In an interview, he said that Mindhunter Season 3 could happen but in a different form. In an interview, he shed light on his conversations with David Fincher– the Netflix show's executive producer and showrunner– and shared an exciting bit of information. McCallany said that Fincher plans to bring back the Mindhunter brand in the form of three two-hour movies. 'So look, you know, I had a meeting with David Fincher in his office a few months ago, and he said to me that there is a chance that it may come back as three two-hour movies, but I think it's just a chance.,' he was quoted as saying He further added that the scripts are in the works but the projects will materialise only when Davin Fincher is 'happy' with the outcome. "I know there are writers that are working, but you know, David has to be happy with scripts,' he added. Mindhunter enjoyed a tremendous fan following because of its slow yet intense narrative. It remains to be seen if it is able to work its magic in this format. About Mindhunter Set in the late 1970s, Mindhunter centres on FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) as they try to revolutionise the game-changing field of criminal profiling.
