Will Madelyn Cline root on Coastal Carolina in the College World Series?
In the 2025 College World Series final, we know this much: Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes will be rooting on their alma mater, LSU. But who could be backing the Tigers' opponent, Coastal Carolina? For that answer, we might have to look at the other Carolina, specifically North Carolina's Outer Banks. That's because Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline (who plays Sarah Cameron) might be a fan of the Chanticleers. Per an interview with Arts Intel in 2023, Cline was home-schooled in Goose Creek, South Carolina before she attended Costal Carolina for just her freshman year in 2017. She dropped out and drove to L.A. I haven't unearthed any posts on social media or discussions in articles about whether she roots for the university's sports teams or not, sadly. So maybe we'll see her fandom come out as the Chanticleers -- that's a type of rooster, in case you're wondering -- fight to win their first men's College World Series title since 2016.

Gold Derby's for June 20, 2025. Filming on the fifth and final season of the Netflix teen treasure hunt drama has officially begun in Charleston, S.C. Spanning six galleries, the collection will feature a number of artifacts from the actual shoot, including zoom lens used for the iconic shot of Chief Brody on the beach, as well as several recreations of memorable locations, such as the dunes from the opening sequence. Jaws: The Exhibition will open on Sept. 14 and run through July 26, 2026. The Television Publicity Executive Committee revealed its list of honorees for 2025, which included The Pitt for Campaign of the Year, Lioness for Returning Drama Series, and Only Murders in the Building for Returning Comedy Series. The shows were awarded alongside CBS publicist Chris Ender, who received the Ben Halpern Lifetime Achievement Award. Elba, a one-time recipient of an art grant from the King's Trust, is teaming with Charles III on a documentary about the program the royal founded in 1976 to help with vulnerable youth. Netflix will release the film in Fall 2026. One response declared: "Had to check three times this wasn't a parody account". A second questioned the reference by the gymnastics star turned Sports Ilustrated cover model, declaring simply: "This can't be real." A third asked: "She get hacked???" while a fourth said simply: "This is crazy work." A fifth declared: "Ain't no damn way the word gooner is being thrown around like this". It went out to her 186k followers on the social media website and at the time of writing had been viewed 1.9million times, generating 21k likes in less than two hours. Cline is best known for her role in the Netflix series Outer Banks. The South Carolina native briefly attended Coastal Carolina University before dropping out to pursue acting in LA. Model Dunne recently made her runway debut in Miami Beach on May 31, leaving fans gobsmacked as she performed the splits. And she has shown herself more than adept at holding her own on social media when combatting trolls - as well as using humour when engaging with fans - as her fame grows as one part of America's fastest-growing power couple. While Pirates pitcher Skenes was in action against Detroit Tigers this week, the Tigers mascot - appropriately a tiger - held up a cheeky sign behind home plate that was clearly visible to the pitcher. It read: 'Sup Livvy Dunne.' "Sorry... not my type of tiger," she posted on X with an equally witty retort.
