Liam and Noel Gallagher pictured together for first time since Oasis reunion new
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Noel and Liam Gallagher have posed for their second public snap together in 15 years, since Oasis' sudden 2009 split and almighty fall out. In August the bickering brothers announced a huge reunion tour, posing for a black and white picture together to celebrate the momentous occasion. The brothers have now publicly joined forces for the second time to promote their Adidas partnership, marking the first time Liam, 52, and Noel, 58, have been photographed together since the Oasis comeback news. The new image, posted on Adidas' social media on Thursday, showed the pair dressed in the fresh designs branded with 'Oasis', and was captioned: 'The band with three stripes.' Fittingly, the advert for the collaboration features historic clips from Knebworth to Heaton Park, and Wembley to Rio, emotionally soundtracked by Oasis' 1994 hit Live Forever. The clip comes to a crescendo of Liam and Noel posing moodily side-by-side – not hugging just yet – as they stare into the camera wearing their Adidas gear, seemingly gearing up for the stage. Oasis and Adidas are also teaming up for an Oasis Live '25 apparel collection, which sees their classic 90s looks modernised. Just a month short of 16 years since Noel announced he could no longer work with his brother Liam, the Britpop legends will be taking to the stage once more on July 5. They are performing in Cardiff, before heading to their native Manchester for a five-night run, and London's Wembley Stadium at the end of the month. Edinburgh and Dublin dates are set for August, before Noel and Liam head over to kick off the North America leg of their tour. Fear not though: the brothers will (hopefully) be back, getting on like a champagne supernova in the sky (fingers crossed), to perform two more Wembley shows in September. The Adidas campaign comes after Edinburgh City Council expressed concern about Oasis' gigs in Murrayfield Stadium. The dates come in the middle of the famed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which takes over the city for the month of August. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video In the official papers, the council called Oasis fans mainly 'middle-aged men' who 'take up more room', as reported by The Sun. They also expressed concerns about the amount they might drink, explaining they expect 'medium to high intoxication' and a 'substantial amount of older fans' amongst the 210,000 punters on August 8, 9 and 12. Not one to ever hold back, Liam shared his thoughts… More Trending 'To the Edinburgh council I've heard what you said about OASIS fans and quite frankly your attitude f***ing stinks I'd leave town that day if I was any of you lot,' he said, adding: 'I'd love to see a picture of all the people on the Edinburgh council bet there's some real STUNING individuals.' In an update about the Oasis Live shows, a source who was at one of the band's rehearsals told The Sun: 'Oasis have never sounded better. They were playing Cigarettes & Alcohol and Liam's vocals sounded really good. '[Liam's impressive vocals] were probably down to the two packets of Lockets cough sweets that he was sucking throughout the rehearsal.' The source added: 'You could hear Noel's lead guitar really well and he sounded so good too. To hear them playing live, and playing so loudly, was an incredible moment.' Got a story? "These are the best water bottles I've ever used. The bite valve is effortless and leak proof , and easy to get the last drops. Build quality feels great and they are dishwasher safe (however I have only hand washed these so far)." A second happy customer wrote: "Really happy with these soft flasks! More shoppers preferred the design that meant there were less drips, as another happy purchaser wrote: "Happy with this purchase. The quality seems very good on these running water bottles, and the design is both functional and sleek. They've been reliable and leak-proof on my runs and handy day to day. Nice product." Liam and Noel Gallagher kicked out of pub and banned by angry landlord
Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher were kicked out of a pub by a fed-up landlord after the brothers 'thought they could do what they wanted' A pub landlord revealed he had to kick brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher out of his pub after they thought 'they could do what they wanted'. Liam and Noel, who brushed their never-ending feud under the rug for an Oasis reunion tour kicking off next month, annoyed a pub landlord when they used to walk in at the last minute. In a recent episode of Three Landlords Walk Into a Bar - a new podcast powered by HEINEKEN SmartDispense - Mark Chalmers, now General Manager at Stockport's historic White Lion, opened up about kicking the brothers out of a Manchester venue he was working at in the 1980s. Speaking to Jodie Kidd and Merlin Griffiths, he said the Gallaghers were the most famous people he's ever had to bar. However, it did come with a price. "They'd always come last minute when we wanted to close the bar, and turned up thinking they could do what they wanted. In the end they just pushed it too far and I just said 'look both of you, you're out'," he said. When asked if the brothers gave him 'any gob', he added: "Of course they did - they still give plenty of gob back now to anybody, don't they?!' Meanwhile, Liam recently admitted he isn't"in charge" of Oasis rehearsals. With just over two weeks to go, the reunited Gallagher brothers are rehearsing in London ahead of Oasis' first live shows in 16 years. Noel previously had the nickname 'The Chief' as he was the chief songwriter and organiser of the band. And it is a name he is still living up to today. When questioned on X, formerly Twitter, who is in charge of everything, Liam replied: 'Noel'. He also reiterated that he had called Noel, and that phone call is thought to be the thing that ended the row between the pair. Confident Liam said his voice is sounding 'biblical' in rehearsals, and sources within the camp also say the wall of sound from the guitars led by Noel is also shaping up nicely. The band split after the Gallaghers had a backstage bust-up at Rock en Seine in Paris in 2009. And now, almost two decades later, the duo will be performing together starting on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. Liam and Noel Gallagher are bringing in newcomer Joey Waronker on drums alongside more established former Oasis band members on guitars. The full line up is expected to be Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker.

Shamal reveal plans for "Urban Oasis" at historic Dubai Zoo site
The site of the historic Dubai Zoo is being converted into a low-rise development that honours its legacy. The Dubai Zoo shut its doors in 2017, with all the animals moving to Dubai Safari Park, and was considered something of a landmark in the emirate. Located in Jumeirah, the Dubai Zoo was originally built in 1967 and was home to more than 100 species of animals. And now, investment firm Shamal is building a residential and lifestyle destination which has been inspired by the organic clusters and greenery that was once the Dubai Zoo. The new development will prioritise walkability and open green space, including shared courtyards, a large central park and preserved mature trees. The new space will respect the legacy of the old landmark through organic architecture, sustainable landscaping and community-led design. Plans include an array of amenities for the eventual residents, including courtyards and a club house, a wellness area, a dedicated children's play area, a family pool, lounge and gym. A new development at the site of the old Dubai Zoo (Credit: Shamal) The 'Urban Oasis' will be made up of 90 meticulously designed residential units that blend in with the surrounding neighbourhood. Abdulla Binhabtoor, Chief Executive Officer at Shamal, explained the plans to honour the site of the old zoo. He said: 'This is more than a redevelopment; it is a profound reimagining of a beloved landmark that holds deep connections for countless individuals and the wider community. 'At Shamal, we aspire to deliver the extraordinary – not through scale alone, but through intention, care, and design that speaks to the soul of the city. 'Our vision is to respectfully honour the site's rich past and curate a progressive space for modern living. 'It is designed for people to live, connect, and thrive, fostering a personal, calm, and grounded lifestyle that blends heritage with the present.' A new development at the site of the old Dubai Zoo (Credit: Shamal) DXB Lab will partner with Shamal on the architecture of the site. Khalid Al Najjar of DXB Lab explained the design process of the old landmark. He said: 'Our design process began with a deep exploration of the site's history and natural character. 'We were inspired by the organic clusters and greenery that once defined the Dubai Zoo, and we translated those elements into a geometric architectural language that feels both rooted and forward-looking. 'This project is a tribute to Jumeirah's legacy – an environment where memory and modernity coexist.' Noel Gallagher is 'shocked by how great' Oasis sound
Noel Gallagher is "shocked by how great" Oasis are sounding in rehearsals for their tour, according to his pal Bono. The rocker has ended his years-long feud with his singer brother Liam to get the band back together for their massive Oasis Live '25 tour which kicks off this summer, and now Noel's close friend U2 star Bono has revealed how rehearsals have been going. During an appearance on Apple Music 1 with Zane Lowe, Bono explained: "They're both funny. I'm still very close with Noel, and he sent a message to me saying he's kind of shocked by how great the band is [sounding at rehearsals]. I think we're going to have a good summer." Bono added of Oasis: "I love them. I just love them. And what I really love is, the preciousness that had gotten [into] indie music, they just blew it out. There was just the swagger, and the sound of getting out of the ghetto, not glamorising it" When asked if he will be going to see the band on the reunion tour, Bono replied: "Of course! And remember what they did as well. Those kind of big guitars, big Neil Young generous sounds. "They were against the law in the UK, and they're like, 'No, I have to do what I f****** want. And then they had this kind of rhythmic, beautiful quality. "'Today is gonna be the day...' So that's a kind of, that's an almost R and B rhythm. "But Manchester was very influenced by dance music, so they were groovier than anybody. They were rawer than anybody. "And [Us bandmate] Edge and myself met them in the first album [Definitely Maybe]. We went to Noel's flat. And they're like ... it's literally a basement flat first album. "And it's like: 'Yeah, I'm into U2. Noel's like: 'Yeah, you're the Edge! Wow!' And Liam's whatever. "And I'm saying, you know, America's great, because at that time it didn't get through - till now. By the way, Oasis' message didn't get through maybe to America, and America didn't get through to ... so this is going to be, this would be like their first tour in the US. People that know how great they are." The tour kicks off on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales and will include dates across the UK and Ireland before they head to North America, Asia and Australia before wrapping the run in Brazil in November.
