Tyrese Haliburton warm-up video will excite Pacers fans before Game 6

The post Tyrese Haliburton warm-up video will excite Pacers fans before Game 6 appeared first on ClutchPoints. Tyrese Haliburton raised concerns ahead of Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The versatile Haliburton gingerly left the Paycom Center court with a calf injury in Game 5. Indiana Pacers fans, however, are now breathing out relief and excitement. Advertisement Haliburton dressed up in a practice uniform inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse. He's seen draining 10 consecutive baskets. But more promising for Pacers fans? 'Hali' showed no signs of pain in his calf. Haliburton remains on the questionable side for the Thursday night contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Indiana is down 3-2 after falling to the Thunder back on Monday. Haliburton and the Pacers must win to keep any further chance of winning the Larry O'Brien Trophy — a first for the franchise. A victory forces the seventh and deciding game in Oklahoma City on Sunday. Will Tyrese Haliburton start for Pacers in critical contest? Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Spots The warm-up shooting session is a promising sign that Haliburton will be a full go. Even his head coach Rick Carlisle didn't believe his star would sit. Carlisle believed after Game 5 that Haliburton would be in action for Thursday. Advertisement But is he indeed a full go ahead of the pulsating showdown with the Pacers' season on the line? ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania revealed Haliburton's approach. 'Tyrese Haliburton has every intention of playing tonight,' Charania said to the Pat McAfee Show. 'He's fully intending to be out there tonight.' By playing, Carlisle likely won't force his triple-double threat to come off the bench. Haliburton always hands Indiana its best chance of winning when he's on the floor. He's proved it during the Eastern Conference Finals and in the two NBA Finals wins over OKC. His health isn't the x-factor versus the Thunder, however. Indiana's defense, especially against Jalen Williams, will need to come in handy to have any chance of extending the series one more game. Report: Jalen Ramsey prefers trade to the West Coast, with Rams, Chargers as possibilities

The Rams have interest in a reunion with Jalen Ramsey, and the cornerback apparently does, too. Adam Schefter of ESPN said Friday on the Pat McAfee Show that Ramsey 'would like to go to the West Coast, to Los Angeles — Rams, Chargers, somewhere like that.' The Dolphins have sought to trade Ramsey since early April, and he was expected to have a new home soon after June 1. It hasn't happened yet. Schefter indicated a deal should happen before training camps begin roughly a month from now. Ramsey is scheduled to make a fully guaranteed $24.235 million in 2025, and it seems likely the Dolphins will have to pay some of it to facilitate a deal.

Arkansas' John Calipari makes case for Adou Thiero to be a first-round pick

Arkansas' John Calipari makes case for Adou Thiero to be a first-round pick Adou Thiero is highly touted as a prospect in the 2025 NBA draft, and his Arkansas head coach believes he has a strong case to be a first-round pick after a strong junior campaign. Thiero averaged a career-high 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals on 54.5% shooting from the field in 27 games. He was tied for the most points on the team (407), despite missing eight games due to a left knee hyperextension. John Calipari has helped dozens of players over the years hear their names called in the first round of the draft and believes Thiero should be the next in line. He explained why on the "Pat McAfee Show" on Thursday. Adou Thiero is a first-round draft pick and let me tell you why: I love the physicalness of the league right now because you got to work to get a basket. ... Adou can play in a physical game and, athletically, be in the top 1%. He is somebody that, if you pass on him, they'll look back and say: How many people passed on him? He is that good and a good kid. Thiero registered eight 20-point performances with the Razorbacks, including a season-high 26 points and 10 rebounds on Dec. 7 in a win over UTSA. He ranked second in the SEC in field-goal percentage and eighth in box plus-minus (plus-10.6). The 21-year-old is considered a potential late first-round pick because of his ability to score in the paint, athleticism, physicality and defensive instincts. He also boasts a 7-foot wingspan that has enabled him to get deflections and block shots. Thiero followed Calipari from Kentucky to Arkansas after two seasons. He had his best season in a larger role and is now on the verge of being drafted into the NBA.

Spurs' Potential Kevin Durant Trade Pursuit Receives Major Update

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. With the NBA offseason about to begin, the San Antonio Spurs are going to be a major team to keep an eye on. Already, they have been connected as a potential trade suitor for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant and potentially for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo if they make him available. Durant would be a very intriguing fit alongside of Victor Wembanyama. A trade would bring a lot of entertainment to the Spurs. There is no question that San Antonio has interest in Durant, but is a deal actually possible? A new update has been given on the situation. He would prefer a trade and there have been so many rumors that him staying in Phoenix would be strange. Read more: Report: Suns Receive Brutal Update About Kevin Durant Trade Talks Where do the Spurs stand in a potential trade for the 36-year-old superstar? That is relatively unknown right now. ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania spoke out with an update on the situation during an appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show." "There's a certain price threshold they'll go to for a guy like Kevin Durant, and if that price doesn't align with Phoenix's, then clearly there's just not going to be a deal," Charania said. Basically, it sounds like San Antonio has a deal in mind that they'd be willing to do. If Phoenix does not agree with their terms, the Spurs would walk away and be fine not acquiring Durant. Adding Durant could be the move necessary for San Antonio to become an NBA Finals contender next season. Having him playing alongside a healthy Wembanyama would be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Read more: Report: Lakers Have Talked Center Trade With Western Conference Opponent During the 2024-25 NBA season with the Suns, Durant played in 62 games. He averaged 26.6 points per game to go along with six rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks. He also shot 52.7 percent from the floor and 43 percent from the three-point line. Those numbers are still elite. He is still one of the best scorers in the league, which is something the Spurs could use more of for next season. At this point, it's hard telling whether San Antonio could get a deal done for Durant. The Spurs simply aren't going to overpay, which could hinder their chances of completing a trade with Phoenix.
