Samyuktha joins Vijay Sethupathi, Puri Jagannadh's next project
New Delhi [India], June 18 (ANI): Actress Samyuktha has joined the cast of Puri Jagannadh's upcoming directorial film. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The makers have not revealed the title of the film yet. Taking to his Instagram handle, director Jagannadh announced the arrival of Samyuktha in his upcoming film. The film is being produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under their banner, Puri Connects. He wrote, 'Grace in her stride. Fire in her eyes. Welcoming the stunning @iamsamyuktha_ on board into the electrifying world of #PuriSethupathi.' The untitled Puri-Sethupathi next big project also stars Bollywood actress Tabu in the lead role. The makers announced her arrival by sharing the actress's photo with the director and producer of the film. Taking to their Instagram handle, the makers wrote, 'She's electric. She's explosive. She's the Tabu. Proudly welcoming the gem of Indian cinema, actress Tabu, on board for a role as dynamic as her presence in #PuriSethupathi.' More details about Tabu's role have yet to be revealed. Fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates on the actress's role in the movie. Meanwhile, Tabu will next be seen in the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. Bhooth Bangla marks the reunion of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after a long gap. The duo has previously given blockbuster films such as Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, among others. The film will also see a reunion of Akshay and Tabu after 25 years. The two were last seen together in Hera Pheri. Bhooth Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films. (ANI)

Actress Samyuktha has officially joined the cast as the female lead. Actress excited to join star-studded cast According to a report by Telugu Cinema, Samyuktha is said to be quite excited about her role in the upcoming film. Sources close to the production reveal that the actress is impressed with the story and her character arc, and is eager to dive into shoot mode as the team prepares to go on floors. Samyuktha has been part of large-scale projects which include 'Akhanda 2' and 'Swayambhu'. The movie's possible titles The movie is currently being named '#PuriSethupathi' and it's yet to be officially titled. There are some names which are being considered for the film, they include 'Bhavati Bhiksham Dehi' and 'Beggar'. With the given rumoured title to be suggested, there is speculation that Vijay Sethupathi might be playing the role of a beggar in this gritty, potentially intense drama. The cast also includes some of the biggest names from the film fraternity. Bollywood's highly rated actress Tabu is said to be playing a key role in the film and she is also joined by Kannada actor Duniya Vijay Kumar. Speaking of the film's production status, the makers recently wrapped up a detailed location recce across Hyderabad and Chennai. After locking in multiple shoot locations, the crew is now gearing up to begin principal photography. The regular shoot is expected to commence in the last week of June.

Kannada actor Duniya Vijay roped in for Puri Jagannadh's film with Vijay Sethupathi
The makers of ace director 's upcoming film with actor on Monday welcomed Kannada actor Duniya Vijay onboard the project. Puri Connects , the production firm of director Puri Jagannadh and actress Charmme Kaur -- which is producing the film, on Monday took to its X timeline to welcome the Kannada star. Team #PuriSethupathi proudly welcomes the sandalwood dynamo, Actor #VijayKumar @OfficialViji on-board for an electrifying role that will leave everyone spellbound. A #PuriJagannadh Film starring Makkalselvan @VijaySethuOffl #Tabu. Produced by Puri Jagannadh, @Charmmeofficial @puriconnects @IamVishuReddy." Interestingly, the makers had got fans to guess who the next actor to come onboard would be before making the actual announcement. At around noon on Monday, the production house tweeted, "Vijay Sethupathi, ... Next??? Keep guessing the next POWERHOUSE PERFORMER joining this MASTERPIECE PROJECT #PuriSethupathi Next On-Board Announcement at 4 PM Today." At 4 pm, they announced Duniya Vijay's name. It may be recalled that the unit has already welcomed actress Tabu to the project. Sources in the know say that Tabu is set to essay a pivotal role in the film. The actress, who is known for her selective roles, was immediately drawn to the character and the compelling storyline, which led her to give her consent to be a part of this project. Watch!
