FBC: Firebreak headlines June's PS Plus additions

Remedy's multiplayer spin on Control is coming to the PlayStation Game Catalog. Sony's June PS Plus additions start with the day-one arrival of FBC: Firebreak . Other entries this month include the latest Battlefield entry and sticky-ball Katamari fun. FBC: Firebreak lets you and up to two others team up to kick some Hiss ass. Play as a government employee who volunteered to take out extra-dimensional monsters. But the wicked delights really kick in when you enhance your plain ol' guns with supernatural gear. In our preview, Engadget's Jessica Conditt saw a promising and "incredibly fun" shooter that only needed a bit of fine-tuning before launch. " Firebreak is poised to be a thoughtful and focused entry in the co-op shooter genre, and it's already an inviting extension of Remedy's darkest and silliest sensibilities," she wrote. FBC: Firebreak will be available in the Game Catalog on its launch day, June 17. You'll need a PS Plus Extra or Premium membership to claim it. Also coming on that date is Battlefield 2042 . This could be a good time to catch up on the franchise before its next installment. (It's expected by April 2026.) Also arriving this month is We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie . Who doesn't love rolling a satisfyingly growing blob of random shit? Both of those titles require a PS Plus Extra or Premium membership. Ditto for other June entries like Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 and theHunter: Call of the Wild . Meanwhile, the 2000 classic Deus Ex: The Conspiracy will only be available for Premium subscribers. You can check out the PlayStation blog for the complete list.

More PS Plus games are set to grace the Extra and Premium tiers of the service, featuring FBC: Firebreak and Battlefront 2042. Despite a disappointing performance in May, PS Plus has been on a roll, delivering a string of wins. While Sand Land, the headline drop, may not have reached the lofty standards previously set by the Extra and Premium tiers, an unexpected PS Plus drop as part of the Days of Play promotion brought a wealth of titles. ‌ The latest PlayStation State of Play also unveiled some big wins, reminding players to look forward to FBC: Firebreak (also coming to Xbox Game Pass) and the original Deus Ex in June. This quickly turned the sentiment from "we're cooked" to "we're so back". ‌ And the surprises don't stop there. Sony has announced the games joining the PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 roster, providing another golden opportunity for you to expand your game collection. So, what's in store? PS Plus subscribers have been truly spoilt this past month. The unexpected drop of new PS Plus titles included bonus games such as Another Crab's Treasure and Grand Theft Auto 3 for Extra and Premium subscribers, along with a significant delivery of Essential games. ‌ And it seems the surprises aren't stopping there. The recent PlayStation State of Play reveal gave players a glimpse into what's coming next, announcing that in addition to FBC: Firebreak, gamers can look forward to playing Deus Ex in the Premium tier this month, marking a major release before it had even been officially announced. ‌ Owning a PS5 is proving to be quite rewarding, particularly with our PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 predictions suggesting that we could see some real gems added to the subscription service. It's a bit tough that players have to pay for live services while PC gamers don't face the same issue, but at least the top tiers of the service offer great value to players. The PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 games reveal time is expected to maintain the high standard of releases we've seen since the announcement that the PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 games would be led by the somewhat lacklustre Sand Land. Here's when PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 free games are being announced

The PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 games are set to be announced soon, and we've got all the details you need to know about when you can expect them Two titles have already been confirmed for the PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 roster, but there's plenty more speculation about what else might be on the cards. Despite a somewhat lacklustre reveal of Sand Land as the headline act last month, PlayStation kicked off its PS Plus June 2025 free games with a surprise drop for Essential subscribers, as well as a smattering of titles for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, so we'll write off May as a blip for now. ‌ The recent PlayStation State of Play showcase (via YouTube) made some significant announcements, including the release of Twisted Metal 3 and 4 on Tuesday, July 15, and Resident Evil 2 and 3 in the summer. It was also revealed that Sword of the Sea, the latest adventure from the creators of Journey, will debut on the service on day one in August. ‌ Some of these releases are imminent, with FBC: Firebreak set to land on PS Plus Extra on Tuesday, June 17, along with the original Deus Ex for Premium subscribers. These games are guaranteed to arrive this month, giving us a solid starting point for predicting other potential additions. The most effective way to anticipate what might be included in a future PS Plus release is by examining the games that were released on the service at the same time last year, noting their original PlayStation release dates, adding a year to those dates, and seeing what matches up. In this instance, we'd be looking at the PS Plus June 2025 Extra and Premium lineup, which boasted Monster Hunter Rise, Crusader Kings 3 and Monster Energy Supercross – The Video Game 6. Given that Monster Hunter was initially launched in March 2021, the subsequent year is a good indicator for game releases, with titles such as Bleach: Brave Souls, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands making an appearance. The inclusion of these games would result in a satisfying PS Plus June 2025 Extra and Premium games drop for many players. However, with FBC: Firebreak already confirmed, it hardly needs these additions to make it a standout month. But when exactly will this new collection of games be unveiled? Here's everything you need to know about the PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 games reveal date. ‌ PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 games reveal date The PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 games reveal date is scheduled for Wednesday,June 11 at 8.30am PDT / 11.30am EDT / 4.30pm BST. This is because the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for any given month are always announced on its second Wednesday, before being released on the following Tuesday, which in this case is Tuesday, June 17. PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 games confirmed

Sand Land and Soul Hackers 2 join PS Plus in the latest drop for Extra and Premium subscribers, giving players a heap of new titles to work through. The PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 games are here, offering players a major delivery featuring the likes of Sand Land and Soul Hackers 2. It's time for a new bout of games to be added to your subscription collection. We hope your backlog is clear, though we expect it isn't. PS Plus has been on a major winning streak for the last few months, with the PS Plus Extra and Premium April 2025 games delivering Hogwarts Legacy to players, and the PS Plus Essential May 2025 drop having plenty to offer in the shape of Balatro and Warhammer 40K: Boltgun. It's been a blast to be subscribed, especially now that we're sufficiently hooked on gambling gameplay loops and pressing the dedicated 'for the Emperor!' taunt button. ‌ With that in mind, though, there's a lot of pressure now being applied on the incoming PS Plus drop to be yet another banger, and we're hopeful that PlayStation can come through with some great titles. Our PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 predictions guessed that more Destiny 2 expansions could come to the service, but it seems that the company had other plans this month. Here's everything you need to know about the PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 games. ‌ PS Plus Extra and Premium May 2025 games PS Plus Extra May 2025 games Taking to the internet in a new blog post, Sony has revealed each of the games that are set to arrive on PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers' pages on Tuesday, May 20. Here's everything coming for Extra subscribers: Sand Land (PS5 | PS4) Soul Hackers 2 (PS5) Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted – Full TIme Edition (PS5 | PS4) Battlefield 5 (PS4) S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy (PS5 | PS4) Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS5 | PS4) Humankind (PS5 | PS4) Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (PS5) Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition (PS5 | PS4) PS Plus Premium May 2025 games And here's everything (and by everything, we mean one thing coming to the library for Premium subscribers: Battle Engine Aquila (PS5 | PS4) It's a pretty loaded drop this month, but it isn't exactly reaching the soaring heights of Hogwarts Legacy's reveal. Sand Land largely missed the mark when it comes to adapting the deep-cut manga and anime series, and only one game in the Premium slot is a pretty big missed opportunity. It's not exactly what fans wanted – here's hoping they're more indifferent than they are furious.
