Mleiha Club forms 'Our Holiday Is Different' committee
During the meeting, the Board approved the formation of the "Sharjah Sports Summer - Our Holiday Is Different" Events Committee, which will run from June 30 to July 31, 2025. The committee will be chaired by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Club's Cultural and Community Service Committee. Previous edition success Mleiha Club continues its distinguished performance as an effective centre for sports, cultural, and community outreach through a series of annual programmes and activities that align with government initiatives and support the local social fabric. This decision comes within the framework of the club's keenness to prepare early to organise a distinguished edition of the summer events, especially after the club's great success in the previous edition of the programme, when it won first place. This reflects its excellence in providing comprehensive and purposeful programmes that attract all segments of society. Serving the community On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed that Mleiha Club is always keen to be at the forefront of sports and community institutions that meet the aspirations of community members. He highlighted the club's commitment to providing distinguished summer programmes that combine entertainment and awareness, enhancing its role in serving the community. Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi expressed his pride in the Board of Directors' confidence in appointing him to chair the committee, emphasising the team's readiness to organie a summer season full of cultural, sports, and recreational activities, in line with the aspirations of youth and families in a safe and attractive environment, inspired by the successes achieved last season.

Mleiha Club marks 'Isra and Miraj' with a lecture for players
Lessons and morals The lecture, which was held, on Monday, in the club's outdoor playgrounds, was delivered by a specialist, discussing the lessons and morals learned from this great occasion, including the importance of prayer that was imposed on Muslims in the heavens during the Isra and Miraj journey. Developing religious awareness The lecture saw great interaction from the players, who expressed their gratitude for holding such events that contribute to developing their religious awareness and developing their cultural and human perceptions. On this occasion, Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, member of Mleiha Club's Board of Directors and Head of the Cultural and Community Service Committee, expressed the importance of commemorating religious occasions to enhance faith values among the youth. Al Ketbi stressed that the club always seeks to consolidate religious concepts and moral values, in a way that supports building the integrated character of players, in line with its sporting, cultural and societal mission.
