - like we all are - in one way or another.' The star urged fans to give celebrities the 'dignity of their privacy, their wants, their needs', as he could be 'on the phone with my mum, talking about her dementia or thinking about my dad's Parkinson's'.
