Kylie Padilla turns emotional as she shares current outlook on love
Kylie Padilla became emotional as she shared a deeply personal and emotional insight into her current perspective on love, revealing a new approach centered on divine inspiration. In 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' Friday, the Sparkle star candidly expressed her journey and her desire not to be defined by past traumas. 'I'm trying something new kasi marami akong—ako, 'di ko na-survive 'yung gano'ng nangyari sa 'kin. Alam niyo naman lahat 'yon. So I'm trying something new where I'm trying to understand how God would love,' she said. Kylie's current outlook is influenced by a divine approach, where she seeks to comprehend and emulate God's love. 'If God can love me and forgive me and come from a place na hindi nauubos, baka kaya ko rin. Lagi akong nagdadasal na teach me how I can love the way you do kasi I don't wanna be shaped by the bad things that traumatized me or that hurt me,' she said. The actress's motivation extends to her children, as she wishes for them to witness resilience and love despite adversity. 'I want my kids to see that no matter what happened to you, you still should come from a place of love. So 'yun 'yung outlook ko with love right now. Kasi for a time din naging bitter din ako, 'di ba? So the only way I feel I can be healed is higher being na,' she said. Kylie has two sons, Alas and Axl, with Aljur Abrenica. Kylie and Aljur parted ways in 2021. Aljur later admitted that he cheated on Kylie. Following the separation, Kylie and the boys moved into their new home. In September 2023, Kylie shared that she does not hold them back from seeing their dad and that she does not want to put him in a negative light. GMA Afternoon Prime is set to air three new shows later this June: "My Father's Wife," "Akusada," and "Cruz vs. Cruz." On Monday afternoon, GMA Afternoon Prime held a grand media conference attended by most of the cast members of the three upcoming Kapuso TV shows. 'My Father's Wife' "My Father's Wife" follows the story of two childhood friends, Gina Rodriguez (Kylie Padilla) and Betsy Morales (Kazel Kinouchi), who turned into enemies due to financial and lifestyle differences while growing up. Their stories will forever be intertwined when Betsy marries Gina's father, Robert Rodriguez (Gabby Concepcion). Present during the media conference were the main cast, Kylie, Kazel, and Gabby, as well as Arlene Muhlach, Snooky Serna, and Andre Paras. "My Father's Wife" is directed by Aya Topacio and Dominic Zapata. It will premiere on June 23 on GMA Afternoon Prime. 'Akusada' "Akusada" follows the story of a woman named Carolina Astor (Andrea Torres) who had to change her identity to Lorena Herrera and live a new life after being accused of a crime she did not commit. Some of the cast members who joined the media conference were Andrea, Lianne Valentin, Benjamin Alves, Aaron Villena, Arnold Reyes, Marco Masa, and Ashley Sarmiento. "Akusada" is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata. It will premiere on June 30 on GMA Afternoon Prime. 'Cruz vs. Cruz' "Cruz vs. Cruz" is a story of the two families of Ryan Cruz. He left his original family in the Philippines to work abroad and provide for them. During his time as an OFW, he meets a woman who lures him to marry her after she gets pregnant. The cast members present during the media conference were Vina Morales, Gladys Reyes, Neil Ryan Sese, Kristoffer Martin, Lexi Gonzales, Elijah Alejo, Caprice Cayetano, and Pancho Magno. ‘My Father's Wife' stokes intrigue in teaser video
'My Father's Wife,' starring Kylie Padilla, Gabby Concepcion, Jak Roberto, and Kazel Kinouchi just released a teaser video. The teaser, shared by GMA Drama on Instagram, suggested a love affair between Gabby's and Kazel's characters. In the series, Gabby plays the role of Kylie's father, while Kazel portrays her best friend. Jak also enters the scene, playing the role of Kylie's lover. 'Thou shalt not covet thy best friend's father,' the caption read. 'My Father's Wife' will premiere on June 23 on GMA Network. Aside from the main cast, the series will also star Snooky Serna, Arlene Muhlach, Andre Paras, Maureen Larrazabal, and Sue Prado. Kylie Padilla brings sons to taping: ‘Super grateful'
It was Bring Your Kids to Work Day for Kylie Padilla, who brought her sons Alas and Axl to one of her out-of-town tapings. In an Instagram Reel, the Kapuso actress said she was 'Getting super busy lately with 'My Father's Wife' taping, so I brought my kids to work." Kylie shared clips of her sons on a golf cart, enjoying the area's playground, and building forts in a house. They also rode a gondola on a small lake. 'The location was perfect for kids too. They had their fun on campus and I was able to work in peace knowing I would be sleeping next to them after. Super grateful,' the actress added. Alas and Axl are Kylie's sons with her ex-husband, Aljur Abrenica. The couple separated in 2021, with Aljur admitting that he cheated on Kylie.
