Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara begin shooting for Anil Ravipudi's 'Mega157' in Mussoorie
Picture Credit: X Megastar Chiranjeevi has joined hands with 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam' director Anil Ravipudi for his upcoming film tentatively named 'Mega157.' The movie stars Nayanthara playing the female lead. The latest report suggests an update regarding the film's shoot. Nayanthara joins cast on Mussoorie schedule As per a report by 123Telugu, the shooting schedule of the film is currently underway in the locales of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Lead actors, including Chiranjeevi, have already joined the set, and now the report suggests that Nayanthara has also arrived to begin the filming of crucial scenes featuring the lead pair. Special song sequence to be shot in hills This movie marks Nayanthara's return to Tollywood and her third collaboration with her 'Godfather' co-star. The report also states that this leg of the shoot will also include a song sequence to be shot in the scenic backdrop of the hills. The announcement of Nayanthara joining the project was made through a lively and engaging video on social media, where she was seen enthusiastically going through the script and even recreating one of Chiranjeevi's iconic dialogues. There are high expectations for the film, as Chiranjeevi is said to be seen in a comical role with the director Anil Ravipudi, who is known for his films that have a humorous, emotional, pleasing, and mass appeal. The music of the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. The production is moving at a brisk pace, with the makers expected to wrap up shooting by October 2025. The film is expected to be released during the grand Sankranthi window in 2026. Chiranjeevi's other projects On the other hand, Chiranjeevi has two more films in his pipeline, including the socio-mega film 'Vishwambhara,' which is facing multiple production delays. He has also signed a film with 'Dasara' fame director Srikanth Odela .
