New non-invasive treatment for incontinence 'offering hope'
A new treatment is offering hope to millions of people suffering with bladder issues, in time for World Continence Week (16–22 June). The UK-first electromagnetic chair uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles. In just one 28-minute session, it delivers the equivalent of 11,000 Kegel exercises, and users stay fully clothed while they sit in the chair. Bladder problems affect more than 14 million people in the UK, that's around 1 in 4 adults. 'Bladder issues can destroy confidence, relationships, and quality of life,' says Nurse Practitioner Joolia Gilvey from The Clinic Norwich. Supramax changes everything.
