Bella Ramsey Reportedly Eyed For 'Big' Marvel MCU Role
Bella Ramsey became a household name for The Last of Us, a live-action HBO series based on the video game franchise of the same name. Now it looks like Marvel Studios could be eyeing Bella Ramsey for a role in the MCU. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, so does its need for major stars, so it's no surprise that Ramsey's name made it to the studio's list. As shared via insider @MyTimeToShineH on X, this role would be a 'big' one for the shared multimedia franchise. With the MCU comprising both theatrical films and television, including their own Disney Plus exclusives and specials, there are endless ways Bella Ramsey could appear in a future project. And, if it's a big role, that means Ramsey could be a recurring character that might have a part to play in both movies and television. Here's what the insider shared: Bella Ramsey is being eyed for a big Marvel role. Who would you like to see them play in the MCU? — MyTimeToShineHello (@MyTimeToShineH) June 6, 2025 Of course, there wasn't much information shared beyond the fact that the role would be 'big,' so it's still unknown what part she could play if they were chosen for the MCU. However, with the studio introducing a new X-Men reboot, that potential superhero team alone could feature a number of characters suitable for Ramsey. Additionally, with a Young Avengers movie and several Multiverse-centric projects on the way, Ramsey could play a member of the titular superhero team or any number of variants for heroes that have already been established in the MCU. Ultimately, Marvel Studios could come up with any number of spots for Ramsey to fit into the franchise, so we'll have to see what happens on that front. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Marvel Cinematic Universe updates as we have them, including whether or not Bella Ramsey could have the opportunity to play in the MCU as a major character going forward.

Doctor Doom's Rumored Sinister Interest in Franklin Richards Might Shape the Future of The MCU — GeekTyrant
There's a new rumor floating through the Marvel multiverse that could reframe how The Fantastic Four: First Steps connects to Avengers: Doomsday , andit involves Doctor Doom, Franklin Richards, and some very ominous plans. According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, 'Doom will take Franklin Richards and will use him for his plans.' That's a major claim, and if it holds water, it not only positions Doom as a central threat but also ties Marvel's First Family directly to the multiversal chaos unfolding in the Avengers films. Now, let's talk about Franklin Richards. This isn't just some sidekick-level character. On the page, Franklin is the son of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, and he's considered one of the most powerful beings in the entire Marvel Universe. We're talking cosmic-level, possibly omniversal-level. Franklin has reality-warping powers so vast, and in the comics Roma, the guardian of all realities, once said he was equal to the Celestials. He can astral project without range limits, manipulate time, and create life from nothing. He's formed entire planets, resurrected the dead, and even created a pocket universe. Oh, and he can also throw The Thing across a room with a single thought using his bio-blast telekinesis. If Doctor Doom sets his sights on that kind of power, it makes sense why the Fantastic Four would pursue him, or maybe send Franklin away to Earth-616 to protect him, inadvertently luring Doom there in the process. The upcoming First Steps post-credits scene reportedly hints at this connection. We still don't know if Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom is from the same universe as the new Fantastic Four. If he is, that sets the stage for an emotionally and dramatically tangled relationship. If he isn't, it might mean Doom is chasing Franklin across realities, which makes the threat even more intense. Franklin isn't just another super-powered kid. He's a walking, talking reset button for reality. That makes him both a target and a weapon, and if Doom gets control of him, Avengers: Doomsday might live up to its title in ways the multiverse isn't ready for. Whether this is Marvel's plan or just well-informed speculation, it's exactly the kind of connective tissue that could make the next chapter of the MCU feel less like a reboot and more like an epic culmination. Either way, it seems Franklin Richards could be the key to everything.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Post-Credits Scene Details Leak as Recent Test Screening — GeekTyrant
Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps held a surprise test screening in Los Angeles recently and now, one of its post-credits scenes has reportedly leaked online. It's interesting that Marvel actually held an early test screening like this. Some fans believe Marvel might be worried about how this film will land—especially after Thunderbolts* didn't exactly set the box office on fire, despite receiving some of the best reviews. Others believe it's Kevin Feige trying to recalibrate the MCU and get a read on what fans actually want. But regardless of the studio's motive, one thing's certain, if you hold a test screening on a big film like this, leaks were bound to happen. What we didn't expect was this kind of leak, especially so far ahead of the film's July 25 release. According to industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH, the post-credits scene in question involves Sue Storm reading to her and Reed's son, Franklin. She briefly leaves the room, and when she returns, Doctor Doom is sitting beside Franklin, mask in hand. It's explained that his face is never shown but both the costume and mask are described as 'very comic accurate.' Placing Doom in direct proximity to Franklin? That could mean big things. In the comics, Franklin Richards isn't just any kid, he's a reality-warping powerhouse. So if Doom's already targeting him, it adds serious weight to the theory that the Fantastic Four didn't just survive the collapse of their universe, they were pushed into action because of Franklin. Doom kicking off the events that lead Marvel's First Family to Earth-616 would be a smart way to tie this origin story directly into the bigger picture, namely Avengers: Doomsday . The scooper also shared a tidbit about Chris Evans, who fans have speculated might appear in the movie as either Johnny Storm or a variant Steve Rogers: 'I know for a fact he filmed something so it was either cut or will be in the final version of the film." So it sounds like the door isn't entirely closed on a surprise Evans cameo, just maybe not in this version of the cut. And to be clear, this is only one of the post-credits scenes. Marvel has a history of making eleventh-hour changes, so even if this moment was in the screening, it might not survive the final edit. Stay tuned, and maybe keep your expectations flexible. We're in the multiverse here.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Set Photos May Have Just Teased the Arrival of the X-Men's Sentinels — GeekTyrant
Marvel may be keeping plot details under tight wraps for Avengers: Doomsday , but leaked set photos on the internet have a way of cracking secrets wide open, especially when giant robot feet are involved. New photos from the upcoming Avengers film have fans thinking they may have spotted a major mutant-related threat lurking in the rubble. An X user recently posted a series of images and videos from one of the film's outdoor sets, and one thing immediately stood out: a massive downed robot. Most of it was draped in blue covering, likely to hide design details, but some exposed pieces including a giant foot and a mauve-colored chestplate were visible enough to spark speculation. And it didn't take long for Marvel scoopers to jump in. Notably, @MyTimeToShineH reposted the photos with the caption: 'A Sentinel on the Avengers Doomsday set!' The word Sentinel is all it took to send Marvel movie fans spiraling into theory mode. In the comics, Sentinels are towering, weaponized robots designed to hunt and destroy mutants. They're some of the most iconic and enduring villains in the X-Men universe, having first appeared in X-Men #14 back in 1965. While we've seen versions of them before, most notably in X-Men: Days of Future Past , where Peter Dinklage's Bolivar Trask helped bring them to life, those designs leaned heavily into futuristic, shapeshifting tech. What fans are seeing in these Doomsday photos, however, looks a lot more like the classic comic book versions. Granted, nothing has been confirmed. Marvel Studios hasn't said a word about Sentinels being in the movie, let alone how the X-Men will be integrated into the mainline MCU. But, with the X-Men being involved, it wouldn't be surprisng to see Sentinals show up. Avegners: Doomsday will be released in theaters on May 1, 2026.
