Look-alike Shefford dad mistaken for hip-hop star Pitbull

A father-of-four who was mistaken for the rapper and singer Pitbull and mobbed by fans at one of his concerts says the whole experience has been "crazy". Phil Mansford, 49, from Shefford, Bedfordshire, decided to go a gig at the O2 Arena in London dressed as the Latin hip-hop star in a "standard suit" - with shades on. It has become a custom to dress like the star, donning his trademark glasses, shirts and jackets - and a bald Mansford said his wife had "stuck a bit of mascara" on his greying beard, before fans began "screaming and shouting and running towards me", believing he was the star. His wife Nicole took a video of the fans' reactions, sent it to their daughter Niamh, who posted it on TikTok. The reel has had more than 3.8 million views and has been shared more than 55,000 times. "I had no idea it was going to blow up like that, it's crazy," Mr Mansford added that he was wearing "just a standard suit with shades", but due to being "follically challenged", no bald cap was a bit of fun, he added, "my wife just stuck a bit of mascara on my little beard, to make it darker, as I'm going grey. "I had no idea it was a cult following [to dress like Pitbull]." Mr Mansford said people started to notice the similarities when he was on the train heading to the concert. "As we got closer to the O2 a few more people started shouting at me," he said. "I was sticking my thumbs up, I was loving the attention, and my wife was rolling her eyes. "As we got inside, people were dancing and getting in the vibe, someone must have said 'that's him'." "The next thing - it went mad, everyone was screaming, shouting and running towards me", he said. "I was with my mate Mike [Metrovich], he's an absolute diamond, and he's a personal trainer, so he looks the part and he pretended to be my bodyguard pushing people out the way and saying, 'no, no, no, move back'."He said although he is not a massive fan of the Fireball singer, the concert was "absolutely brilliant, top drawer". Mr Mansford, the manager of a day centre for adults with learning disabilities, said he just "milked the moment for all he could" and the whole experience had been "amazing". RedOne, Pitbull Release 2025 Club World Cup Anthem

Fez– In a bold musical move that fuses nostalgia with high-voltage energy, Moroccan hitmaker RedOne has teamed up with American rap icon Pitbull to release the official anthem for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, taking place in the United States. And they didn't hold back. Instead of composing something entirely new, the duo went straight for the jugular of global stadium classics: 'We Will Rock You', Queen's legendary 1977 anthem. But don't expect a simple remix; this is a full reimagining, infused with RedOne's signature cinematic production and modern electronic beats that bring the old-school stomp-stomp-clap into the heart of 2025. RedOne, known for his Grammy-stacked portfolio and larger-than-life collaborations, kept the song's iconic chant intact, but spun it into something sleeker, punchier, and tailor-made for a generation raised on festival drops and TikTok loops. It's a revival, not a replica. Then comes Pitbull. Mr. Worldwide himself dives in with fiery rap verses celebrating victory, perseverance, and the kind of unshakable swagger that fuels championship dreams. His lyrics ride the beat like a victory lap, delivering the kind of hype that gets fans on their feet, whether they're in the stadium or streaming the game from across the globe. The choice of 'We Will Rock You' isn't random; it's arguably one of the most universally recognized anthems of defiance and collective adrenaline. By bringing it back with a global twist, RedOne and Pitbull have effectively built a bridge between rock royalty and 21st-century sportainment. And while the beat drops and verses blaze, let's not forget who's showing up on the field. This year's Club World Cup includes Morocco's Wydad Casablanca, representing North Africa with pride and grit. They'll be joined by four other Arab powerhouses: Egypt's Al Ahly, Tunisia's Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, and the UAE's Al Ain. So, yes, North Africa and the Middle East will have a serious presence both on the pitch and in the soundtrack. RedOne and Pitbull aren't just throwing a party; they're giving fans an anthem to rally behind. It's old-school rock, global flair, and pure sporting adrenaline in one track. The stage is set, the song is out, and the countdown to kickoff has officially begun. Let the games and the beats begin. Tags: AnthemClub World CupPitbullRedOne

Inside Showpo CEO Jane Lu's bizarre Pitbull-themed birthday party

Showpo CEO Jane Lu turned 39 last week and her employees celebrated the big day with a hilarious prank. The Australian businesswoman shared a clip to Instagram on Monday that showed her workers dressed up as US singer Pitbull - aka Mr. Worldwide - for her birthday. The girls wore bald caps, wide-framed glasses and suits to surprise their boss, along with pencil-drawn chin specks to replicate the rapper's facial hair. 'We are surprising Jane for her birthday today. We are all dressed like Mr. Worldwide,' one of the girls told the camera. The employees could be seen dancing in the clip, with one person even doing the splits, as Jane arrived at the office. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. A Fireball drinks canister could be seen in the clip, hinting at the similarly-named Pitbull song that played in the background of the video. Jane's reaction was priceless, as her mouth gaped open at the bizarre surprise party. The Shark Tank star showed off her endless, trim pins in a brown mini skirt, which she paired with a black turtle neck shirt and oversized brown blazer. 'Mrs Worldwide has a nice ring to it,' she captioned the post. It's currently a viral social media trend for people to dress as the Hotel Room Service hitmaker and attend his concerts. Various TikTok clips show crowds of bald cap-wearing attendees at his shows, with the trend turning into a meme. Jane recently took to TikTok to poke fun at how her husband feels no pressure to dress up like she does. Despite the fact that she runs Showpo, her husband James Waldie, who is the chief financial officer, is usually wearing thongs and a t-shirt. While Jane is constantly seen in an array of mini skirts and dresses, her husband wears the same casual uniform paired with a backpack and a messy bun. The businesswoman joked that he was a real 'style icon' with the majority of Aussies praising his 'Steve Jobs mentality' when it comes to fashion. 'Love that money doesn't change him,' one person wrote. 'This is so real. Relatable,' another said. Another joked that James' simple and affordable fashion sense was the reason the couple now own a $100million company. One joked that this proves 'all men are the same', while another pointed out that his lack of wardrobe would mean Jane would have more space for her own clothes.
