Next's £28 ‘comfy and flattering' holiday dress looks just like £2k D&G one
Next has dropped the perfect summer holiday dress that looks like Dolce & Gabbana's £2k printed midi dress, and it's so 'comfy and flattering' shoppers are buying it in all colours Between upcoming summer holidays and the current heatwave we're all experiencing, there's never been a better time to pick up the perfect summer dress – and we've spotted one that is a guaranteed winner over at Next. The Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress is a bargain at £28, and thanks to its gorgeous colourful print and flattering design, it's the perfect pick for the summer season. It also reminds us of Dolce & Gabana's Printed Cotton Midi Dress, which retails for a staggering £2050 and has a very similar colourful 'La Dolce Vita' type of print. Although the silhouettes of the two dresses are different, the whimsical pattern and bright colours both scream summer holiday, and with the Next dress costing just 1% of the designer D&G one it's no wonder it's been such a hit with shoppers. Reviews of the Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress have been overwhelmingly positive, with one saying: 'Perfect sizing. Easy to wear and looks fab even though I am a 16. Washes well. Great price.' Another agreed: 'Gorgeous dress for holidays comfy to wear and very flattering i bought 3 all different patterns love them all easily dressed up for evening I must add they are on the smallest size so I would size up.' Some also found an issue with sizing, with one writing: 'Too small, even when I sized up.' However plenty more shoppers loved it, saying: 'Lovely summer dress for my forthcoming holiday. The material is soft and skims over my body and the colours are gorgeous.' Another shopper commented: 'This is a lovely dress… although I wanted to wear it in the day with my swimwear I think I would want to dress it up for night too.' The Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress is available in sizes 6 to 26 in petite and regular lengths, and you can also pick from sizes 10 to 20 in a tall fit. It has a flattering midi-length hemline, with adjustable shoulder straps that let you get the perfect fit. The figure-skimming slip-style silhouette is also perfect for staying breezy and comfortable on holiday, without feeling like anything is clinging to your body which we all hate when it's hot. A side slit also helps it flow as you walk to make sure you're comfortable wearing it all day. If you love the print but would prefer a different silhouette, we spotted some fantastic alternatives elsewhere too. Nobody's Child's Cream Printed Cassidy Midi Dress features ruffle details across the chest and on the straps, with a square neckline, fitted bodice and flowing midi skirt that flatters your figure. It's a little pricier at £89, but is made from a lightweight 100% organic cotton which is breathable and sweat wicking, making it ideal for those rising temperatures. We also spotted this more affordable White Fruit Print Scalloped Strap Midi Dress for £37.99 at New Look, which is fitted across the bust and flows out in an empire silhouette. The wide scalloped straps give it a playful touch, whilst the bold colourful fruit print keeps it perfect for summer. However if you want to pick up the Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress, you can get it for £28 at Next in all sizes now. Louise Roe's tailored midi dress nails Royal Ascot's dress code and has 20% off
Fashion expert Louise Roe secured her place on Royal Ascot's best dressed list with a tailored red midi dress from Karen Millen – and you can still shop her exact look with 20% off This year's Royal Ascot outfits have been some of the best yet, and one celeb to firmly cement her place on the best dressed list is Louise Roe. The fashion journalist and broadcaster showed off her outfit on Instagram, opting for the form-fitting Pleated Tailored Midi Blazer Dress from high street favourite Karen Millen. The flattering tailored dress is usually priced at £229, but currently shoppers can save 20% on Louise's exact dress, with the price slashed to £183.20. Everything from its bold red hue to the sharp tailoring and breezy midi skirt made it a hit for the event, looking effortlessly cool whilst still nailing Royal Ascot 's smart occasionwear dress code. Described on the Karen Millen site as 'where power dressing meets feminine charm', the Pleated Tailored Midi Blazer Dress has a structured bodice with a short sleeved blazer-inspired design. It nips in at the waist and flares out gently over the hips to create an hourglass silhouette, with structured shoulders to balance your figure. The short sleeves help keep it cool enough to wear even in the high temperatures, with a classic double breasted button fastening and notched lapels that make it formal and smart. The fitted bodice then flows into a pleated midi skirt which has plenty of movement for a breezy, effortless look. Although Louise's Karen Millen Tailored Midi Dress is still available to buy, it's currently selling out quickly with only sizes six, 10 and 14 left in stock. We did however spot another very similar design at Karen Millen, with the Petite Tailored Crepe Asymmetric Pleated Midi Dress slashed by a huge 70% from £289 to £87. Elsewhere this Friends Like These Red Long Sleeve Belted Wrap Tailored Dress from Next (£49) has a similar spirit to Louise's Karen Millen dress, albeit with a more simple design. For something more breezy and on the casual side, Finery London's Penny Red Midi Dress is also £49 and is made from a breezy, flowing cotton material. However if you want to get your hands on Louise's Pleated Tailored Midi Blazer Dress and it still has your size available, now is the perfect time to snap it up. £35 red stripe summer dress looks just like Never Fully Dressed's sold-out maxi
Missed your chance to shop Never Fully Dressed's red and white stripe midaxi before it sold out? We have a £35 solution... There are few greater highs in fashion than spotting a lookalike of a cult designer piece at a fraction of the price, especially when it hits the season's biggest trends perfectly. Right now, New Look has come through with a summer dress that could easily be mistaken for a much pricier Never Fully Dressed design. If you missed out on Never Fully Dressed's now-sold-out stripe cotton midaxi dress, you're not alone. It was everywhere one minute and gone the next. With its playful mix of pastel stripes, embroidered detailing and that flattering midaxi cut, it had summer holiday written all over it. But now, New Look is offering a strong alternative that's not only just as eye-catching, but also comes in at £35.99 instead of NFD's £169. At first glance, the similarities are striking. New Look's red striped woven puff sleeve milkmaid midi dress shares many of the same standout details as the designer version. The vertical stripes are fun and summery, the puff sleeves give a little vintage charm and the milkmaid neckline is a universally flattering shape that suits all bust sizes. Where the original NFD version leaned into its signature eclectic look with beachy embroidery and a slightly more bohemian feel, New Look's version takes a cleaner approach. The simpler red and white stripe has a timeless, slightly nautical feel that nods to vintage summer holidays. Both dresses also feature a fitted bodice that nips in at the waist before flaring gently into a breezy skirt. New Look's dress lands at a midi length, just below the knee, which makes it slightly shorter than the NFD version. For many, that slightly shorter hemline makes it easier to wear day to day, especially with trainers, flat sandals or even a chunky espadrille. New Look's dress is also made from a cotton-rich blend, so it's light and breathable without feeling flimsy or looking see-through. For a £35.99 dress, the quality is surprisingly strong. Perhaps most importantly, New Look's dress is still in stock across most sizes. That is likely to change once the word spreads, especially among those who missed out on the designer version. If you're shopping around for other similar striped dresses, we also love Nobody's Child's Pink And Red Striped Starlight Midi Dress, £89 – cheaper than NFD but pricier than New Look.

Shoppers love 'elegant' summer dress that 'skims over bumpy bits'
FatFace's Iris Linen-Blend Dress is the ideal summer frock for those who want to look stylish but feel cool and comfortable at the same time When it comes to summer dressing, ease and elegance are the ultimate goals. We want to stay cool in the heat, but still look on trend, and I've found the perfect summer dress for under £70 that ticks all of those boxes. The Iris Light Blue Denim Dress from FatFace is one that strikes the ultimate balance between style and comfort this summer. Priced at £69, this linen-blend midi dress is quickly becoming a staple for fashion fans, who said it 'skims over bumpy bits' and gets them 'lots of compliments.' Crafted in a soft, lightweight linen - one of the most popular fabrics for beating summer heat - the Iris dress boasts a round neckline and sleeveless design, helping avoid pesky sweat patches. The flowy silhouette skims the figure, making it flattering without clinging, which wearers have said 'looks elegant'. The dress has earned nothing but praise since it launched a couple of weeks ago. One shopper said: 'I love this dress, it skims over bumpy bits, looks elegant, and a lovely lightweight and practical dress.' The midi length and unfussy cut make this dress ideal for multiple occasions. Whether you're enjoying lunch al fresco, packing for a coastal getaway or attending a chic wedding, it works for a range of events. Many customers have described it as 'lovely' writing: 'Lovely summer dress, fits and hangs well,' 'Lovely dress and had lots of compliments. Nice quality,' and 'Lovely comfortable summer dress.' It seems to be a rather popular style of dress, with a couple of similar designs on the high street right now. The High-Neck Linen-Blend Maxi Dress from Abercrombie and Fitch is perhaps the closest match we found. It's on sale from £82 down to £38.99, is made from linen and cotton and has a 'body-skimming silhouette'. At Roman, there's a boxier, slightly looser alternative in the Light Blue Satin A-Line Midi Dress, which is £20, down from £36. While it doesn't have any reviews, some shoppers have shared the reason they purchased it, with one commenting: 'It looks cool for hot summer days and evenings.' As for the FatFace dress there are a couple of downsides worth noting. Currently, it is not offered in a tall fit - only regular and short - which may be a drawback for taller shoppers. Additionally, it's available in just one colour, but we imagine many would love to see it expanded into more shades. That said, the Iris Light Blue Denim Dress is still a standout wardrobe hero for summer and I expect it'll be a sellout before the next heatwave. For those struggling to find their size in stock, the dress is also available at Next.

Next £10 dress a 'game changer' for anyone who struggles in summer
With a fitted, strapless silhouette and midi length, these dresses offer the ultimate balance between minimalism and ease We've had some scorchers already this year, and summer hasn't even arrived yet. When the heat is relentless - and for me, that's basically anything above 17 degrees - I find getting dressed a real chore. As someone who adores fashion, I really struggle to find an outfit where I'm both comfortable and cool in the heat, but still look stylish - however, I might have just found the perfect solution at Next. And the best part? They're only a tenner. The high street retailer has released a three-pack of ribbed bandeau midi dresses for £30. Effortlessly cool, wallet-friendly and easy to style, frankly, they're a game changer for summer 2025. The retailer has released not one, but two colourways of its bandeau midi dress triple pack. There's a neutrals option boasting black, taupe and a black and white striped version of the dress, as well as a set that features grey, red and lime green for those who prefer to inject a little more colour into their wardrobe. With a fitted, strapless silhouette and midi length, these dresses offer the ultimate balance between minimalism and ease. Made from 95% cotton, with a little bit of stretch, they deliver a flattering, body-hugging feel while remaining breathable - a must when temperatures soar. Plus no straps means no tan lines, no fuss, and no extra heat. Coming in sizes 6-20, the ribbed cotton bandeau dresses that will carry you from a picnic in the park to rooftop drinks without breaking a sweat. As part of the deal, each one works out at £10 apiece. The only downside is that shoppers can't mix and match the dresses or buy them individually. By comparison, Primark's black bandeau mini dress - while a summer staple in its own right - retails at £14 for a single piece. It's shorter than the Next dress and is only available in two shades, and has less cotton in the composition (77%), blended with polyester. Not only does that make the Next version more cost-effective, but also arguably more versatile thanks to its added length and colour variety. It can be paired with flipflops for a day at the beach, trainers for a day exploring in the city, or dress it up with heels and a leather jacket for a balmy summer evening date night. Elsewhere, for those looking for something a little more premium for more formal occasions, the Butter Yellow Bandeau Felicity Midi Dress at Nobody's Child is a beautiful option for £89. But for everyday dressing, especially for those sensitive to the heat, Next's ribbed bandeau midi dress triple packs are a summer no-brainer. Shoppers can get both sets, bagging six dresses for £60. That's your summer wardrobe, sorted.
