OnePlus unveils OnePlus Pad 3: Check specs, features and other details
OneOnePlus, on Thursday, officially launched the OnePlus Pad 3 alongside the OnePlus 13s, its first ever compact smartphone. The newest tablet in OnePlus' lineup is less than six millimetres thin and comes with an all-metal unibody design that looks and feels premium. Sporting a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 3.4K resolution, the tablet has a unique 7:5 aspect ratio that makes multitasking easy.
Building on the OnePlus Pad 2, the newly launched OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is available in two variants – one with 12GB RAM and 256GB and another one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
All of this is backed by a 12,140mAh battery, which OnePlus claims lets you play high-end AAA games for up to 6 hours or play videos for up to 17 hours. It also supports 80W fast wired charging. The OnePlus Pad features a total of eight symmetrically aligned speakers – four woofers and four tweeters that offer an immersive audio experience.
The tablet comes with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box and offers several AI features like AI Writer, AI Summarize and Circle to Search. OnePlus has also upgraded Open Canvas, which now features a system-level drag and drop functional and enhances the overall split screen experience. However, OnePlus is yet to clarify how many OS upgrades the Pad 3 will get.
On the camera front, the OnePlus Pad 3 comes with a 13MP rear camera with OIS that can record videos in 4K resolution and an 8MP selfie shooter. Like last year, customers will also be able to buy accessories like a tri-folding folio case, keyboard with a new AI button and Stylo 2 stylus.
The OnePlus Pad 3 will be launching in Europe and North America on June 5 and will be coming to the Indian market sometime later. As for price, the OnePlus Pad 3 is expected to cost somewhere around Rs 50,000.
