51 JP University students get job offers
Chhapra: Altogether 51 students of Chhapra-based JP University got job offers during a campus placement drive organised at the University Senate Hall on Saturday. This includes job offers to 41 boys and 10 girls. Inaugurating the placement drive, the vice chancellor, Parmendra Kumar Bajpai, congratulated the boys and girls on their bright future. This placement drive was the second in April, as one such drive was held on April 11, in which 119 students received job offers, including 89 boys and 30 girls. On Saturday, two major tyre manufacturers in the country participated in the placement drive and selected students for apprenticeships. One of the representatives of the company, Abhishek Kumar of MRF, said, "During the apprenticeship , the selected students would be paid Rs. 18,000 to 19,500, and after completion of the three years of apprenticeship, they would be placed in the pay scale of Rs 35,000 to 40,000 per month. The selected students would have to report to the plants of the companies in Gujarat and Hyderabad.

Placement drive at JP University on April 26
Chhapra: Another round of placement drive would be conducted at the J P University on April 26, where reputed companies are expected to visit. Earlier, the university organised three rounds of campus placements, under the guidance of vice-chancellor, Parmendra Kumar Bajpai. An official of the university said the selected students would be offered a basic salary ranging from Rs 17,500 to 20,500 per month.
