Lokayukta traps Mysuru City Corporation revenue inspector
Mysuru: Lokayukta sleuths on Saturday trapped a revenue inspector of Mysuru City Corporation along with a bill collector for allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a complainant.
They were caught red-handed when the duo was receiving the bribe amount. The accused, attached to MCC Zone 4, are revenue officer MN Nandeesh and bill collector Razaq. The duo was accused of demanding Rs 25,000 for issuing e-khata certificate.
Following a complaint, a team of Lokayukta inspectors Umesh P, Lokesh, and Ravikumar carried out the operation under the supervision of Lokayukta SP TJ Udesha.
