Lottie Tomlinson shares health update after needing emergency surgery on holiday
Louis Tomlinson's sister Lottie Tomlinson has shared a health update after being rushed for emergency surgery in Abu Dhabi after feeling unwell on the flight to the Middle East Lottie Tomlinson has provided a health update days after she was rushed to hospital in Abu Dhabi. The influencer, 26, required emergency surgery after flying to the country with her fiance Lewis Burton and their kids. The sister of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson explained feeling unwell during the plane ride to their destination. However, she explained how she quickly got worse, dealing with stomach pains before being sick. After landing in Abu Dhabi, Lottie went to see a doctor, who put the star on a drip. However, the pain didn't subside and when she was sent to hospital it was found she had appendicitis. After being rushed into emergency surgery, Lottie had her appendix removed. She update fans at the time from her hospital bed. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, told her followers she was recovering. She initially said: "So they sent me to hospital where they discovered that I had appendicitis so I needed surgery straight away, so last night I had surgery to remove my appendix and it all went well, so I'm just now recovering." An in an update later that day, an elated Lottie revealed she had been discharged. Sharing a sweet snap from the back of a cab, Lottie wrote: "Out of hospital and on the way to the hotel to rest. Thank you all so much for the kind messages." She was seen holding her partner's hand in the upload. In an adorable follow-up, she then said showed Lewis and their kids enjoying playtime in a swimming pool. "Back where I belong. You make everything better," she gushed. Mum-of-two Lottie revealed earlier this year why she dissolved her facial filler. She had explained how she felt "insecure" during her pregnancy due to the "combination" of weight gain and facial fillers. The content creator said that she was "still so tied up" in her "physical appearance" at that time and that she thought it was "everything". She then said how her bump becoming "huge" and her face having "blown up" towards the end of the pregnancy contributed to her decision to later have her fillers dissolved. She wrote in her memoir: "The massive weight gain in combination with all the fillers I'd had before getting pregnant made me feel really insecure. The fillers in my lips and cheeks made me look silly as my face blew up and it was then that I realised the beauty treatments had got a bit out of control. After having Lucky I got rid of them all." And Lottie continued by saying she was left "questioning" why she had "these feelings in the first place". She suggested that "so much of it" was due to her career and social media, but said that she could, for the first time, "see beyond that" after becoming a parent.

The 26-year-old influencer, whose brother is former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, jetted off to Abu Dhabi this week, but things took a turn as she felt 'really bad stomach pains' on the plane. 'So I didn't expect to start my trip like this,' she admitted in a selfie video from her hospital bed, which she shared on her Instagram Story. 'But I'm just grateful that I'm recovering now. I fell quite ill on the way here on the plane with really bad stomach pains,' Lottie said, noting that once she landed, she started 'throwing up'. 'Long story short, I went to the doctor and they put me on a drip,' she revealed. 'But it wasn't helping the stomach pains. So they sent me to hospital, where I discovered that I had appendicitis.' She added: 'So it needed surgery straight away. So last night I had surgery to remove my appendix, and it all went well.' In the caption, she wrote: 'Thank you to all the lovely doctors and nurses here in Abu Dhabi.' As described by the NHS, appendicitis is 'swelling and infection in your appendix' which 'usually causes pain in the lower right side of your abdomen'. Symptoms usually start with pain in the middle, near your belly button, with the pain increasing and moving to the lower right side 'after a few hours'. Pain can feel worse when you 'move, cough or press on the area'. Other symptoms include feeling or being sick, loss of appetite, high temperature, constipation or diarrhoea, urinating more than usual. For older people, 'sudden confusion' is also a possible symptom. Lottie later returned to Instagram with a more positive update alongside a photo of her and Lewis in a car holding hands. More Trending 'Out of hospital and on the way to hotel to rest,' she wrote. 'Thank you so much for all the kind messages x' She later shared some photos of herself in a bikini and her family in the pool, revealing how happy she was to be back with her family for the rest of their trip. Lottie Tomlinson shares health update after being rushed to hospital for emergency surgery in Abu Dhabi
Lottie Tomlinson has shared a health update after she revealed that she was rushed to hospital in Abu Dhabi for emergency surgery. The influencer, 26, who is one of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson 's sisters, had flown to the country with her fiance Lewis Burton and their children. But Lottie said she started to feel unwell on the plane there, with stomach pains getting worse before she eventually vomited. After landing in Au Dhabi, Lottie went to see a doctor and was put on a drip - but when it didn't help the pain she was sent to hospital where it was discovered she had appendicitis. Lottie was then rushed for emergency surgery to have her appendix removed and shared a clip explaining the scare from her hospital bed on Instagram on Thursday as she recovered. And in the latest update, Lottie took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday evening and revealed that she has been discharged from the hospital. Posting a photo from the back of a cab while holding hands with partner Lewis, she wrote: 'Out of hospital and on the way to the hotel to rest. Thank you all so much for the kind messages.' She later shared a heartwarming image of Lewis with their two children in the pool, adding: 'Back where I belong. You make everything better.' Just the day earlier, Lottie informed her follower that she 'didn't expect to start our trip like this.' 'So I didn't expect to start our trip like this but I'm just grateful that I'm recovering now,' she began. 'I felt quite ill on the way here, on the plane, really bad stomach pains. 'Then I started throwing up when I got here and long story short I went to the doctor and they put me on a drip - but it wasn't helping with the pain, the stomach pains. 'So they sent me to hospital where they discovered that I had appendicitis so I needed surgery straight away, so last night I had surgery to remove my appendix and it all went well, so I'm just now recovering. 'But I'm so grateful to all the nurses and doctors that have looked after me and I'm hoping that I can make a quick recovery.' She captioned the clip: 'Thank you to all the lovely doctors and nurses here in Abu Dhabi.' Lottie also shared a snap of Lewis sitting by her ward with their two-year-old son Lucky as they kept her company. The couple also welcomed their second child, a daughter called Flossie, in January. 'Hopefully I can make a speedy recovery and enjoy our last few days here,' she captioned the snap of Lewis and Lucky. It comes after last month Lottie admitted her cosmetic procedures became a 'never-ending cycle' as she candidly opened up about using filler and having beauty treatments. The influencer has had her lip and cheek filler dissolved and previously said she noticed the cosmetic procedures had 'got out of control'. But in May Lottie revealed that she first turned to cosmetic treatments after 'losing her confidence' after her mum Johannah Deakin's death in 2016 at the age of 43. She said she believes her mum 'sugarcoated' her diagnosis and she never realised 'how bad' she was until near the end. The influencer has had her lip and cheek filler dissolved and previously said she noticed the cosmetic procedures had 'got out of control'; pictured 2021 Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she revealed that becoming a mother herself has changed the way she views herself and given her her confidence back. Lottie said: 'I felt like it was making me happy, you know? Losing the weight and feeling slimmer definitely made me feel better in myself. 'But in terms of the fillers and the beauty treatments, it was just a never-ending thing of trying to catch up with yourself. 'And, like, when you lose someone as close as your mum, it affects your confidence a lot. 'That's something I never expected, because if you think about it, your mum is the one person that cheers you on, that loves you unconditionally, that's there to give you that, you know, reassurance and support. 'So when you lose that, you kind of lose that, you know, confidence in yourself. 'So I think I was constantly chasing, trying to find that confidence, thinking I would find it in these, you know, fillers and how I looked.'

Emotional Kate Cassidy reveals sweet moment in her day that made her feel connected to her late ex Liam Payne: 'I'm literally shaking right now'
Emotional Kate Cassidy has revealed a sweet moment in her day that made her feel connected to her late ex Liam Payne. Singer Liam died aged 31 on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was found to have alcohol and cocaine in his system. Kate, 26, who had been dating Liam for two years, has been documenting her grief journey on social media. And on Thursday Kate took to her Story to reveal that during her trip to get her nails done, the salon starting playing One Direction song What Makes You Beautiful on the speaker. The timing of the song coming on was particularly poignant for her as when it started playing she had just done a post about her changing appearance over the years and which tweakments she has had done. She said in a clip: 'I just left the nail salon I am in awe. 'I was in the nail salon and I did a post about the last two years and about how I feel about my appearance and how my looks have changed the literal second I pressed post What Makes You Beautiful Came on. 'The first line of that song is 'you don't need makeup to cover up, being the way that you are is enough', and it couldn't have been a more perfect song to come on. I'm so happy I can't explain it.' Her previous clip said: 'Please volume this so hard to hear. PLS CHECK MY LAST REEL AS SOON AS I PRESSED POST you don't know you're beautiful came on at the salon. I'm in awe.' It comes after earlier this week Kate shared some never-before-seen intimate texts with Liam as she marked eight months since his tragic death. She shared a gallery of pictures of herself and Liam and told how she lives in a 'constant state' of missing her 'best friend', admitting she can't put her pain into words. One photograph showed Liam wearing a T-shirt with her name written on it and pictures of her face printed across it as she stood beside him smiling. The influencer also shared a screenshot of texts Liam had sent her on August 1 gushing over his love for her, just two months before his tragic death. She explained: 'I was in the nail salon and I did a post about the last two years and about how I feel about my appearance and how my looks have changed the literal second I pressed post What Makes You Beautiful Came on' The messages read: 'Shall we go -play tennis for an hour? I literally couldn't love you more if I tried and somehow I will tomorrow. I can't wait to see you.' (sic) In a caption, Kate candidly opened up about her grief as she emotionally said her life doesn't 'make sense' without Liam in it. She penned: 'Eight months ago today, I lost my best friend and someone I thought I had so much more time and life left to share with. 'Liam was the kind of person you'd start missing the moment you walked out the door. Even when leaving the house for a few hours, I'd find myself rushing home to be with him again out of excitement. 'Now facing the reality that I live in a constant state of missing you is something I still can't fully wrap my head around. 'Knowing I can't just come home and see you, hear your voice, or feel your hug, it's a type of pain I can't fully put into words. 'I can't seem to tell if life is flying by without you or moving so slow none of it fully makes sense. 'But I am trying to live my life as best I can for now and live it for you. I miss you more than words can say. Ending on their angel number 444, she added: 'One day, I'll see you again, and I'll have so much to tell you. So much to catch up on. I love you my angel❤️444.' Angels have been symbolic for Kate since Liam's passing, particularly the number 444, which she has since got tattooed on her hand. The influencer also shared a screenshot of texts Liam had sent her on August 1 gushing over his love for her, just two months before his tragic death Kate also has a beaded phone charm with the number '444' and an 'L' laced through the thread in a tribute to Liam. Angel numbers are repeating sequences of digits, normally in sets of three or four, and they are believed to hold spiritual guidance. In numerology, 444 is a sign that the 'angels are with you' and are 'there to guide you step by step'. In the weeks after his death, she referenced the angel numbers as she shared that they had been planning to marry in the weeks leading up to his passing.
