Instead of saying he's not gay, he says he's unavailable. Sammy develops a crush on his roommate, and his friend Kat helps him explore it. The development of Sammy's sexuality comes to a head when Sammy is held back a year, Ollie is kicked off the third-year tour, and they're assigned to each other in a tutor/student relationship. Ollie is openly gay, and Sammy is still struggling with his own sexuality. The forced proximity leads Sammy to develop a crush on Ollie. Ollie lies and pretends Sammy isn't his type. There's a whole will-they-won't-they thing for a while until they both admit their feelings and begin dating. The Slutty Little Glasses Trend Is Taking Over Summer
When the trailer was released for Jonathan Bailey's new movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, fans could not stop talking about his character's appearance, particularly the frames sitting upon his face. He kept the conversation going when he wore these shades on Tuesday at the world premiere of the sci-fi action film at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England. Well, it turns out there's a trendy name for this eyewear: slutty little glasses. Yep, you read that right. During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere, Jonathan was asked, "What do you think of fans' reactions to your slutty little glasses?" Jonathan responded, "Slutty little glasses? Are you allowed to say the 'S' word?" "Listen, Blakely Thornton came up with that. So, copyright, where copyright is due." Jonathan was referring to Blakely, the internet personality who describes himself as a "pop culture anthropologist." He coined the term "sluttly little glasses" and even created an Instagram page dedicated to sharing images and videos of men wearing them. The term typically (but not exclusively) refers to trendy thin, wire-frame glasses that give the person wearing them personality. The social media page was filled with a range of male heartthrobs like Pedro Pascal, Ryan Coogler, Chris Evans, Keith Powers, Eric Dane, Jonathan, of course, and more. "I'm thrilled that people having a hormonal explosion linked to optical support," Jonathan continued. "But, I think, yeah, glasses can go a long way. So, let's have the summer of slutty little glasses." But that wasn't the only thing he was hoping to see more of this season. Jonathan is also a big supporter of flip-flops and hats, noting he wears "a cap every day of the year." "I believe feeling confident, feeling cool, is about wearing what you love. I'll just wear my little glasses." Amen! I'm a big fan of the glasses trend, whether you wear them out of necessity or fashion. Modern Family's Aubrey Anderson-Emmons Comes Out As Bi
Great news for the queer agenda: Aubrey Anderson-Emmons just came out as bi! The 18-year-old Modern Family star took to social media with an audio from Season 4 of the show where Gloria says, "You're Vietnamese." "No, I'm not, I'm gay, I'm gay!" Aubrey lip-synched, along with the audio from her childhood self. "Happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe," she added in the caption. Rebel Wilson Almost Disfigured In Freak Accident
Rebel Wilson's got a new movie coming out this Friday, June 20. It's called Bride Hard. (It's not to be confused, of course, with Bridesmaids — or Bachelorette, another wedding-themed movie she's also starred in.) Unlike Bridesmaids and Bachelorette, Bride Hard leans more into action territory — and as Rebel recently revealed in an interview with Access Hollywood, she experienced way more action than she bargained for during filming. In the interview, Rebel revealed that she experienced a pretty scary mishap that resulted in her suffering a "massive injury." Yikes 'In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face,' she said. 'It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was really my last night of shooting. I was like, 'How unlucky can I be?'' Rebel explained that the incident occurred while filming the movie's "last fight sequence," and that there was a "pool of blood" resulting from her injury. Ouch. 'I was freaking out,' she recalled. 'They take an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn't, I would have been permanently disfigured. So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can't tell now, really, you can't tell.' Good lord. Glad she's OK! Looking for more LGBTQ+ or Pride content?
