Earthquake of magnitude 3.8 jolts Afghanistan

Afghanistan was struck by a 3.8 magnitude earthquake on Sunday, following a 4.2 magnitude quake on Saturday. The shallow depth of Sunday's earthquake increases the risk of aftershocks and potential damage. Situated on active fault lines, Afghanistan is highly vulnerable to earthquakes, compounding challenges for communities already struggling with conflict and underdevelopment. Tired of too many ads?
