AI+ smartphones' designs and colors officially revealed, launch postponed to July
Last month, we learned that AI+, a smartphone brand part of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, led by Realme India's former CEO Madhav Sheth, will launch its first smartphone by the end of June. This revelation came from Indian online retailer Flipkart, which has now revealed that the smartphones will arrive in July instead. Flipkart also shared images of two smartphones and showed one in five colors. Its back panel has two cameras, with the text on the camera island confirming the primary camera uses a 50MP sensor. AI+ smartphones The second smartphone looks similar to the AI+ Nova 2 5G, whose design was exclusively revealed by us first earlier this month. While Flipkart only showed us this phone in one color, Madhav Sheth shared an image revealing all color options of this model. You can see that the smartphone has a flat design, sports a dual camera setup on the rear, and features a red-accented power key. The communication we received from AI+ says this model has a "lightweight form," supports dual SIMs, and is "designed for fast, responsive performance." Looks good and keeps your data safe. #AiPlusSmartphone #NxtQuantum #BuiltForYou — Madhav Sheth (@MadhavSheth1) June 20, 2025 AI+ is betting big on the privacy and security aspects of these smartphones and said that its phones will "give users real control over their data, ensure cloud transparency, and enable an experience that is private, auditable, and secure by default." Additionally, AI+ stated that the NxtQuantum OS, running on its smartphones, is "auditable, policy-aligned, and governed by Indian law." The brand also claimed that "all user data is stored within India on MeitY-approved servers hosted by Google Cloud." While AI+ hasn't officially revealed the names of its smartphones, it has confirmed that they will be sold in India exclusively through Flipkart. The brand is also expected to launch a smartwatch with built-in TWS earphones. An image of the smartwatch's retail box, which we exclusively shared earlier this month, revealed that it would be called "wearbuds Watch 3." We were told AI+ would unveil the smartwatch alongside its smartphones.

Exclusive: AI+ smartwatch launching this month with in-built TWS, Nova 1 and Pulse 1's prices tipped
Earlier this week, we exclusively shared an image of the AI+ Nova 2 5G smartphone, which will be launched on June 25 in India. Now we learn that AI+, part of the NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, will also launch the smart wearables category, with the first product - or one of the first products - being a smartwatch with in-built TWS. Our tipster shared an image of the AI+ smartwatch's retail box, which suggests the smartwatch will be a part of the "wearbuds" lineup and will be called "wearbuds Watch 3." There's also text below the branding that reads "Smartband-Stored True Wireless Earbuds." The box doesn't display the watch's image, but the outline gives us an idea of the wearable and TWS' design, with the latter having silicone tips for passive noise cancellation. The tipster told us that like the smartphones, the AI+ smartwatch will also be manufactured in India. AI+'s wearbuds Watch 3 We previously reported that AI+'s Nova series will include "three distinct" 5G smartphone models, priced between INR5,000 ($60/€50) and INR8,000 ($95/€80). We know one of them is the Nova 2 5G, whose price is unknown, and our tipster shared the prices of two phones we haven't heard of before - the Nova 1 5G and Pulse 1. The Nova 1 5G will be priced at INR5,000 ($60/€50), while the Pulse 1 will cost INR6,000 ($70/€60). If those prices are correct, these will be some of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the market. This new information doesn't align with what we heard previously, so we are assuming that either the third Nova phone got rebranded to Pulse 1, or that Nova device exists and the Pulse 1 is a different phone. We'll hopefully have more clarity about AI+'s products in the coming weeks.

Exclusive: Here's our first look at NxtQuantum's AI+ Nova 2 5G smartphone
Last week, we learned that AI+, a smartphone brand part of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies led by Madhav Sheth, will launch its first smartphone by the end of June. And yesterday, the brand announced that it would launch its Nova series 5G smartphones in India on June 25 without revealing the names or specs of the phones. Well, we know one of the smartphones will be called Nova 2 5G, and we've got an exclusive image of the phone to share with you. The picture shows the back of the AI+ Nova 2 5G, having a glossy panel with a squircle-shaped camera island in the top-left corner. The island houses an LED flash and two cameras. There's also text on the right side of the camera module that reads "Matrix AI Camera," suggesting that the AI+ Nova 2 5G will come with some AI-powered camera features. A sticker on the back cover of the AI+ Nova 2 5G reveals dual-SIM support, with the phone having 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage onboard. However, there could be more memory options available that are currently unknown. That's all the image of the AI+ Nova 2 5G reveals. AI+ said the Nova series smartphones launching on June 25 will be "affordable AI-powered 5G smartphones," starting at INR5,000. The lineup will include "three distinct models" priced between INR5,000 and INR8,000, promising to "redefine the smartphone experience for Indian consumers, offering high-speed 5G connectivity, powerful AI features, and sustainable design." Speaking of sustainability, the Nova series smartphones are manufactured using refurbished parts to reduce e-waste. And, as a part of the brand's commitment to the Indian government's "Make in India" initiative, the smartphones will be assembled locally by Ismartu. The brand previously confirmed that AI+ smartphones will run NxtQuantum OS, which, it says, "has been uniquely designed by Indian engineers, offering a user-friendly interface optimized for the Indian market." The AI+ Nova series smartphones go on sale in India starting June 25 through offline retail partners and leading online platforms, including Flipkart. You can expect to hear more about them in the coming days.
