Ozzy Osbourne is selling his DNA 'so fans can try to clone him' when he's gone

In a bizarre move ahead of his final gig, Ozzy Osbourne is selling his DNA to lucky fans for the small sum of $450 (£335). The Black Sabbath legend, who will return to Birmingham next month for his final ever show, has teamed up with drinks company Liquid Death for a limited edition deal. There are 10 cans of iced tea – which the Paranoid hitmaker has already consumed – up for grabs. The empty cans were re-sealed after Ozzy, 76, finished the drink, which hold his DNA inside. Liquid Death's PR team said: 'Once technology and federal law permit, fans can use this DNA to try to clone Ozzy in the future and enjoy him for hundreds of years to come.' Ozzy seems very pro-cloning as he quipped: 'Clone me, you b****rds.' This isn't The Prince of Darkness' first collab with the brand as he previously starred in an ad for Liquid Death's Death Dust electrolyte drink mix. He joked in the clip: 'Whatever you do, don't try freebasing it and never ever inject it. And don't even think about boofing it, you little perverts.' It seems Ozzy's sense of humour hasn't wavered amid his recent health struggles, which will perhaps see him chair-bound when he takes to the stage at Villa Park on July 5. Back to the Beginning will see Ozzy give a short solo performance before reuniting with Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in 20 years. However, fans – and even Black Sabbath's Tony – have expressed concern for Ozzy's health on the night. Speaking to Music Week three weeks ahead of the show, Tony admitted: 'This would be a big, monumental thing if it all comes good. The worrying thing for me is the unknown. 'We don't know what's going to happen. Normally, when we'd tour, we'd rehearse and run through the thing for a while, and it's just us. But with this event there are so many other moving parts. 'You're used to Ozzy running around, but he certainly won't be doing that for this show. I don't know if he's going to be standing or sitting on a throne or what.' Last month, chatting on Ozzy Speaks, The Osbournes star revealed his blood pressure was being taken 15 times a day. Ozzy explained: 'I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It's hard going, but he's convinced that he can pull it off for me. I'm giving it everything I've got. 'It's endurance. The first thing that goes when you're laid up is your stamina. I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.' The worrying updates come after Ozzy revealed he was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2020, and two years later he paused touring following extensive spinal surgery in 2023. More Trending Ozzy crashed a quad bike at his Buckinghamshire home in 2003, which required surgery and metal rods to be installed in his body. A fall in 2019 displaced metal rods inserted into his back from the crash, which he said caused more complications than Parkinson's itself. The one-off charity concert will feature performances from the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Mastodon, and many more. Proceeds will raise money for Cure Parkinson's, the Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice. Got a story? Black Sabbath star shares fears over Ozzy Osbourne's health for final show

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is worried about the band's big goodbye gig in Birmingham on July 5, as reports emerge that frontman Ozzy Osbourne's heart is being monitored daily. The Back To The Beginning show, taking place at the iconic Villa Park stadium, will see the full Black Sabbath line-up – composed of Tony, Ozzy, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – reunite on stage for the first time in 20 years. The show – also with supporting performances from the likes of Metallica and Slayer – is billed as Ozzy's final farewell to fans, following his health decline due to a 2020 Parkinson's diagnosis and extensive spinal surgery. 'I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day.. I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.' The one-off charity concert will see Ozzy perform a solo segment before the legendary rockers come together one final time. Proceeds will raise money for Cure Parkinson's, the Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice. As per Tony's words, last month Ozzy confessed he might be 'sitting down' for the show. 'I'll be there, and I'll do the best I can. So all I can do is turn up,' he told The Guardian. As well as his daily heart monitoring, Ozzy revealed a vocal coach was working with him four days a week to 'keep [his] voice going'. 'I have problems walking. I also get blood pressure issues, from blood clots on my legs,' he said. Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne announced the news of the farewell gig in February. 'It's very emotional but very happy. It's time for Ozzy to say goodnight to everybody, and what better way to do it than to do it surrounded by your friends, your family, and back to the beginning – the place where he was born – in Aston,' she said. More Trending 'He's very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,' Sharon told The Sun following the announcement. 'Parkinson's is a progressive disease. It's not something you can stabilise. It affects different parts of the body and it's affected his legs. 'But his voice is as good as it's ever been.' Taking place all day, the heavy metal festival will also feature a supergroup of musicians including Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins, Duff McKagan and Slash from Guns 'n Roses, Frank Durst from Limp Bizkit, Mike Bordin from Faith No More, and Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine. Black Sabbath rehearsal update as they 'don't know' if Ozzy can perform again

Black Sabbath take to the stage in July and have confirmed rehearsals start this month but Ozzy's input is not clear Black Sabbath guitarist and rock icon Tony Iommi has admitted he 'doesn't know what's going to happen' when Ozzy Osbourne tries to get back on stage next month with the band. Ozzy and Black Sabbath will headline their final gig on July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, as part of an event titled "Back To The Beginning". ‌ This show will reunite the original band members – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – for the first time in 20 years. ‌ The band played its "last" gig in 2017 in Birmingham with Osborne, guitarist Iommi and bassist Butler but without Ward on drums. But last year Ozzy was not well enough to perform at the band's Rock'N'Roll Hall Of Fame inauguration in America. In a new interview ahead of the show Tony admitted he has "excitement mixed with fear' ahead of the show, whilst he also confirmed rehearsals are due to start this month. He said: 'This would be a big, monumental thing if it all comes good. The worrying thing for me is the unknown. 'We don't know what's going to happen. Normally, when we'd tour, we'd rehearse and run through the thing for a while, and it's just us. But with this event there are so many other moving parts.' ‌ He added: "You're used to Ozzy running around, but he certainly won't be doing that for this show. I don't know if he's going to be standing or sitting on a throne or what.' Iommi and Ozzy have exchanged setlist wishlists, which will be consolidated in due course when they meet up in person. Speaking to Music Week, Iommi said: 'Once we start playing, then we'll know we're doing it. ‌ 'It's always a worry, even when we did tours before, there's always that build-up, and then it gets to the point that we do it and it's OK.' Ozzy, who is suffering from Parkinson's disease, told last month how he has been having physical therapy and training with a trainer virtually living with him in Los Angeles in a bid to get him fit enough to perform on stage after a catalogue of illnesses. Ozzy's wife Sharon said: 'Ozzy's working with his therapist every single day. He's doing really well, actually. Ozzy's number one thing in life is his fans, so he's working hard to be ready for them, to make this show the perfect way to end things.' ‌ Ozzy's wife also told Music Week(PLS REF) the celebration gig shows how well the band have endured through the years since they formed over 50 years ago. She said: 'You've got to remember, this is a band that started in the '60s – and they're still here,' marvels the manager. 'A lot of the bands who started in the '60s are no longer alive, or operating as they used to.' In May Ozzy admitted he is suffering huge self confidence and stage fright issues ahead of his summer UK farewell show - but has vowed 'to give 120 percent'. ‌ Speaking on his own radio show in America he said: 'My head's crazy. ADHD - I have that badly. 'I will have done the show and died a death before I even started my exercises. So I try and put it on the back burner. 'I'm not going up there saying 'It's going to be great. I'm really confident.' 'In my head I will have died on my ass. I remember being in f***ing Vegas one time being in the dressing room going, 'I'm going to play. I'm going to die.' ‌ 'And I talked myself into blowing the gig. It was only two f***ing songs. 'Sharon goes, 'just don't think about it.' 'But all I can say is I'm giving 120%. If my God wants me to do the show. I'll do it. Sometimes if I start obsessing on the time, I'll be insane by Friday. So I'm just taking it one day at a time.' * Fans will be able to live stream the Back To The Beginning sold out concert. Details at

Will Oasis Have New Music Ahead of the Reunion Tour? Here's What the Band's Manager Says

While rumors about the upcoming Oasis reunion tour continue to swirl, one of the band's co-managers has put one to bed: There will be no new music from the Gallagher brothers. Speaking to Music Week, Alec McKinlay, who heads the band's Ignition Management and Big Brother Recordings, Oasis' U.K. label, revealed that there were no plans for Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher to get back in the studio together for a new record. The band released their most recent album, Dig Out Your Soul, in 2008. More from Billboard Every Oasis Album, Ranked (Critic's Take) Adam David Delivers Teddy Swims' 'Lose Control' on 'The Voice' as Finalists Are Set Blake Shelton Drops 'Texas' on 'Fallon,' Says Post Malone Fueled His Return 'This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press,' McKinlay said in the interview published Tuesday (May 13). 'It's a chance for fans who haven't seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. But no, there's no plan for any new music.' The confirmation arrives after months of rumors, including some teasing by frontman Liam on his social platforms. In September, Liam responded to a fan to say that a new record was 'already finished,' and in November he said he was 'blown away' by the songs Noel had allegedly written for a new album. The band's reunion tour kicks off in the U.K. at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4. The run of dates will continue through Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before hitting North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia across the 41 planned shows. Elsewhere in the interview, McKinsley discussed the response to the shows globally. 'We'd obviously been planning it for a while and the moment when it went live was a little bit of a step into the unknown in terms of how big the reaction would be,' McKinlay said. 'When it all hit home, it was just phenomenal. The reaction was very much one of, 'Finally, some good news after all the nonsense that's been going on in the world.' 'Probably the biggest and most pleasing surprise of the reunion announcement is how huge it was internationally,' he added. 'Honestly, we knew it would be big here, and that doesn't take much intuition. But looking outside the U.K., we knew they had a strong fanbase, we did all the stats. We were quite cautious about what that would mean when it came to people actually buying tickets, but we were just bowled over by how huge it was. 'We could have sold out half-a-dozen Rose Bowls in Pasadena and probably eight MetLife Stadiums in New York in a day,' McKinsley shared. 'We saw the ticket stats, we were watching what was happening and the demand was way beyond our expectations.' The clamor for Oasis tickets in the U.K. sparked a debate about on-sale practices. In March, the Competition and Markets Authority said that Ticketmaster may have 'misled' fans about ticket prices for the events. The band has yet to officially confirm who will be performing in the live group alongside Noel and Liam, but the latter has denied reports that 'Hello' will be dropped from the setlist due to its connection to convicted pedophile Gary Glitter.
