WWE Raw results: Nikki Bella's return cut short by Liv Morgan's attack, Evolution 2 match teased

Nikki Bella I Credits: WWE/Netflix WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella made her long-awaited return to Monday Night RAW in Phoenix this week. The crowd welcomed her with loud cheers as she stepped back into the spotlight. Nikki was there to talk about the upcoming Evolution 2 premium live event, WWE's all-women's show set for July 13 in Atlanta. It will be only the second time Evolution takes place after its first edition in 2018, which Nikki herself headlined in a match against Ronda Rousey. This return was special. Nikki met with a few wrestlers backstage, including Maxxine Dupri and Women's World Champion Iyo Sky. She praised the new generation and mentioned names like Roxanne Perez and Stephanie Vaquer, pointing out that the current division is filled with talent. But the moment she entered the ring to give her speech, things started to take a turn. Nikki Bella had main-evented the first Evolution program against Ronda Rousey in 2018 for the women's World Championship, and her presence in the return of the all-women PLE will only help to elevate the upcoming event further. Nikki began talking about the future of women's wrestling and how proud she was to see how far the division has come. She reminded everyone of how important the Evolution event is and hinted that she would be part of it in some form. Just when it looked like Nikki was getting the spotlight, Liv Morgan came out with a microphone in hand and a chip on her shoulder. Liv Morgan attacks Nikki Bella after feeling disrespected YOU CAN LOOKBUT YOU CAN'T TOUCH NIKKI BELLA is here! — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 Liv was clearly upset. She wasted no time in letting everyone know that she felt disrespected because Nikki didn't mention her name while praising the division. Liv said that Nikki was jealous of her success and took a dig at her personal life. She said she was a champion and had a man, referring to Dominik Mysterio, while Nikki had neither. The fans reacted loudly to that line but Nikki didn't stay quiet. Nikki fired back by bringing up the ongoing rumours around Dominik and Roxanne Perez. She told Liv that she might want to give Perez a call to say thanks for stealing both her title shot and her man. This made Liv furious. She stepped into the ring and suddenly dropped Nikki with her finisher, Oblivion, before walking away with a smirk on her face. Nikki was left lying in the ring as officials checked on her. That shocking attack wasn't just a one-off moment. It seems like WWE is setting up a high-profile match between Liv Morgan and Nikki Bella at Evolution 2. With Liv currently holding the Women's Tag-Team Championship and Nikki looking to prove she still belongs, the stage is set for an intense rivalry. While there is no confirmation yet, fans are already talking about the match as one of the main attractions at Evolution. There is also curiosity around whether Brie Bella might join her sister to even the odds (chances are quite slim). For now, Nikki might have come back to celebrate women's wrestling, but Liv Morgan made sure that her return was anything but peaceful. 10/6/2025 9:31:51

WWE Raw: UK start time, TV, live stream, latest news, confirmed match card for tonight

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella will make a special, and rare, appearance on WWE Raw tonight, whilst Jey Uso will defend the World Heavyweight championship. This will be the first sighting of Bella on WWE television since her shocking in-ring return at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event (PLE) earlier in the year. Bella is said to have a special message for the WWE Universe, with many predicting some kind of announcement for the women's Evolution PLE that takes place next month. In the main event, Gunther seeks to win back the World Heavyweight championship from Jey Uso in a huge WrestleMania 41 rematch. It remains to be seen what condition the champion is in after being put through the announce table during his tag team match with Cody Rhodes against John Cena and Logan Paul at Money in the Bank on Saturday. There is also the threat of Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins lurking in the shadows. He's successfully cashed in the contract once before and the conditions may suit him to repeat the trick at the end of the night. Now on the road to Night of Champions, Cena will also be in the house - presumably to address R-Truth's shocking return and subsequent attack which cost him on Saturday - whilst the King and Queen of the ring tournaments begin. With that said, here's everything you need to know about the June 9th episode of WWE Raw. In the UK, WWE Raw is scheduled to start at 1am BST in the early hours of Tuesday morning, lasting until 4am. The show will take place at the PHX Arena, Phoenix, Arizona. Those with a subscription can watch WWE Raw live on Netflix at no additional cost, while they can also catch up in full after the show. A standard subscription costs £4.99 a month and it can be cancelled at any time. World Heavyweight championship: Jey Uso (c) vs Gunther *Card is subject to change.

WWE-AAA Crossover Worlds Collide Becomes Company's Most-Watched Live YouTube Broadcast Ever (EXCLUSIVE)

WWEtoday announced that Worlds Collide, its first joint Premium Live Event (PLE) with the recently-acquired Mexican promotion AAA, set a record for the largest live audience in company history for a YouTube broadcast. The event peaked at 764,389 live concurrent viewers across the WWE and WWE Espańol YouTube channels during the main event between AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo and WWE superstar Chad Gable. Still available to watch for free on YouTube, the show, which received rave reviews from fans of both companies as well as journalists from around the world, Saturday's broadcast has been watched by more than 4.1 million viewers on YouTube in the first 24 hours. On X, #WorldsCollide was the No. 1 trending topic globally on Saturday, and WWE generated more than 32 million social views across all platforms in the first 24 hours. Advertisement More from Variety Wrestlers from both companies mixed it up in several major matches, and some of the longtime veteran Mexican luchadors immediately got over with U.S. viewers who were seeing them for the first time. Chiefly among them, Mr. Iguana (seen above), who has become an overnight sensation with WWE fans and already has a shirt available on the WWE online shop. The evening's main event between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable was another standout and for many ranks among the best matches WWE has produced this year. In April, WWE announced its acquisition of AAA in partnership with Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company, Fillip. The companies will continue to work together in the months and years to come, including at the upcoming Triplemanía Regia on June 15, where TNA, WWE and AAA wrestlers will appear in the same show for the first time ever. Worlds Collide can be watched for free on WWE's YouTube channel, and is available with both English and Spanish commentary. Advertisement Best of Variety Sign up for Variety's Newsletter. WWE Money in the Bank 2025: March card and bold predictions

The post WWE Money in the Bank 2025: March card and bold predictions appeared first on ClutchPoints. It's already time for the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE, and it has a stacked four-bout card with two ladder matches — who will earn themselves a world championship match? Advertisement Plus, a year after announcing his retirement tour at the 2024 Money in the Bank event, WWE Champion John Cena will compete at his final iteration of the annual PLE. He will team with Logan Paul to face World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and a returning Cody Rhodes. Aside from the two namesake ladder matches, there is a Women's Intercontinental Championship and high-profile tag team bout. Triple H loves a four-match card, and that's what fans are getting with Money in the Bank. 2025 WWE Money in the Bank match card and predicted winners Below is the full match card for the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE. Note: the order of the matches has not been confirmed as of the time of this writing. Predicted winners are bolded. Advertisement Men's Money in the Bank ladder match: Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Andrade vs. El Grande Americano Women's Money in the Bank ladder match: Alexa Bliss vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Rhea. Ripley vs. Giulia vs. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer Tag team match: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul Women's Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch Can John Cena and Logan Paul co-exist? © Joe Camporeale-Imagn Images The match: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul Instead of having John Cena defend the WWE Championship in what could be his last match in Los Angeles, WWE has him teaming with Logan Paul against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. It feels like a waste of Cena in his last run as an in-ring performer, but alas. Even if Travis Scott or The Rock interfere, I don't foresee the babyface team losing. Rhodes needs a rematch against Cena to get his revenge, and that can start with him pinning the champ. Expect Rhodes and Uso to win, setting the former up for a rematch at SummerSlam in August 2025. Advertisement Cena's 17th world championship has been fumbled. It should have been a moment celebrated by all WWE fans. Instead, it's been a dud in a storyline that was obviously constructed on the fly. Final prediction: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat John Cena and Logan Paul. Will it be 'Mami in the Bank'? The match: Women's Money in the Bank ladder match: Alexa Bliss vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Rhea. Ripley vs. Giulia vs. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer Given WWE's recent moves, like cutting R-Truth and Carlito from their roster as part of cost-saving efforts, you'd think the marketability of Rhea Ripely winning Money in the Bank would be too great to pass up. Advertisement There certainly is a chance Ripley could win, but it'd cause a stir online. I think Ripley will come really close, but someone, whether it be Iyo Sky or someone else, will interfere and cost her the match. Giving it to a young star like Roxanne Perez or Stephanie Vaquer is another solid option. The briefcase could launch them to the main event as they did with Tiffany Stratton. However, I think Naomi is who WWE will go with. She is having the run of her career at the moment, and why not add fuel to the fire? She could steal the Women's Championship from Stratton with a cash in and head into a match against Jade Cargill and/or Bianca Belair as champ at SummerSlam. Final prediction: Naomi wins the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. Third time's the charm for LA Knight? Hali Tauxe/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK. The match: Men's Money in the Bank ladder match: Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Andrade vs. El Grande Americano Advertisement For the third year in a row, LA Knight will compete in a Money in the Bank ladder match. Despite not winning either of the last two, he has remained perpetually over. It would be nice if WWE rewarded Knight for his efforts with a win. He's probably not the favorite, as Seth Rollins has a faction behind him that could interfere, but I think Knight will finally pull it off. Either Roman Reigns or CM Punk will cost Rollins the match. Heck, I could see both of them getting involved, as Reigns has unfinished business with both Superstars. While another Rollins run with the briefcase would be interesting, Knight has earned a chance to shine. Rollins will probably beat Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship at some point, but it won't be via the Money in the Bank briefcase. Advertisement As for the rest of the field, Andrade hasn't been important in months, ditto for Solo Sikoa since he lost to Reigns at the WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025. El Grande Americano would be unexpected, but there's no shot WWE pushes Chad Gable like that. Final prediction: LA Knight wins the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match. Becky Lynch, Women's Intercontinental Champion? Joe Camporeale-Imagn Images. The match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship At one time, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Becky Lynch would beat Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Their Money in the Bank showdown being a 'Last Chance' match — which means Lynch can no longer challenge for it for as long as Valkyria is champion if she loses — takes some intrigue out of it. Advertisement I still think Lynch will inevitably win the belt someday, but not yet. Her winning would help build Valkyria as a babyface in pursuit of regaining her championship. But we're still awaiting the return of Bayley, who Lynch took out to be Valkyria's tag team partner at WrestleMania 41. Unless WWE has no plans for Bayley at any point soon, she will probably attack Lynch, setting up a triple threat match between them at SummerSlam or the next Saudi Arabia show. Final prediction: Lyra Valkyria retains the Women's Intercontinental Championship. WWE Money in the Bank starts at 6:30 pm EST on Saturday, June 7, 2025. WWE SmackDown takeaways: Seth Rollins' crew runs the show; John Cena, Logan Paul set trap

WWE SmackDown takeaways: Seth Rollins' crew runs the show; John Cena, Logan Paul set trap WWE Friday Night SmackDown on June 6 took place at Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, Calif., featuring the team of John Cena and Logan Paul coming face-to-face with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The go-home episode for Money in the Bank was another typical rush-to-the-finish-line final show before a PLE, complete with a pointless 6-person tag match. Seth Rollins' new faction essentially took over the show, appearing multiple times to deliver promos and disrupt in-ring action. We also saw the Wyatt Sicks strike fear into the entire tag team division and the team of Andrade and Penta put on a fun one against the Creed Brothers. Check out the top takeaways from this episode: Seth Rollins, Solo Sikoa trade barbs; Jacob Fatu assists Jimmy Uso In what was the first of many appearances for the still-officially-unnamed group of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman, the faction took the ring to open the show. Rollins vowed to win MITB while warning others to stay out of their way, or suffer the same fate as Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. Enter Solo Sikoa, along with JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa, arguably the best mic worker on the WWE roster right now, tested Rollins' warning while taking shots at Breakker and Reed, comparing them to The Bloodline's second and third men. Rollins chirped back, this time getting Fatu involved. Eventually, they all step to one another, but Sikoa's side exited the ring without getting physical. The crowd started cheering loudly, but it wasn't for Rollins' team. It was because Jimmy Uso appeared from behind to attack, leading to the start of a match against Mateo. The match ended up being very solid, with Uso flying all over Bakersfield. The ending was a surprise. Not only did Uso kick out of Mateo's finisher, but a distraction from Fatu allowed Uso to hit a rollup pin for the victory. Naturally, Mateo vented his frustrations with Fatu to Sikoa. The opening promo was pretty standard "I'm going to win at the PLE" stuff on the surface, but this really served to plant more seeds for the eventual breakup of Fatu from Sikoa and Mateo. It could also lead to any mix and match of the six wrestlers, which would all be entertaining. Giulia assists Zelina Vega, then attacks Women's United States Champion Zelina Vega doesn't have a match at MITB, so she put her title on the line the night before instead. Oh, no. Wait. No, she didn't. She was in a non-title "Bakersfield Brawl" match against Piper Niven, who had Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre with her at ringside. At least they gave Vega a full entrance this week. So, the match itself wasn't bad by any means. Kendo sticks, chairs and tables all got some use here. Vega hit a beautiful counter DDT to smash Niven's face into a chair, but then the numbers game caught up. However, Vega got assistance from an unlikely party in Giulia. With use of a kendo stick, Giulia helped Vega powerbomb Niven through a table for the pin. After, Giulia raised Vega's arm in celebration, only to blindside her and hit her finisher. She then lifted the US title high as Vega was down. Giulia is coming for the US title, and it's a fantastic program for her to be in as she settles into the SmackDown roster. Despite the Vega-Niven match being non-title, everything else here worked well, including the tease for the future match against Giulia for the title. King and Queen of the Ring to return WWE is bringing back King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, as announced by Raw and SmackDown GMs Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis – and the matchups start next week. After the announcement, Jade Cargill made her promise to win the crown, but Charlotte Flair of course, interrupted to say everyone knows there's only one queen of WWE. Short takeaway here, but this is welcome. The King and Queen of the Ring is a staple of the WWE's lineup. My only wish is that they don't force "King" and "Queen" labels on the winners' names as part of a pseudo-gimmick change – unless it just makes sense. Imagine if LA Knight wins. King Knight? Nah. Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Stephanie Vaquer win six-woman tag There's only one takeaway from the pointless six-woman tag match featuring all competitors of the women's MITB match: We got to see Stephanie Vaquer's new entrance, and it's incredible. The team of Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Vaquer defeated Naomi, Roxanne Perez and Giulia. Sure, there were a few fun moments in the match, and all of the competitors are fantastic, but this was all pointless considering they will all be working against each other at MITB on Saturday. John Cena, Logan Paul lay trap for Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso Taking the ring for the fourth or fifth time was Seth Rollins' crew. This time it was Paul Heyman on the mic cutting a promo on Rollins' behalf for MITB. They were soon joined by Cody Rhodes, followed by Jey Uso – but during Uso's entrance, which was through the concourse and crowd, Rollins and crew exited before the show went to commercial. Rhodes and Uso shared the mic for a mid promo before John Cena entered. Logan Paul then attacked from behind. There were no words exchanged here, just AAs from Cena, and knockout punches and splashes from the top rope by Paul. Cena vowed to continue his plan to ruin wrestling. He said Paul will be the future World Heavyweight Champion. After delivering those words on the mic, the beatdown continued and the crowd started chanting for R-Truth. "You can't handle the truth!" Cena quipped. This only prompted more chants for the recently released wrestler. Good on Bakersfield. Paul grabbed Uso's title and joined Cena in hoisting gold high as the show concluded. Since Rollins worked overtime on SmackDown, his show of strength will likely mean a loss at MITB, but we will know in a few hours. The final segment with Cena, Paul, Rhodes and Uso was alright, but nothing special. Considering this match one of only four announced for the show, here's to hoping it turns out to be better than it has any right to be. We'll likely get a big return appearance too. If Roman Reigns doesn't appear, I'll be surprised.
