Bryce Dallas Howard had a huge crush on Colin Hanks
Bryce Dallas Howard had "a really big crush" on Colin Hanks. The Jurassic World star has revealed she was smitten with Tom Hanks' son after meeting him on the set of her dad Ron Howard's film Apollo 13 when she was 12 years old and Colin, who was 16 at the time, was working behind the scenes as an assistant. During an appearance on the Podcrushed podcast, she explained: "We all [the family] moved out to Los Angeles for that [ Apollo 13]. I was raised mostly in New York, and I got to be on set as an intern, basically ... "Colin Hanks was on set as a PA. He was 16, and he was working his butt off. He was working really, really, really, really hard. "And they sort of assigned me to him, and I had had a crush on Colin for so long. Like my whole life. My whole life ... "Just any time that I encountered him, I was like: 'Oh my God. Now that's a man'." Bryce added she had "no chance, no shot" with Colin and her director dad knew all about her crush. She said: "My dad knew for sure. For sure. I don't think his dad [Tom Hanks] knew, and I don't think he [Colin Hanks] knew. My dad totally knew ... "Colin, he was a really big crush. A really, really, really big crush." Bryce revealed she was also obsessed with actor Joaquin Phoenix when she was a child and later got a shock when she was cast as his love interest in 2004 film The Village. She said: "I had the biggest crush on Joaquin Phoenix when I was seven years old, and he was Leaf Phoenix, and he was in [1989 movie] Parenthood. "And it was insane being like: 'Oh, you want me to play a character who's been in love with this guy, like, her whole life? Sure'." Bryce went on to reveal she had her first kiss at a performing arts summer camp, saying of the experience but didn't start dating properly until she was 18. She said of her first kiss: "That was a lovely scenario. Didn't ultimately work out, not because of anything other than he's gay. So it was lovely. Everything was great, honestly." A year after Bryce started dating, she met Seth Gabel, who she married in 2006.

Actor Anna Camp opened up about her first marriage during the May 14 episode of Podcrushed, hosted by You star Penn Badgley. The Pitch Perfect star described her relationship with Michael Mosley as 'a one-night stand that lasted seven years.' Camp, 42, met Mosley in New York City at age 21, shortly after a breakup. 'It was like an out-on-the-town night in Union Square,' she recalled. The pair became engaged in 2008, married in 2010, and ultimately divorced in 2013, with Mosley citing 'irreconcilable differences.' Penn Badgley Put Wax In Every Orifice For You Finale
The much-anticipated fifth and final season of the Netflix series You finally hit our screens last month, and this means that we have been treated to a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes insight from the cast and crew in recent weeks. If you need reminding, You stars Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, and is based on Caroline Kepnes's book of the same name. The TV show first premiered in 2018, and over the years, we've watched Joe stalk, manipulate, and murder his way through the series in some truly harrowing scenes. While there is absolutely no doubt that Joe is not, in any capacity, a nice guy, the character has remained pretty beloved by fans of the show, which is mainly due to the fact that he is the narrator, and consequently has the ability to manipulate viewers with the same charm and gaslighting that he manipulates his victims with in the very final episode of the series, Joe is fully exposed as the monster that he has always been as he goes head-to-head with his Season 5 love interest, Louise 'Bronte' Flannery, played by Madeline Brewer. This sequence marks the first time that viewers are explicitly shown just how terrifying and powerful Joe is, and we see him brutally attack Bronte — including violently punching her in the face, strangling her, and even attempting to drown her in a lake. The drowning scene is perhaps one of the most harrowing parts of the episode, and in a recent installment of his podcast, Podcrushed, Penn detailed the less-than-glamorous reality of shooting the water scenes, which involved having to put wax over his rectum. Yes, you read that correctly. Penn opened up when he and his Podcrushed cohosts, Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, recapped the You finale with its director, Lee Toland how they shot in the lake, Lee began by saying that a lot of the footage was actually filmed with Penn and Madeline's body doubles for health and safety reasons. 'I did get into the water for the final bit, I had to be fully submerged by the water,' Penn recalled before sharing: 'But the water was laced with E. coli. They did test it beforehand, and they said it was manageable, but what we all had to do, when we got in, we had to put in every orifice — I'm not kidding — wax. So, ears, nose… others…' Penn also detailed having to put on 'the tightest Speedo' that was made out of a 'really, really thick' material to help seal his body off from the bacteria. 'It was a small, small man-made little pond,' Penn continued. 'The grass was covered in goose shit. There were four of us who ended up having to get into that water, and we all had to cover every orifice. Seal it with, like, this wax pomade, in the noses, and then right after, when we got out, we had to spray our mouths and nose and ears with an antiseptic.' Keen to reassure listeners, Lee then said: 'I remember seeing all the water testing from safety and it was… It was not something you want to go and swim some laps in, but a lot of this is out of an abundance of caution.' But the director then admitted: 'Granted, I was sitting up on the shore with a cappuccino in my hands.' 'I'm saying all this not because it was dangerous at all, but because it was just gross,' Penn agreed, with Lee adding: 'I'd never ask you to do something I wouldn't do myself, OK? I didn't get in the water, for the record.' 'Have you put wax in your rectum?' Penn then asked, sparking laughter. And this prompted Lee to recall the moment another crew member told Penn about the wax situation, sharing: 'I remember, later that night, you telling me that Tony came up to you?' 'He's like: 'I'm only gonna ask you this once and never again… I need you to put this in your rectum,'' Penn finished. 'And I said: 'Tony... That's not a question!'' Whew, talk about dedication to the role — what do you make of Penn's revelation? Let me know in the comments below!
