HM, UAE President stress need to contain Iran-Israel escalation
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, underscored the urgent need for intensified regional and international coordination to contain the escalation between Iran and Israel.
During a phone call, the two leaders expressed their firm rejection of the recent United States air strikes on Iranian territory, warning that such actions represent a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts to de-escalate tensions and further destabilise the region.
