'I just want to be remembered as...': Saraya opens up about how she wants fans to remember her
(Image via X) Veteran wrestler Saraya, a three‑time women's world champion, recently opened up about which moment she'd most like fans to remember for her contributions to WWE. The women's champion has highlighted her desire to be recognized as a key catalyst in women's wrestling in WWE. Saraya happens to be one of the most popular figures of WWE of her time. She is known for winning the WWE Divas title twice, and was the most youthful ever to come out on top for the championship at 21 years old years 233 days old. She was additionally the debut NXT Women's Champion and the first individual ever to hold the two titles simultaneously. Despite dominating and capturing the AEW Women's World Championship at the All In event in August 2023, Saraya announced a hiatus late in 2024 to pursue personal projects. How Saraya wants WWE fans to remember her? In a candid conversation with WrestleZone managing editor Bill Pritchard, Saraya promoted her newly released memoir, " Hell in Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives ." As she is away from the ring after her temporary exit in 2024, she also hopes to start training with Natalya and remind everyone just how great she can be in the ring. Is there a match or moment that stands out in her mind? To this, she responded, 'So, moment… Of course, my championship wins. All… Yes! 100% my championship wins. Storyline-wise, I loved my 'Frenemies' thing and that's kind of the biggest thing that people kind of remember from my era, is Frenemies with AJ Lee and stuff." She further added, 'I just want to be remembered [as] someone that kind of helped usher in the Women's Revolution. And people had their opinions on that, of who they thought started it, but, whatever. I just know that I was a part of a group that lit the match,' she noted. 'I want to be remembered for that.' There were rumors about her joining the company, but her official arrival brought even more excitement. Triple H, WWE's Chief Content Officer, plays a huge role in developing the main roster and future stars in NXT. He often visits the Performance Center to stay connected with the next generation of talent. His latest visit gave fans a first look at his meeting with Monroe, who is expected to make a big impact. A rough start for the former AEW star As the argument between the women grew, it quickly turned physical. Monroe, still new to the brand, was attacked by Nyx and Henley. Pro wrestling legend Bubba Ray Dudley has high praise for Zena Sterling as he previews 'WWE LFG' Season 2
Pro wrestling legend Bubba Ray Dudley will return to "WWE Legends & Future Greats" for the second season of competition as the next crop of talent looks to earn an NXT contract. Dudley, one half of the famed pro wrestling tag team the Dudley Boyz, told Fox News Digital ahead of the start of the second season there will be mix of those who came up short in the first season and new faces in Season 2. He said he believed the intensity level for those competitors returning from Season 1 will be turned up a notch. "I think fans can expect the same from Season 1 in Season 2 of 'LFG' only with the level of seriousness a lot higher," he said. "I think a lot of the returning 'future greats' from Season 1 realized how serious this show really is and how big the competition really is and what it truly means." Dudley pointed to the impact Jasper Troy has made on the NXT roster almost immediately. Troy stepped up to challenge NXT champion Oba Femi and became one of only a few opponents Femi looked to struggle against. "Jasper didn't win the match, but he certainly caught the eye of wrestling fans all over the world. Definitely got the WWE Universe to sit up and take notice about who he was," Dudley said. "Jasper Troy was throwing Oba Femi around the ring like no other competitor ever has. "So, to get the opportunity to go through 'LFG' to get that contract, put on TV, be put in situations where you can face Oba Femi, huge deal. And I think that the people from Season 1 returning know that I believe it is a much more serious season with the stakes. Even though the stakes are the same, the level of intensity are kicked up." Zena Sterling was one of Dudley's students from Season 1 who will compete in Season 2. She came up just short of earning an NXT contract, losing in the Season 1 finale to Tyra Mae Steele. An injury hampered Sterling at the end. Dudley had high hopes for her with Season 2 about to begin. "I believe Zena Sterling is the most popular future great coming out of Season 1. Tyra Mae Steele won the contract, but everyone was talking about Zena," Dudley said. "Zena did a phenomenal job on Season 1 maximizing all of her television time. Zena does a phenomenal job maximizing her social media, and, in my opinion, Zena should have won Season 1. "A knee injury at the absolute worst, worst time just days before the finals at Madison Square Garden knocked her down to 50%. Even at 50%, it was a struggle for Shawn Michaels to give that contract to Tyra. "WWE NXT, they know what they had with Zena Sterling, and Zena is coming into Season 2 on a mission and that mission is to win. I don't speak as highly as I do about Zena just because she is on my team. I would speak just as highly if she was on Booker's team or Michelle McCool's team or Undertaker's team. This girl has it all. She has the 'it' factor, Zena is going to be a big deal in the WWE and a force to be reckoned with in the women's division one day." Dudley named a few others fans should look out for, including men's Season 1 runner-up Shiloh Hill, Haze Jameson, Elijah Holyfield, Bayley Humphrey, Sirena Linton and Dani Raye. He told Fox News Digital he was proud to have the ability to mold the next generation of superstars and hoped the 16 competitors will take a step forward and compete for a contract in WWE. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed to get new stablemates in two prominent NXT stars

Recently, after the infamous Paul Heyman betrayal that left not just fans, but also Roman Reigns and CM Punk completely shocked, Rollins has found a new group to have his back. Although who knows when betrayal strikes again. But for now, looks like this new stable is looking to add more stablemates, and NXT stars Ethan Page and Ricky Saints are said to be in the mix. Former and current NXT North American Champions could join Seth Rollins' stable The Former NXT North American Champion, Ricky Saints, who recently lost his title to the current NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page, are both in consideration to join Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman's brand new stable. Rollins already has Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on his side, and could be adding two more to the equation. Fightful had previously reported that WWE had no plans on adding more members to the stable, at least until the WrestleMania weekend. But things seem to have changed after the Saturday Night Main Event episode back in May, when Bronson Reed joined Rollins and Breakker inside the ring to take out CM Punk. Paul Heyman is, of course, also a part of this group after he betrayed not only Roman Reigns but also CM Punk and changed the course of their storyline to a completely different route. And now, according to Bodyslam, WWE is planning on adding more members to this exciting new stable. And the two NXT stars who recently fought it out amongst each other are their top choices for the job. Both Ethan Page and Ricky Saints are exceptional wrestlers and have taken the NXT crowd by storm. So it is not a surprise that WWE is planning to make a shift and bring them to the big leagues. While this could mean exciting new things happening inside the Stamford-based promotion, things are not set in stone. This stable has a lot of potential, and adding new stars to the mix could go either way. Until then, fans can enjoy Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman's brand new stable as it is, and keep their fingers crossed for what comes next.
