‘Akhanda 2: Tandavam' new schedule kickstarts in RFC
The powerhouse duo of 'God of Masses' Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster director Boyapati Srinu have joined hands for the fourth time for the highly anticipated Akhanda 2: Tandavam. Touted to be bigger in every aspect — story, scale, technical finesse, and production — the sequel promises to surpass the impact of its predecessor, Akhanda. Produced on a massive scale by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the prestigious 14 Reels Plus banner, the film is proudly presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri. Recently, high-octane action sequences were filmed in grand locations across Georgia. A new shooting schedule is commenced at Ramoji Film City (RFC), with Balakrishna and the full team participating in the filming of several crucial scenes. The teaser released on Balakrishna's birthday created a nationwide sensation, garnering record-breaking views and receiving overwhelming applause. Tollywood's lucky charm Sreeleela plays the female lead, while dynamic actor Aadhi Pinisetty takes on an intense role. The film also boasts a top-tier technical team, including music director S. Thaman, cinematographer C. Ram Prasad, editor Tammiraju, and art director AS Prakash. Akhanda 2: Tandavam is slated for a grand pan-India release on September 25, as a festive Dussehra treat.

Nandamuri Balakrishna Forces Allu Arjun To Dance At Telangana Gaddar Film Awards
Last Updated: Allu Arjun won Best Actor for Pushpa 2 at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards held at HITEX, Hyderabad on June 14, 2025. The energy was sky-high at HITEX, Hyderabad, on Saturday, June 14, as the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards lit up the evening with stars, selfies, and surprises. While the winners were announced weeks ago, the actual ceremony took place last evening. Allu Arjun, who bagged the Best Actor award for his fiery role in Pushpa 2, made a dashing appearance at the event. But before he could soak in the applause, he got a surprise of his own, courtesy of Nandamuri Balakrishna. A video doing the rounds on social media shows Balayya playfully egging Bunny (as fans lovingly call Allu Arjun) to dance to Mahesh Babu's peppy chartbuster Kurchi Madathapetti. The song was playing at the venue, and Balakrishna wasn't letting this golden moment slide. Allu Arjun was all laughs and tried to dodge the dare. This made the crowd cheer for them. Also spotted at the starry evening were Vijay Deverakonda, and several other Tollywood biggies. Take a look: Two weeks ago, when the winners of the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards were announced, Allu Arjun took to social media to share his gratitude. He wrote, 'I am truly honoured to receive the first Best Actor award for #Pushpa2 at the #GaddarTelanganaFilmAwards 2024. Heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana for this prestigious honour . All credit goes to my director Sukumar garu, my producers, and the entire Pushpa team. I dedicate this award to all my fans , your unwavering support continues to inspire me (sic)." Allu Arjun stepped into the film industry with his debut in Gangotri (2003). He gained widespread recognition with Sukumar's cult hit Arya (2004), which also earned him a Nandi Special Jury Award. His action-packed roles in Bunny (2005) and Desamuduru (2007) gained him much popularity. In 2008, he showcased his romantic side in Parugu, a performance that won him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. Allu Arjun continued his winning streak with a series of box office hits with Arya 2 (2009) and received critical acclaim for his performance in Vedam (2010). His flair for action and comedy shone in Julayi (2012) and Race Gurram (2014), followed by notable successes like S/O Satyamurthy (2015), Sarrainodu (2016), and DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017). He delivered one of his biggest hits with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in 2020. Allu Arjun is now gearing up for a massive project — his upcoming film with director Atlee, co-starring Deepika Padukone. Eluru: Hindupur MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna along with actress Samyukta inaugurated the fifth showroom of Vega Jewellers in Eluru town on Friday. Balakrishna is the brand ambassador of Vega Jewellers. Vega Jewellers Chairman Bandlamudi Rammohan, Managing Director Vanama Naveen Kumar, Directors Vanama Sudhakar and Chitluri Nageswara Rao were present. They said that after opening their showroom in Kakinada, they are happy to open a branch in Eluru. On this occasion, they have introduced many special offers like free gold coin on every purchase of Rs 1 lakh. They also said that a lucky draw will be held on the occasion of inauguration of Eluru showroom and five lucky draw winners will be given diamond necklaces worth Rs 2 lakh each.
