I tried a £20 Home Bargains fan - it's a lifesaver during a heatwave
The fan is a must-have for the summer months and has been a "godsend" during the hot nights As the weather stays warm this week, many are on the hunt for ways to keep cool. I've always had a bit of a struggle finding the right temperature regardless of the weather; I'm always too hot or too cold. However, I may have finally stumbled upon an effective solution. Last year, I purchased a £19.99 fan from Home Bargains and brought it out of storage this week to combat the heatwave. It's been an absolute godsend. The fan is cool, compact, and quiet, proving itself to be an essential item I couldn't do without. The Pifco 32" Oscillating Tower Fan is also remarkably affordable given what it offers, particularly when compared to the hefty price tags often associated with similar devices. Standing at approximately 84cm tall, the fan is discreet enough to fit into any room and compact enough to stow away when not in use. It packs more punch than a desk fan or some of the smaller devices you'll find on the high street, though it might not quite match up to a Dyson or Shark product. Nonetheless, the tower fan still boasts a respectable strength, emitting an impressive amount of airflow, making it suitable for almost any situation. It features three speed settings and an oscillating function. Incredibly user-friendly, the fan is controlled by a dial on the top and can be set to levels one, two, or three, either in a fixed position or oscillating. It's powered by the mains, making it easy to relocate to different rooms in your home. The fan's three impressive speeds allow me to adjust it based on my comfort level and the room temperature. I can set it to one for a gentle breeze while working at my desk, increase the speed when I'm moving around the house, or crank it up to three during those exceptionally warm nights that make sleep almost impossible. I can vouch for its quiet operation; it emits only a soft hum, low enough not to disturb my sleep, reports the Mirror. However, the product is let down by its rather short power cable. At just about a metre long, it poses a challenge if your plug sockets are spaced out. This £19.99 fan is a fantastic purchase and is available in Home Bargains stores now. If it's out of stock at your local store or you don't mind waiting a few days, the retailer also sells the fan online. 'hassle free' returns to its stores. Home Bargains offers a variety of other fans as well, including the £16.99 Pifco 16" Stand Fan or the smaller Pifco 14" Oscillating Tower Fan for £14.99. For those who prefer a more compact, personal cooling device, there's the £2.99 Pifco 4" USB Mini Desk Fan or the Pifco Clip-On Fan, priced at £7.99.

I tried a £19.99 Home Bargains fan - now I can't live without it
With another heatwave underway, now is the ideal time to get your hands on a fan to help bring the temperature down in your home With temperatures high - and staying that way - this week, many people will be desperately looking for ways to stay cool. I've always struggled with finding the right temperature no matter the weather; I'm always too hot or too cold. However, I might have finally found a good solution. I bought a £19.99 fan from Home Bargains last year and pulled it out of winter retirement this week to deal with a heatwave. And what a lifesaver it has been. Cool, compact and quiet, the fan has proven to be a must-have that I couldn't live without. The Pifco 32" Oscillating Tower Fan is also incredibly cheap for what you get, especially considering the high price tags often attached to similar devices. The fan stands around 84cm tall, making it discreet enough to have in any room and compact enough to store away when not being used. It is much more powerful that a desk fan or some of the smaller devices you'll find on the high street, but may not be quite as impressive as a Dyson or Shark product. However, the tower fan is still relatively strong, releasing an impressive amount of airflow, making it perfect for use in almost any situation. It comes with three speed settings and an oscillating function. Super easy to use, the fan is operated using a dial on the top, and can be set to levels one, two or three, in a fixed position or oscillating. It is mains powered, making it easy to move around into different rooms in your home. The three impressive speeds mean I can swap and change depending on how I feel or how warm it is. I can keep it on one to enjoy a gentle breeze when I'm working at my desk, ramp it up if I'm busy around the house, or switch it up to three for those incredibly warm evenings when I'm struggling to sleep. I can also confirm that it really is quiet and it just emits just a gentle hum, so low that I'm able to sleep through it. However, the only thing that lets the product down is the somewhat short power cable. It is only around a metre long, which makes it difficult for those with plug sockets that are few and far between. The £19.99 fan is a great buy and can be snapped up in Home Bargains stores now. If your local store doesn't have stock or you don't mind waiting a few days, the retailer stocks the fan online too. Some shoppers could be eligible for Home Bargains' free Saver Delivery option when spending £100 online. The retailer offers 'hassle free' returns to stores too. Home Bargains also stocks a range of other fans, including the £16.99 Pifco 16" Stand Fan or the smaller Pifco 14" Oscillating Tower Fan for £14.99. For those who prefer a much smaller, personal cooling device, there's the £2.99 Pifco 4" USB Mini Desk Fan or the Pifco Clip-On Fan, priced at £7.99.
