THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Villain Giganto Revealed in… a Little Caesar's Commercial? — GeekTyrant

Well, this is a first. Marvel fans just got their first look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps ' surprise villain and it came in the form of a Little Caesar's ad. While a pizza employee raves about their latest deal, they're suddenly interrupted by none other than Giganto, an oversized, monstrous creature straight out of early Marvel canon. Giganto isn't exactly a household name like Doom or Galactus, but longtime readers will recognize the beast immediately. The monster made his debut all the way back in Fantastic Four #1 in 1961, part of a group of mutated Deviant creations. He's most often associated with Mole Man, the first major villain the Fantastic Four ever faced. While Mole Man hasn't been officially confirmed for the movie, the appearance of Giganto definitely points in that direction, and fans are already speculating that this is Marvel laying the groundwork. For a promo spot tied to cheap pizza, it's surprisingly rich in Marvel lore. Giganto towering over a crumbling city while the cashier continues hyping stuffed crust? It's peak MCU marketing weirdness. 'Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel's First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet.' Produced by Kevin Feige, with executive producers Louis D'Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis, First Steps is shaping up to be a true throwback to the roots of Marvel storytelling, complete with Deviant monsters and atomic-age design. The score comes from Michael Giacchino, and fans can expect something big, bold, and maybe definitly strange from this movie. The Fantastic Four: First Steps opens in theaters on July 25, 2025. The cast include Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who will all return in Avengers: Doomsday , hitting theaters in December 2026. But for now, the spotlight belongs to Giganto… and apparently, pizza.

New Teaser Of Fantastic Four: First Steps Shows Mole Man's Monster Giganto In Action

Last Updated: Fans got a first glimpse of Giganto, a giant green monster controlled by Mole Man, from Fantastic Four: First Steps, in a new Little Caesars commercial. Fantastic Four: First Steps is generating much buzz among the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans, who are excited to watch it in theatres. The studio has promised the film will stay true to the original story from the comics. Recently, they showed how they carefully recreated the very first cover of the 1961 Fantastic Four comic. Fans got the first glimpse of Giganto, a giant green monster controlled by Mole Man, in a new Little Caesars commercial. The monster looks just like it did in the comic created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby years ago. The ad features a worker talking about their pizza when he suddenly gets attacked by the giant monster. Soon after, we see Sue Storm, Mister Fantastic, Human Torch and Ben Grimm coming to the rescue. While the clip looks fun, it may actually be taken from the upcoming movie and edited for the pizza promotion. For months, fans have been hearing that First Steps might show flashbacks of the team's earlier fights and this could be one of those scenes. Just a sneak peek of the BIG things coming to the screen soon 👀See Marvel Studios' #TheFantasticFour: First Steps in theaters July 25 — Little Caesars Pizza (@littlecaesars) June 17, 2025 In the comics, Giganto is controlled by Mole Man, who uses him to attack different locations. When the Fantastic Four find out, Mole Man sends the giant monster after them in New York City. In Fantastic Four: First Steps, actor Paul Walter Hauser is expected to play Mole Man. He has shared positive comments about his time on set. While appearing on Sirius XM earlier this year, Paul said, 'I think, from what I've seen, and obviously, I can't say much about it, but I will say the short time I was on set, dude, they're making a cool movie, man. This is a smart, chic Marvel movie that really focuses on family as part of the theme. And you really kind of fall in love with those characters, I think. And that's what's missing sometimes if you don't fall in love with these characters, and you keep putting them in peril, we don't really care. You know, you got to make us care first. And I think Marvel's hopefully getting back to some of that." All four stars are also confirmed to return in Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to hit theatres on December 18, 2026. Marvel's ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps' Reveals Mole Man as New Villain

Ahead of a movie premiere, virtually everything involving Marvel seems to be calculated. This is why the latest tidbit to surface before the release of Fantastic Four: First Steps was even more noteworthy. The latest Marvel movie will hit theaters on July 25, 2025, and slowly but surely, a few small leaks have come to light. The most recent came during a panel with the cast at CCXP Mexico, as Culture Crave revealed on X. During the clip, Joseph Quinn, who will play Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the new Fantastic Four film, dropped the news that a second villain is debuting in the film: Mole Man. "It's certainly a very stacked cast. We've got a lot of fantastic characters in there," said Quinn. "There's also Mole Man, who is wonderful in it. But Galactus is the big bad." The big question is whether Quinn made this comment on purpose or if it was a slip-up by the 31-year-old actor. Considering how tight-lipped Marvel likes to keep things ahead of movie releases, it'd be a surprise if Quinn dropped this out of nowhere when he was supposed to keep it under wraps. As Collider detailed, Mole Man is one of the Fantastic Four's "classic enemies in the comics" and appeared in The Fantastic Four #1 in 1961. As the site explains, there's no clear answer as to who will play Mole Man, but Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich's roles are still 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' Reveals Mole Man as New Villain first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 2, 2025

Fantastic Four's Joseph Quinn Just Confirmed Another Villain Who's Joining Galactus, And I Can't Wait For This Showdown In First Steps

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Following in the footsteps of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, July's The Fantastic Four: First Steps will see Marvel's First Family forced to contend with the cosmic entity known as Galactus. Between the Devourer of Worlds and his herald Silver Surfer, played in this continuity by Julia Garner, you'd think that'd be enough on Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing and Human Torch's plate in First Steps. However, Joseph Quinn, who's bringing Torch, a.k.a. Johnny Storm, to life, has confirmed another villain who's set to appear in the upcoming Marvel movie, and this is a showdown I'm eager to see. While appearing at CCXPMX 25 (via Culture Crave) with his co-stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Quinn let slip during an audience Q&A that we'll be seeing Mole Man in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, though he's obviously playing second fiddle to the (figuratively and literally) big bad who Ralph Ineson is playing. In Quinn's words: We've got a lot of fantastic characters in there. There is also Mole Man, who is wonderful in it, but Galactus is the big bad. He's the big, evil, planet-gobbling space god…He's played brilliantly by the wonderful Ralph [Ineson]. And Silver Surfer, played by the brilliant Julia Garner. We were very lucky to work with her, she's excellent in the film. There are lots of brilliant characters in this film, that's for sure. Although there'd been rumors about Mole Man appearing in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, now we finally have official confirmation about this from one of the actors. So who's playing Mole Man? That's still a mystery, although given what few actors still haven't been identified in First Steps, I think it's probably safe to say Paul Walter Hauser would be the best fit. An extremely loose adaptation of Mole Man was played by Tim Blake Nelson in 2015's Fantastic Four, but it sounds like we can count on a much more faithful take on the character this time around. Mole Man, real name Harvey Elder, was the very first supervillain the Fantastic Four battled in the comics, as he also debuted in 1961's The Fantastic Four #1. Doctor Doom, who appeared four issues later, may have taken the mantle of the team's arch-nemesis, Elder has remained a persistent foe to them over the decades. Between his genius-level intellect, his heightened senses that compensate for his near-blindness, and commanding an army of Moloids, Mole Man is not an enemy to be underestimated, and I can't wait to see what a conflict between him and the MCU's Fantastic Four looks like on the big screen. We don't have that wait too much longer for that to happen, as The Fantastic Four: First Steps opens July 25 on the 2025 movies schedule. After that, the title team will be back in action for Avengers: Doomsday, which is now coming out on December 17, 2026.
