Ansar Allah condemns US assault on Iran as blatant violation
Sana'a - Saba: The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah condemned and denounced the brutal American aggression and coward that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran and its nuclear facilities. Ansar Allah politician considered in a statement that the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy of it, the American aggression, a blatant aggression against a sovereign state and represents a flagrant violation of all international laws and covenants, a serious escalation and a direct threat to regional and international security and peace. It pointed out that the American aggression against Iran comes in the context of the unlimited criminal support that America provides to the Zionist entity in its crimes against the nation, and comes against the background of Iran's positions in support of the Palestinian cause and support for the movements of jihad and resistance against the Zionist entity. The statement pointed out that the Zionist aggression committed and is still the right to the brothers in Gaza, the crimes of genocide with American support. The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah pointed out that the American aggression against Iran cannot discourage Iran from continuing its liberation jihadist line against America and its wife, Israel, and this cannot be prompted to abandon its support for the Palestinian cause and the movements of jihad and resistance. While Ansar Allah's politician declared standing alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran, leadership, people, and army in the face of the Zionist and American aggression, he called on the peoples of the nation to get out of the state of silence, watching and proceeding with the option of jihad and resistance, one line in the face of the American Zionist arrogance that targets the nation and its sanctities and seeks to impose its direct hegemony over it. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a "decisive" military action against the group. According to Al-Masirah, the Houthi-affiliated news channel, the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah declared, "This aggression will not go unanswered, and our Yemeni armed forces are fully prepared to respond with escalation." The United States conducted multiple airstrikes earlier on Saturday, hitting several locations in Houthi-controlled Sanaa. Reports indicate that at least nine people were killed in the attacks. Following the strikes, President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. had launched a "powerful and decisive military action" against the Houthis. In a social media post, he warned, "We will use overwhelming lethal force until we achieve our goal." His statement was quoted by Agence France-Presse (AFP). Houthi Naval Blockade in the Red Sea This escalation comes amid growing tensions in the Red Sea. On Tuesday, the Houthis announced the continuation of their naval blockade, restricting all Israeli-linked ships from passing through specific regions, including the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden. The group stated that the blockade will remain in place as long as Israel continues to obstruct the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
