Only 30 units of the Collector's Edition will be made by the luxury manufacturer. What are the exterior changes to the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector's Edition? Mercedes-Benz says that the Collector's Edition of the G 63 is inspired by the vivid palette and timeless tradition of India. There are two exclusive colors for the SUV. They are Mid Green Magno, drawing visual cues from the vibrant greenery seen during the monsoon season, while the second, Red Magno, reflects the rich, iron-tinged soil found in various regions of India. There is a plaque at the rear that mentions how special the G 63 AMG Collector's Edition is. There is a protective strip that runs throughout the body, and it says Collector's Edition on it. Apart from the strip, there are 22-inch AMG-spec alloy wheels that are finished in a golden colour. There is a plaque placed on the spare wheel that sports a 'One of Thirty' badge. The interior of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector's Edition is finished in Manufaktur Catalina Beige with Black Nappa Leather with diamond stitching. Customers can get a personalised grab handle on the dashboard that will be made up of open-pore walnut wood, and the customers can get a name engraved on it. Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector's Edition was teased a few days ago, and the brand has now launched the SUV in the country at a starting price of Rs 4.30 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition version of the legendary SUV will have just 30 units and comes with India-inspired aesthetics. Because of its unique nature, the vehicle is more expensive than the standard version by up to Rs 66 lakh. Without wasting time, the German automaker has started accepting bookings for the vehicle, with deliveries scheduled to begin in Q4 of 2025. Developed by the joint efforts of Mercedes-Benz India and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, the special edition is claimed to have been inspired by the Indian monsoons. Hence, the SUV gets two India-specific Manufaktur paint options called the Mid Green Magno, which is inspired by the lush greenery of the monsoons, and Red Magno, inspired by India's iron-rich soil. The interior features a two-tone Manufaktur Catalana Biege and Black Nappa leather upholstery, along with Open-pore natural walnut wood trim on the dashboard. However, the standout aspect of the Collector's Edition is the opportunity for customers to have their personal name engraved on the dashboard grab handle, creating a uniquely exclusive touch for each owner. Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector's Edition continues to have the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine supported by a 48V mild-hybrid tech. This unit is tuned to push out 585 hp of power and 850 Nm of peak torque. The mild-hybrid system contributes 22 hp of boost. This power is transferred to all four wheels via the 4Matic system, routed by a 9-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

The Tata Harrier EV is one of the most hotly anticipated launches for the year and will be the most expensive EV yet from the automaker. The production-spec version was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo in January this year, and the model is all set to finally make it to showrooms this month. The standard G 63 AMG is priced at ₹3.64 crore (ex-showroom), and you can expect the India-specific special edition to command a bit more. Mercedes-Benz India is on a roll and will bring another performance offering in June. The automaker is planning to launch the new AMG GT. The brand will bring the AMT GT 63 4MATIC+ and the more powerful GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+. This is the second-generation AMG GT, which is larger in proportions and gets a 2+2 seating layout, making it more practical. Powering the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 will be the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with the 9-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. On the standard GT 63, the motor develops 580 bhp and 800 Nm of peak torque, while the GT 63 Pro makes a notch more at 604 bhp and 850 Nm. The Pro variant also packs bigger brakes, aero, and cooling. The AMG GT 63 can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds on both variants, while the top speed is limited to 315 kmph on the standard variant, and 317 kmph on the Pro trim. Expect prices over 3 crore for the new AMG GT range.
