Keep up by reading our FREE midday Barchart Brief newsletter for exclusive charts, analysis, and headlines. Nvidia's Blackwell chips are reportedly sold out for the next year, with supply-demand imbalances expected to persist throughout 2025. This tight supply environment supports pricing power and is likely to translate into revenue growth for the coming quarters. The chip maker's technological leadership has enabled it to control over 90% of the GPU market, supplying critical hardware to tech giants such as Microsoft (MSFT), Google (GOOGL), Meta (META), and Tesla (TSLA). Nvidia is at the forefront of addressing the global labor shortage crisis, with 50 million unfilled positions across the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Through a strategic partnership with Hexagon, Nvidia is enabling the development of AEON, an advanced humanoid robot designed for industrial applications. AEON leverages Nvidia's robotics ecosystem. AI supercomputers train foundation models, while the Omniverse platform provides simulation environments for testing and optimization. Finally, robotic computers execute the models in real-world applications. This integrated approach accelerates development timelines, with AEON mastering core locomotion skills in just a few weeks. The humanoid robot addresses critical industry needs, including reality capture, manipulation tasks, part inspection, and complex industrial operations. And importantly for investors, Nvidia's innovative work in humanoid robotics is just one small piece of the pie. It also offers investors exposure to data centers, high-performance computing, sovereign AI, autonomous vehicles, gaming, and more. After a pullback in 2025, Nvidia's valuation has reset to decade-long lows relative to projected earnings. Today, the tech stock trades a 33.6x forward earnings, below its 5-year average of 49.2x. Bernstein maintains an 'Outperform' rating, emphasizing that fears of the AI trade being 'over' are premature. With the global AI industry expected to grow at a 42% compound annual rate over the next decade and Nvidia maintaining its technological moat, Bernstein believes the growth story remains in its infancy. Out of the 44 analysts covering NVDA stock, 37 recommend 'Strong Buy,' three recommend 'Moderate Buy,' three recommend 'Hold,' and one recommends 'Strong Sell.' The average target price for Nvidia stock is $174, indicating an upside potential of over 20%. Nvidia to develop industrial AI cloud for manufacturers in Europe

Nvidia has announced that it is developing the 'world's first' industrial AI cloud in Germany to support European manufacturers. This AI factory will feature 10,000 GPUs, including Nvidia DGX B200 systems and RTX PRO Servers, enabling enhancements in design, engineering, simulation, digital twins, and robotics. European manufacturers like BMW Group, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Schaeffler are leveraging Nvidia-accelerated applications from software providers such as Ansys, Cadence, and Siemens to transform their product lifecycles. These applications facilitate simulated product design, factory planning, AI-driven operations, and logistics. The AI factory will utilise Nvidia CUDA-X libraries, RTX, and Omniverse-accelerated workloads, following the Nvidia Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design. Cadence's Reality Digital Twin Platform will simulate and optimise the facility in a virtual environment. Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said: 'In the era of AI, every manufacturer needs two factories: one for making things, and one for creating the intelligence that powers them. 'By building Europe's first industrial AI infrastructure, we're enabling the region's leading industrial companies to advance simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing.' Major software vendors are integrating Nvidia's AI-physics technologies and Omniverse platform to enhance their offerings. Maserati is using Siemens' Omniverse-powered solutions to visualise airflow over car bodies, while Ansys incorporates Omniverse into its Fluent software for fluid simulations. Volvo Cars has achieved a 2.5x acceleration in fluid simulations for its EX90 electric vehicle using Ansys Fluent on Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, the company claims. Cadence's Millennium M2000 Supercomputer, combined with Nvidia technologies, accelerates AI-driven simulations for various industries. Ascendance has achieved a 20x reduction in simulation runtimes for aviation designs using Cadence Fidelity software and Nvidia GPUs. Schaeffler is adopting Nvidia's physical AI stack for digital factory planning and robotic training across its more than 100 plants, utilising Siemens' Omniverse applications alongside partners like Microsoft Azure Industrial Cloud. BMW Group is creating plant-scale digital twins with Nvidia Omniverse libraries for real-time collaboration and autonomous robot development, while Mercedes-Benz is using Omniverse to optimise factory assembly lines. Analysis of Nvidia's First-Quarter Earnings

Nvidia wants to be seen as a one-stop-shop, particularly for companies developing robotaxis and humanoid robotics. The pitch is that it has three offerings in parallel: chips that go in to actual robots/robotaxis (called deployment at-the-edge), chips that go in to data centers to train core algorithms and then what it calls Omniverse that allows for simulation and synthetic data. This has started to resonate more with the investors I speak to on the show who see a broader set of end markets, beyond GenAI tools that are apps for consumers or enterprise applications.
