Senior Siberian Cat's Wild Reaction To Noticing Hidden Camera Has People Stunned

Senior Siberian Cat's Wild Reaction To Noticing Hidden Camera Has People Stunned originally appeared on PetHelpful. Cats with their infinite peculiarities and mysterious personalities will never cease to amaze us. Whereas dogs will usually do things specifically when people are around because they want attention from their humans, their feline counterparts will do something a little different. Just take the senior Siberian cat, Miss Nonna, for instance. Apparently, she enjoys 'screaming at the top of her lungs,' but only when she thinks no one is listening. But as this stunning video shows, that's not all this beguiling feline will do when she believes no one is watching. It all started with this fluffy senior Siberian cat 'screaming' her heart out at the top of the stairs. Naturally, this is quite the adorable spectacle, and Miss Nonna's human wanted to film this unruly act of adorableness. The problem was that Miss Nonna is a little shy. As soon as the camera was out, she would clam up like she had just caught a sudden case of stage fright. Undeterred, Miss Nonna's human decided to pull a sneaky move in order to film their cat's rantings and ravings; they hid their phone at the top of the stairs and started recording while the beloved feline companion was enough, Miss Nonna was completely oblivious to the camera first. She started meowing to her fluffy heart's content, but after a moment, the camera finally caught her eye. Suddenly filled with curiosity, she started to approach the camera while continuing to meow loudly. But, just as Miss Nonna reached the camera, something remarkable happened. She began to speak as only a feline can. 'Herrow?' She said. And then again, and again, saying 'herrow' to her newest friend, the camera! As this other video shows, Miss Nonna is indeed a very vocal kitty. As such, it is not uncommon for her to give 'updates' to her human whenever she feels they are necessary. But Miss Nonna, being the complex feline that she is, doesn't always just give her human a straightforward meow when she wants to communicate. Sometimes, she will squeak to speak. And squeak in this clip, she does! While we would never presume to speak for Miss Nonna, we do feel confident in encouraging her to speak her mind. Because, as these videos show, when she does, it is a prime time formula for cuteness overload! Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos. Orange Cat's Guilty Pause After Getting Caught During Food Robbery Is Priceless

Orange Cat's Guilty Pause After Getting Caught During Food Robbery Is Priceless originally appeared on PetHelpful. If anyone has ever wondered why the cat burglar is referred to as the cat burglar, they may want to check out this video. As it shows, our feline companions are very crafty and can be rather unscrupulous when it comes to snagging a nice, tasty snack for themselves. This adorable little orange cat clearly has one thing on his mind as he attempts his snack robbery. However, it's his precious reaction to getting caught that is stealing our hearts. Ever the sly thief, this mischievous orange cat makes his way into the snack pantry. At first, he manages to get a lone paw into the pantry and begins feeling his way around to see if anything worth taking is within his reach. After a moment, he decides to poke his head in there to get a better look at things. That's when he spots a bag of tasty treats ready for the begins pawing at the package, pulling his prize towards him, and that's when he suddenly realizes that his little food robbery is being caught on camera. Unsurprisingly, this gives this little orange cat a good pause. He proceeded to take a long, hard look into the camera, perhaps reconsidering whether his little robbery attempt was even worth it anymore. But after a moment, he decided that it most definitely was, and proceeded to make off with his snack bag in tow! So much for this orange cat's conscience getting the better of him, LOL. The orange cat's behavior in that video is nothing new to many cat parents. A lot of them undoubtedly have stories of their beloved feline companions stealing all kinds of objects from them. But why do cats do this? There can be several possible reasons for this. It could be because cats are naturally hunters and thus have predatory instincts. So, pawing at something small and then running away with that thing in their mouth can be seen as sharpening vital hunting skills. It could also just be that they are looking for attention or are in a playful mood. Some animals, cats included, also like to hoard things, which could be links to their instincts to gather food and bring it closer to home. Whatever reasons the orange cat in this video had for stealing that snack bag, all we know is that no other cat burglar ever looked at this adorable will being caught red-handed. Adorable Cat's Grumpy Grievances With His Animal Siblings Have Us in Stitches

Adorable Cat's Grumpy Grievances With His Animal Siblings Have Us in Stitches originally appeared on PetHelpful. Many cat parents will likely tell you that their feline children are some very particular individuals. Now, don't get us wrong, we are not taking on cats in any way, shape, or form. We are simply commenting on their proclivity for grumpiness. The tabby cat, Mr. Milo, for example, is very discerning about the type of behavior that he deems acceptable from his animal siblings. As this video shows, Mr. Milo did not approve of most of what they do. In his opinion, he is 'surrounded by a bunch of buffoons,' and even made a video about it to air his grievances about the comings and goings of the other animals in his house. Mr. Milo's first grievance is against his rambunctious Golden Retriever sibling, Beckham. The problem is that, like many North American house sloths, Beckham cannot resist playing with his squeaky toy nonstop. All of the incessant squeaking sounds like nails screeching across the chalkboard to Mr. Milo's sensitive feline ears. But don't make the mistake of thinking that this tabby cat only takes issue with canine buffoonery. No, Mr. Milo doesn't give a pass to feline shenanigans either. He is particularly perceived with his feline sister, Maisie, who won't stop fighting the rug for reasons that are 'unbeknownst' to him. Mr. Milo simply could not be 'more disappointed with her foolish behavior.' As for his other feline sister, a black cat named Poppy, whose big, blank eyes seem to indicate that she has trouble thinking, Mr. Milo is no more grumpy cat takes issue with the way Poppy stares 'into the abyss while her only brain cell sparks like a faulty wire.' Mr. Milo's next grievance was reserved for Beckham once again. This time, his dopey Golden Retriever sibling had 'decided to commit unspeakable acts where he violated his own bedding.' And this was after 'torturing' the household with his squeaky toy for over an hour. Mr. Milo is so displeased with this raucous, raunchy display that he declared he would 'file another grievance with HR.' Later, when Mr. Milo attempted to get away from all the nonsense ruining his household, Poppy followed him and 'fired up her only brain cell,' just so she could ruin his 'peace.' To conclude this video, Mr. Milo stated that his household was nothing more than an utter 'disgrace.' But, it's not just his feline siblings that Mr. Milo takes issue with; he also has plenty of grievances against his human parents. In this other video, he highlights all the ways that 'humans may be toxic.' From staying up past his bedtime, to being two minutes late to feed him, and leaving the house for the day to go to work, even though their only real job is to take care of his every whim, Mr. Milo has some very strong opinions about what both human and animal are allowed to do around him. Cats Who Live Outside Sushi Chef's House Getting Fresh Fish Are Truly Living the Dream

Cats Who Live Outside Sushi Chef's House Getting Fresh Fish Are Truly Living the Dream originally appeared on PetHelpful. Cats and sushi go together like peanut butter and jelly. They are pretty much a match made in heaven, or at least we are pretty sure that's what most of the cats in the world would tell you if they could tell us humans. It's something that most of our feline companions can only dream of. Fortunately for one group of cats, who just so happen to live outside of a sushi chef's house, that dream is a reality. Thanks to this kindhearted sushi chef, these adorable little cats get their daily helping of fresh sashimi on a daily basis. These adorable little felines, which this video has lovingly dubbed "sushi cats," are certainly living a good life. And honestly, who could resist giving these pretty creatures fresh fish each day as they popped up outside their window? Not us, we can tell you that much. Part of what makes this so cute is how these precious sushi cats line up outside the window, Annie-style, waiting for the chef to open the window just a sliver and give them some delicious fresh fish. If we could speak cat, we are pretty sure these felines would all be saying, 'Please, sir, may I have some more?' This video is also a great argument for why every kitchen should have windows. Not only do they let in natural light and provide a gorgeous view of the outside world, but they also make it possible to observe adorable kitties in action as they have a little fish feast! Why Do Cats Like Fish So Much? We are pretty sure that any cat parent will tell you how much their feline companion loves fish, and tuna in particular. But why is this? According to a report from Psychology Today, cats have evolved to be obligate carnivores, meaning that they are digested systems have evolved to only process meat. As such, their taste receptors have also evolved to have high sensitivity to umami, which is the flavor of meat. Because the feline palate has evolved with such a deep sensitivity to umami, foods that are very rich in this flavor, such as tuna fish, are amongst their favorites. That's probably part of the reason why these cats are so drawn to this sushi chef's house; they can smell the good stuff, and if there is any chance that they can get some of it, as any cat parent will tell you, they are going to take it! first appeared on PetHelpful on Jun 19, 2025

Mama Raccoon Bravely Saves Baby From Falling off Roof in Harrowing Video

Mama Raccoon Bravely Saves Baby From Falling off Roof in Harrowing Video originally appeared on PetHelpful. ABC News shared a video on Wednesday, June 18th filmed by a couple in Pennsylvania watching a mama raccoon struggle to save her baby from falling off a roof. The video shows the mom already struggling to hold on to her baby as he flails and tries to hold on to her. Make sure your sound is on so you can hear the couple's conversation as they watch the events unfold. The mama raccoon refuses to give up; moms everywhere know that when it comes to protecting our babies, failure isn't an option! We love it when the man says, "That is the will of a mama right there," because he's spot on! That mama raccoon was not about to let that baby fall, and we're sure that the baby learned a lesson, too! Viewers of ABC News' video left more than 500 comments, and people were impressed by the raccoon's tenacity. @Amy shared, "That raccoon mom is a true hero, showing the strength and determination of a mother's love." @Kate Crawford Sanger added, "That's that adrenaline mom rush!" @Nate Ridgely had our favorite comment, "So the 'mom gets super strength to pick a car up off of a baby' isn't just limited to humans? Moms are badass regardless of species!"Some animal species (like cuckoo birds, sharks, and hippos) are terrible mothers, which made us wonder if raccoons are or if this mama raccoon's actions were just a one-off. According to the Wildlife Removal blog, raccoons are great mothers. "Raccoons are excellent mothers. They take great care of their babies. When the babies are young, they stay in a nest while the mother raccoon goes and forages for extra food to make enough milk to feed them." We're guessing the baby in this video was probably at this stage, "After about twelve weeks, the young have grown large enough that they start to follow the mother outside of the nest area (the nest is usually in a tree hollow or an attic) and outside, where they learn from her how to forage for food, and where are the best places to go." This baby found out where not to go! The article goes on to say that the babies are weaned by 16 weeks. The youngsters often stay with their mom for up to nine months before finally starting life on their own.
