But once in a while comes a film comes that wins the hearts of the audience like no other, remains etched in the memory of the audience, and resonates for years to come. One such tale is of a film which, unlike many budget films, did not have a glamorous star cast or massive production; rather, it was only led by its powerful storyline that made people laugh with its unique comedy, relatable characters, and witty dialogues. The film that we are talking about is none other than the comedy king Fukrey. It was released in the year 2013 and featured Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Priya Anand, Vishakha Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadha. It's a crazy plot, and each character's funny wit made it a massive hit, and it hit gold at the box office. Despite being made on a humble budget of Rs. 8 crores, it collected 36.5 crores in India. With Fukrey's massive hit, it evolved over the years and became a full-blown franchise. Soon, its second part, Fukrey Returns, came in the year 2017, which took its charm forward. Then, in 2023, Fukrey 3 came, which further cemented the franchise's place in Bollywood comedy history. In a recent post, Pulkit posted a tribute video recalling his 12-year-long journey with Fukrey, calling it a ride filled with laughter, chaos, and brotherhood. He thanked everyone who contributed n the film with the caption saying 'Warning: Nostalgia ahead. 12 sweet years of madness, thank you for the love.' The clip featured heartwarming BTS moments from the sets and the promotional tours of the film, evoking nostalgia among users. And the note – it was all about gratitude for the love that Pulkit received for his portrayal of a Delhi boy in the hit film. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Excel Entertainment, the first film of the cult franchise garnered immense love from fans, paving way for two sequels — Fukrey Returns (2017) and Fukrey 3 (2023). With each installment, the gang returns with an extra dose of entertainment which is sure to leave you in splits. Looking ahead, Pulkit Samrat is set to expand his horizon with his next film Glory – a boxing drama. Additionally, he has Suswagatam Khushamadeed, a cross-cultural romance lined up in his kitty. Fukrey fame Pukit Samrat is all set to venture into OTT sphere with his upcoming sports-action drama, Glory. He will be seen playing the role of a boxer for the first time. The actor who has been keeping his fans updated with the status of his project recently announced the shoot wrap up with a special post. On May 16, Pulkit Samrat posted a series of pictures with the team members of his upcoming sports-action drama film, Glory. The pictures captured joyous moments of him celebrating the shoot wrap of the first season of the show with the cast and crew by cutting cakes. The concluding image in the post was of a cake that had "Glory Season 1 wrap" written on it. He captioned the post with a long note that began by expressing, "GLORY wraps… but the fire doesn't!! What started as a role became a ritual. I bled, bruised, broke.. and somewhere between fists and fatigue, I found Ravi! This wasn't a shoot. It was soul surgery!!"
