Angel Reese drops massive hint about her relationship status
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese appeared to tease that she's off the dating market - but told her fans that they'd 'never' find out who she's seeing. Reese has previously commented on her dating life, saying that she doesn't want a man that's 'too cute' while generally keeping a low profile. But now it seems that Reese is seeing someone after a video she posted on her TikTok account. The Chicago center posted a quick vid of a beautiful bouquet of pink and white roses while the Ella Mai song 'Little Things' played over it. Reese captioned the video: 'that's a sign, that's a signnnnn.' Naturally, her curious fans wanted to find out more about the identity behind this new admirer. However, Reese appeared to indicate that there would not be any answers anytime soon. One person asked her, 'When are we gone meet this boy Angel!!' After one person commented 'Never.' as a reply, Reese took her queue, adding, 'Exactly, NEVER.' This revelation comes the same week where Reese executed a genius move to troll her haters. After trolls continued to mock the former college national champion for her tendency to rack up 'Mebounds', Reese is trying to trademark the phrase. A 'Mebound', a term derived from being selfish as a rebounder, is a clapback from Reese to some of her online haters who believe her best skill in the WNBA comes from her prioritizing herself and not the entire Chicago Sky roster.

Angel Reese issues genius response to online hate with controversial WNBA star set to cash in on trolls
Angel Reese wants to respond to her online haters by lining her pockets, as she has made the entrepreneurial decision to file a trademark for the term 'Mebounds'. The term, which is derived from being selfish as a rebounder, is a clapback from Reese to some of her online haters who believe her best skill in the WNBA comes from her prioritizing herself and not the entire Chicago Sky roster. Reese's trademark was field in her home state of Maryland and covers any tee shirts, sweatshirts, and hates with the name 'Mebounds' on it. Reese has garnered plenty of attention this season, ever since her on-court confrontation with rival Caitlin Clark last month. Now, Reese is set to make money off of her haters. Reese had to be restrained after Clark knocked her down and caused her to spill the ball moments after she grabbed an offensive rebound near the end of the third quarter. As tempers hit boiling point, Clark turned her back and walked away as players from both teams got between the two to stop things spilling over. Reese then walked to the side of the court where a Sky official stepped in front of her to try and get her to cool her temper. That led to a racism investigation from the league into Indiana's fans, which found no wrongdoing. All parties involved tried to distance themselves from the situation after the investigation was completed. 'There's no place for that in our game, there's no place for that in society,' Clark aid after the investigation was announced last month. 'We want every person that comes into our arena, whether player, whether fan, to have a great experience.' Reese had her time to speak as well, saying that 'there's no place in this league for that.' 'I think the WNBA and our team and our organization have done a great job supporting me,' she told reporters. 'I've had communication from everyone, from so many people across this league. It could happen to me, it can happen to anyone. And I think they've done a good job supporting us in this.'

Angel Reese Directly Addresses Major Criticism About Her Game
Angel Reese Directly Addresses Major Criticism About Her Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Barely over one year into her professional basketball career, Angel Reese has clearly established herself as one of the most dominant rebounders in the WNBA. Advertisement Still, there are critics, but Reese is not afraid to address them directly. After being drafted as the No. 7 overall pick out of LSU, she was selected to the WNBA All-Star Game as a rookie. Her case was strengthened her immediate impact on the glass for the Chicago Sky, averaging a league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game mark at the end of the 2024 season. On Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun, Reese became the fastest player to reach 30 career double-doubles (42 games) in WNBA history. She is also the fastest player in league history to reach 500 rebounds and 500 points in a career (38 games). Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5).Patrick Gorski-Imagn Images In total, 217 of the 552 rebounds in Reese's career have come on the offensive glass. Advertisement Some critical fans created the term "Mebounds" to describe the way that Reese, who sports a career field goal percentage of 38.6 percent, often inflates her rebounding totals by grabbing her own missed layups at the rim. The 23-year-old, who had to fight tears this week when teammate Ariel Atkins acknowledged the "heavy crown" she wears, has heard the term. Her reaction might surprise you. "Whoever came up with the 'mebounds' thing, y'all ate that up," she said in a video to her 5.6 million followers on TikTok. "Anything that comes off that board, it's mine.' She took the slanderous term in stride, calling it a "six-figure" idea while talking confidently about her rebounding abilities. Advertisement "The trolling, I love when y'all do it," she admitted. "The ideas be good!" Reese continues to show strength on and off the court despite being one of the most heavily-criticized players in the WNBA. Though the Sky are off to a 2-7 start to the season, she is averaging 10.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Chicago will look for its third win of the season against the 2-7 Connecticut Sun on Sunday at noon ET on CBS.
